As long as Episode 5 is in the bottom 2 of your ranking, I'll pretty much always agree with it lmao. Glad to see that it's case here; I knew I liked you for a reason, Blanter. Good thumbnail by the way... I wonder who made it. 🤔
My ranking is 1. Dead End 2. Absolute End 3. Intermisson 4. Cabin Fever 5. Mass destruction 6. The promming 7. Pilot 8. Heartbeat 9. Home (I see intermission as part of the series because of it being the episode that makes V's trauma as the for front)
I honestly don’t understand the dislike behind heartbeat. Heartbeat is what got me hooked into the series with its Eldritch horror stuff. Episode 5 was pretty good, but kinda confusing due to how the memories are manipulated because if Crowzi’s meddling. If you think about it, what actually happened was probably N kept reading his book about dogs and then V dragged him into the basement and Cyn does god knows what. Episode 1 I think was fine. However the animation is worse, and the dialogue is imo a lot more cringe. Episode 1 is the “great filter”. Most people who start the series have to tank their way through the cringe of episode 1, once they get through the pilot it’s smooth sailing. Episode 3 is peak, no questions asked. Episode 4 I disliked because Uzi somehow gets over killing her classmates in like 5 minutes and all the drones for some reason trust N and V and also don’t care about their fellow classmates dying around them. It’s still objectively good but imo the worst in the series. Episode 7 is my second favorite. It was the first episode I was able to catch the premier for, because none of the episodes beforehand I watched the day they released. (I started watching either after episode 3 or 4 released I don’t remember exactly, and episode 5 and 6 I watched like a few weeks after they released.) so maybe the fact that I was there for the premier makes my opinion biased, but I love it. I predicted the Tesscyn twist (I didn’t watch cartoon-universe’s vid, I just had a hunch). Episode 7 I love so much Episode 6 is my third favorite, because I got into the show either a few weeks after episode 3 or 4 released, and I first started interacting with the fandom after episode 6 released because I watched MatPats vid, and then Yag’s debunking vid, which is when I started getting into the fandom. Episode 8 is my fourth favorite, it’s amazing but still flawed and if it had 5 or 10 extra minutes for more emotional character moments and for the pacing to slow down its ranking would increase to #2 or maybe even #1. My personal ranking: 1. Promening 2. Mass Destruction 3. Dead End 4. Absolute End 5. Heartbeat 6. Home 7. Pilot 8. Cabin fever (If intermission was canon it would be between Absolute end and Dead end.
@@Axolotl_2347 Thad. Everyone doesn't like Heartbeat because of Thad, I swear to god to this day not killing off Thad in Heartbeat is among one of the top worst 3 writing decisions Murder Drones has made.
@@TotallyNot0020 naw they should have killed Thad in episode 4, the emotional impact of that and Uzi having lasting trauma in episode 5 from her actions would automatically boost episode 4 and 5 for me.
@@Axolotl_2347 True. Lmao, you just made me imagine a rewrite of episode 5 where Uzi goes sleep deprived cuz she keeps having nightmares about killing Thad, leading her to struggle hacking into N and V, giving episode 5 more stakes and giving Uzi's character more emotional depth as we see how she deals with grief, then the end of the episode she makes a deal with the Solver to give them some access into her systems in exchange for N and V (it'd explain why Uzi suddenly went from overheating to full on possession I guess).
@@BlueSoulGamer I do really love all the episodes but when I made the list I took in all the factors. While Ep 1 does have some of the best writing, the jokes and animation don’t land to well imo. I know they didn’t have proper budget yet but it’s still a factor. It’s still a good episode though but seeing some kind of remaster for it would be awesome!
