Hey there! Planning to play as Aug next patch and I have a few questions: Why full cast fire breath? Never played Evoker before. M+ is pretty easy to use ebon might and prescience, but how about raids? Do I have to get addons and find a way to track who I'm buffing instead of just pressing the buffs? Does ebon might always go to the target I have selected of even then its random?

So there are multiple questions so let me unpack them one by one:
      1) Fire Breath at max rank - The reason for this is because of the talent Leaping Flames. Basically for each rank up on Fire Breath your next Living Flame hits 1 + Rank targets (so 5 targets as a maximum). Since Living Flames can hit firendly targets for healing, having it at max rank means you can hit your target and heal 4 friendly targets, each of these hits have a chance to grant Essence Burst, for free Eruptions.
      2) Raiding and tracking CD's - Tracking buffs, there are multiple different ways from Weak Auras, to Raid Tools to some other personalized set up, I highly suggest taking a look at this link: www.wowhead.com/guide/classes/evoker/augmentation/best-weakauras Or check out the class discord here: discord.com/invite/evoker
      3) Ebon Might Logic - So Ebon Might is by nature random. As far as I know, your target while casting Ebon Might does not change the targets buffed, but I might be wrong about that part.
      I hope that helps!

Idk much about the augmentation evoker. What do you think of the augmentation evoker?

Honestly, I think currently it's a failed experiment, I personally really like the idea of changing the set in stone formula of 1 tank, 1 healer, 3 dps, however currently the way the augvoker works makes it way more powerful in groups with burst classes, compared to groups with steady damage dealers (like frost mage etc). the survivability it can bring is extremely powerful, but I hope that they find a way to make augvoker buff steady dps classes while not being ludicriously powerful with burst classes.
Gameplay wise I find it to be fun, I like the versatility and adaptability depending on fight timers and the supporting aspect, but I don't think I could main one, as I prefer dealing damage by myself and not being dependent on others DPS. So yea it's fun and rather simple, a perfect "ohh I am just going to chill out and do some dungeons spec", But I can become better at it and push higher content kinda wibe.
I hope that answers your question :)

@@Shreddy1337 I guess I can understand that the augmentation evoker is a failed experiment atm from what you told me since the spec Just came out this year and needs to be worked on. I just hope that the spec will be fine as the months go on 😁.or make a full class for support. And awesome that you enjoy the augmentation evoker 😁.
My main is a captain(full support class) in lotro. The captain has 3 specs. Hands of healing/blue line, lead the charge DPS/red line, leader of men tanking/yellow line. The captain switched specs based on what the group is lacking in.

@@Shreddy1337 oh btw. I hope that it is ok. I used your reply to my question about what you thought about the augmentation evoker. I used the lotro captain as an example for support to start a discussion on support in wow.

Would you recommend this or destruction rn

I would say it really depends on what you want to do, while a warlock is always nice to have, there are a lot of setups that don't require a warlock, while augmentation is very powerful regardless of situation, and in certain sitautions completely nullify an encounter. I personally would prefer playing a Warlock, as the three DPS specs does their own things and can fit into many different spots depending on what the fight needs.
But that's just me, my best advice is to always play what you find the most fun or that looks the coolest to you! that way you will enjoy the learning curve and the highs and lows much more then just going of what I or anyone else say! Hopefully my videos or other videos on the classes and specs can help to give you an idea of what you think looks coolest, and help you choose your main for the forseeable future :)
