Lived in Boca 's from 2002 til 2005. Loved it still do and am going to move back there this year Lord willing. It seems to grown quite a bit. Lived at the Bocas Hotel for my entire stay. Watched and helped it grow up for the good. Actually discovered for development purposes what is now known as Red Frog Beach then was just a foot trail. How time flies. Looking forward to my return
Really love the way you shot this video. We've been several times and we move there in early 2024. We are sending this video to friends and family so they get a taste of Bocas.
Thank you for beautiful footage, the drone footage and maps are so helpful to see where all you went and it looks like a really fun outing. I love your videos. Husband is going to check out Panama in a weeks time on the 14th of April.
Hi, thank you. We did not get any video of Bastimentos at this time. We ran out of time. We will be back again. Its great for a mini vacation from Panama to Panama
35 years ago it wasn't at all so developed. Our group forded the beachhead to get there. Worked on a school and clinic in Bocas-town. There wasn't one vic there at that time. The indiginenants mostly used donkeys if they had one. They taught me to climb a coconut tree there. Tourism has really brought it along.
We came to Panama last October and one thing we found that Panama didn't seem to have something that we enjoy back home was cream for coffee. We love our coffee with 18% cream. What choices do they actually have there for a use like this? We were only there one week so we were not sure if we missed something. Thx
Many expats there, but many folks are also getting mislead by all the promises of one of the overpriced tour companies, actually, they are all overpriced. I'm glad you are educating yourself before committing to a full move.
Great video! We have a trip planned there and cant wait. Is there parking in Almirante to leave our car while we are in bocas for a few days? We are staying on Solarte and I cant find any info online in regards to where to leave our car.
Hi, thank you for watching. There are plenty of places to leave your car. Don't hand off your keys to anyone! Take all valuables out of the car. I'm sure others will comment as well.
@@kaimolle9386Our trip is in March. I think we will take the water taxi from Chiriqui Grande instead of Almirante. Panabocas express has parking available in Chiriqui Grande they said for $3 a day.
Hi, we drove slow with several stops along the way. We arrived after about 4 hrs at Almirante to get in line for the ferry at 12:00. Then 2hours on the ferry. Roughly 6 hours total without rushing. It's worth the trip.

Protect the red frogs. Don't let rich folk destroy their habitat.

Once again thank you the video tour! Your vids are among the best I've seen. Low key, detailed, and interesting.

You're welcome, the best one I have seen yet.
By far the best video of Bocas Del Toro, Did you ever do one on Bastimentos ? Thanks again. God willing will be there in November.

I love Bocas and would live there if I could afford it. Maybe someday.

Very nice. Do you really need a car on that island? If i lived in Bocas. i would just have a little boat. I cannot think of a better way to downsize.
Hi, absolutely no car required. We brought ours to show what it's like to travel by car and other than the trip to the Bluff we did not use it
great video, going soon from CR. What type of drone is that? Great work with it!
Thank you. A friend of ours did that with a DJI mini 3

@@cryptofire22 thank you, we will there in February. I could share my experience ( if I don't forget :) ...)
Hi Please look up Leiza Secure Parking in Almirante
How long did it take to drive from David to Bocas? Loved your video.

I have family over there
I believe there is only 1 gas station, La Bomba.
They should change the bathrooms
did you take all the fish
cuz when I went diving in Bocas Del Toro there were no fish. Nada!
Not exactly a scuba diving destination!
Sad news. On April 13 2024 Azul Hotel burnt down.
Oh no, that was our favorite hotel
I really don’t think $450 for two nights is unbelievably affordable😮
Hi, I am not sure what you are referring to? Please let us know in which part we states that. Thank you.
We paid $35.00 per night in 2022