Personally ranking (including Intermission for fun) 1. Mass Destruction 2. The Promening 3. The Pilot (this episode is so underrated, omg) 4. Absolute End 5. Intermission 6. Cabin Fever 7. Dead End 8. Home 9. Heartbeat
My personal favorites; (The first one will be controversial lol) #1- cabin fever (I really like the characters and not gonna lie N was actually a good character in this one) #2- Absolute end (most of the scenes were beautifully animated) 3#-promuning (very good lol the best part was a Pictures during the prom scene) 4#- (home was just the only reason I really like this series) 5#-dead end (only here because I don’t like the sentinels even if we get me into the series) 6#- mass destruction (first when I was there for the premiere, but still not that good in my standards but the animation was pretty) 7#-- heartbeat(not that good)
My personal ranking is quite different from most people 1. Episode 3 (Literally a near perfect episode. The fight scenes are great, the writing and characters are arguably the best in the show. Doll reached her peak in this episode) 2. Episode 6 (The episode which got me hooked into the show. Solid S tier episode, and still watch it frequently. Tessa had the spotlight in this episode) 3. Episode 7 (Ultimately, this episode was worth the wait and while I have a few issues with it, it doesn’t detract too much from what the entire episode has to offer; with the much needed flashback scenes, to doll’s death SCENE, and the Cynessa reveal) 4. Episode 5 (I genuinely don’t understand the hate with this episode. I’ve always enjoyed it and after understanding the events of the episode, it was always a fun watch. The characters in this episode were one of the best they’ve ever been) 5. Episode 4 (While the episode is more slow paced, Solver Uzi is pretty cool, and the soundtrack is very good. As for the narrative, it could been better, but it’s not the worst by any means) 6. Episode 1 (This one can easily switch places with episode 4 depending on the mood I’m in. It does a solid job as a pilot episode, and while I get a show is supposed to be setting its footing here, the plot points in this episode go nowhere. The characters aren’t the best we’ve seen, but N definitely gets some points for killing worker drones. 7. Episode 8 (Good animation and fight scenes do not make a good finale. The only character who got justice was V, except it doesn’t even make sense why she came back. Most of the characters in this episode besides Cyn, had no serious nor outstanding moments other than the fight scenes. I couldn’t describe how disappointed I was after watching this finale and it forever changed my opinion of the show. I was so unbelievably frustrated) 8. Episode 2 (Finally, this one I watch the least of, but could see it going up as high as number 6 depending on my mood. The episode isn’t worse than episode 8, but not much happened in this episode besides the characters getting introduced to the absolute solver) Like I said, mine is super controversial and i would love to hear you guys opinions
Actually kinda agree with you on Absolute ends placement, I feel like the only reason why it ranks at a 5 for me is cuz its carried by its god tier animation and music, other than that it's nothing Spectacular
My list 1. EPISODE 7 (I think this episode was balanced, this and ep 3 can switch places. It had lore because of the flashbacks and probably more, good music, good action, decent pacing, kinda skeptical about the character interactions though) 2. EPISODE 3 (PEAK, good pacing, good action, good music, good character interactions, though idk if the lore lacked). 3. EPISODE 5 (This MAY be a hot take but I do think EP 5 is a good episode, the pacing may be slow, but the music and the interactions of the characters make it entertaining enough, it also has a relaxing atmosphere. I ❤ the gala music, the episode had lots of lore. I think Uzi could have been managed better in the episode, and the action kinda lacked.) 4. EPISODE 8 (The last episode of the series, EPISODE 8 could have been the second or FIRST if it had more lore and a Khori flashback/post core collapse. Asides that, the animation is definitely the best of the series, the action amazing, the music godly, the choreography of the fights so GOOD) 5. EPISODE 6 (This is the episode I have least seen, idk why, the Sentinels and Alice were great antagonists of the episode, V's "sacrifice" honorable). 6. EPISODE 1(A decent introduction to the series, I loved the movie-like start of the episode, I can't say that much since it's the first episode) 7. EPISODE 2 (Not THAT bad, but definitely the most forgettable episode on the series. Its a meh introduction to the ABSOLUTESOLVER. I do believe that Eldritch J had a horror potential, not like the jealous solver grape). 8. EPISODE 4 (Personally, I just DISLIKE this episode, EP 2 and EP 4 can switch their places. The only good part of this episode is Solver Uzi, the other ones were meh... The pacing was slow and not that entertaining, it lacked contribution to the plot other than the keybug and most important, they killed Braidon 💔)
I've been a fan of Murder Drones since episode 1 and a fan of GLITCH since the Meta Runner days so I think it might be fun to give my own perspective 8. Home: Don't get me wrong, I really like this episode but it suffers from being part 1 of a 4 part episode, and when it can take months between releases it can sour your opinion if things. But it did properly introduce us to Cyn. 7. PILOT: When this episode was first being teased, I thought of it as the thing between Meta Runner season 2 and 3, but when it actually released I was blown away. I know it's weird to say now, but the animation was amazing for the time, and if course, this was when the world got introduced to N. Some of the stuff in this episode hasn't aged the best, the animation can be stiff at times, some of the comedy can be tedious, even though this is one of my favorites comedy-wise, and also, this pilot was definitely pitching an entirely different show that was leaning more Attack on Titan, but this is definitely still an amazing episode that still holds up. 6. Heartbeat: I'm not much of a "kids these days" person, but I think it's funny how people complain about the couple month long wait times between Murder Drones episodes or the 6 month wait for Digital Circus episode 2 when we had to wait over A WHOLE YEAR for Murder Drones episode 2. But when it came out I was so ready for it. I would largely divide Murder Drones into action, comedy, and horror, and episode 2 is probably the episode with the largest emphasis on horror, which means it's always a good time to go back to. 5. Dead End: I think this episode kinda has the same problem as Toy Story 3 where all anyone talks about is the ending to the point it overshadows everything else it had going for it. But what we do have is quite solid. My favorite part isn't really anything anyone talks about when discussing this episode, even beyond the ending, what I like most about this episode is the tension it puts on N and Uzi's relationship that Uzi doesn't even know about. Aside from that, Alice and the sentinels makes for fun villains, Beau is an absolute trooper, and this is the episode that's second in the horror aspect. (As a quick tangent, because this is the episode that released before the Digital Circus pilot. A lot of Murder Drones fans seem to hold contempt for DC but I literally don't see why. Maybe it's just because I know Murder Drones didn't kill Meta Runner, but I never saw DC as competition for MD. Before DC came out the MD pilot sat at around 20 mil views for quite a while, but now it's at around 50 million views. Idk, just wanted to get my thoughts out there) 4. The Promening: Believe it or not, I was really dreading this episode before it came out because I generally do not like romance subplots between the female and male leads. But this episode was such a godsend that it made me instantly fall in love with the ship. Other than that, what can I say? It's THE Promening, this episode's a classic for a reason. It also has my favorite joke in the series, that being Doll's "as they say in Russian" bit. 3. Cabin Fever: This was the episode where Kevin Temmer got added as lead animator over the series, and it clearly shows. Besides the animation, this is where we got a real introduction to the Absolute Solver. Sure, this episode may play fast and loose with the lives of Worker Drones, but I actually like how the show plays the fact that most of them are really just fodder. This is also when the teacher went from just being one of my favorite side characters to one of my favorite characters in general. And it also made me ship V and Lizzy, so there's that. 2. Mass Destruction: Honestly, every episode in this show feels batshit crazy when it first comes out, but this one still feels insane to watch. They manage to cram so much into such little time but it still allowed all its big moments to hit. And, oh yes, get snuck upon. 1. Absolute End: Understand that this is not recency bias talking, it's just that good. This the THE episode I had the least faith in, I didn't expect it to be able to follow up on episode 7 much less the whole show, but everything this episode does is absolute peaks. And also Bite Me is a freaking banger and I can't think of a better song for the final battle.
