I'm elated a pedal company has paid homage to the late, great, Lemmy Kilmister! His tone was iconic; aggressive, rude, and loud. I'm not surprised that it compelled you to play differently. An overdrive, by its nature amplifies overtones, and sympathetic harmonics. Ergo, you compensate by learning the art of controlled feedback. This is admirable because you did not allow the pedal to overtake the notation of your jam. Much like wild beast, you've managed to subjugate that pedal to obey your mode of control. I just found one of these preowned online for $125(US) I think I"m pulling the trigger and getting that. I just recently acquired a SVT-3 PRO, and this will be a great addition to the collection. Cheaper and easier to find than the Signature Marshall head....THANKS!!

♠🍀♥ Thanx for your video. The idea of a Lemmy pedal is of course a great thing for all Lemmy fans and you can also use a Tube Screamer that has been slightly modified to not cut off low frequencies.. But why didn't Lemmy use a pedal on stage? I wound say it's not possible to get a distorted but still clear and not muddy bass tone with an effects pedal in front of the amp at Motörhead volume. I've been playing distorted bass sounds with pedals for years (Ibanez Tube Screamer, Tech 21 Vt Bass) and today I know that the Holy Grail for distorted, loud but clear bass sounds is Lemmy's way. If you play fast with distorted sound and still want to hear every string strike, then do it like Lemmy. He turned up all controls on his bass and he used high gain pickups. The amps were modified to increase gain and volume and the presence control is also very special. The tone controls on the amplifiers were set to bass at 8 o'clock, mid at 4 o'clock, treble off and presence at 2 o'clock. If you want to dive a little deeper into the Lemmy bass sound topic take a look at my channel, I can't stop playing and singing his songs since he died in 2015 and I've built replicas of his "Murder One" amp.
