if the reason for the skirts is because it's too short, knee length dresses could be a solution ! I've seen some that are super cute and can fit perfectly for this style! :D Alsoo you can wear thick tights or thigh-high sock under it if that would help too! (You can find cute ones as well ^^)

You could DIY some kawaii patchwork pants! Like you could either paint or sew on patches of kawaii characters onto jeans/pants :3 also, long, tiered skirts, long tulle skirts or ruffly long bloomers could be cute! 💕✨

Tbh I think most modern aesthetics are pretty consumerist compared to something like subcultures. Subcultures like goth and punk have an emphasis more on music and politics than clothes or buying things, and the clothing is usually thrifted/diyed!