Some thing s you bring up here are really fitting for my opinion. I also really like episode 8 cuz its just a great finale. And I noticed the hazbin songs in the background (hopefully im not wrong). Great vid
Absolute End is my Absolute favorite! And it's not just because V came back and N yelled "That's my girlfriend" 🥺 that line is just so cute!!... anyway I do really wish they had of done something different with J and like with you I really wanted a Khan and Nori scene that wasn't just a joke (it was funny though) and y'know I'm still very salty about how they treated Doll 😭 so disrespectful..but over all I say absolute end is a 9.7/10 💛💜
My Ranking 8. Ep2 heartbeat 7. Ep5 home 6. Ep4 Cabin Fever 5. Ep 1 Pilot 4. Ep 6 Dead End 🥉 Ep 7 Mass Destruction 🥈 Ep 3 The Promening 👑 Ep 8 Absolute End
I think that The Promening is my favourite episode. That's when the animation becomes GREAT. I also love Cabin Fever, because that's when the Solver finally controls Uzi. So that'll be at Two. I think I'd put Mass Destruction at third. Cynessa is the most terrifying part of the whole show, honestly. You can see her skin rotting, and her legs look like crumpled pants that she couldn't put on properly. I would put Absolute End at fifth, honestly. The fight scene was probably the weak point. But I loved the horror, especially the callback ping scene. I don't know why, but the fight scene didn't match the energy of the Nightcore music. Whenever Uzi was running, it felt VERY slow. The V and J fight was better, honestly. Also, is that Lo-Fi Hazbin Hotel in the background?
I do wish for a better explanation for Js character. Why she sided with Cyn? ( my theory was that J was hopeless. Like J lost hope and sided with Cyn because there was no winning against her?) Also more of Cyns plans? Why was the spire important? Did Cyn/ Solver just want to destroy everything? It did say it was the “exponential end” so there's that I guess
My List is 8: Home [Ep5] (The biggest flaw is Uzi existing in the mansion) 7: Heartbeat [Ep2] (both are the only weak eps, they also can be switched) 6: Pilot [Ep1] (Its a really good introduction but every ep from here makes it better) 5: Dead End [Ep6] (The sacrifice of Serial Designation V hit really well especially V being my favorite character, but the rest was more mid) 4: Absolute End [Ep8] (The end Liam went works good but there were other ways which would have worked even better. From all main characters everyone survives except Doll and Tessa in a show called Murder Drones) 3: Cabin Fever [Ep4] (The fight scene at the end with V and Solver Uzi is good. The rest was also really good and out of all episodes its the most enjoyable to watch. I can't tell what it is) 2: The Promening [Ep3] (Doll and V are peak in this episode. Its just that ep7 hits even better) 1: Mass Destruction [Episode 7] (Everything is just perfect)
Nice video. Me personally, I rank them like this: 1: Pilot Yea, I know it has its problems and flaws, but it more than makes up for them with it good writing, funny one liners and best characterization of the main cast. I personally loved how it portrayed, V, B, Uzi and even J for that matter. Heck, even Khan and the teacher were really good in it too. But by far the reason why I still rank this episode #1 is because it's the only one to do the railgun right. I'll never understand why Liam wanted to get rid of it. It made Uzi a badass more than her Solver powers ever did. Other than the shoddy animation errors and some concepts that were cut in later episodes, this episode really holds up. A 8/10 for me. 2: Dead End This episode just really does a great job of making great use of its runtime. Very little of it is filler. Not to mention the concepts that Ep 6 presented were really good. I wanted to see N having to choose between Uzi and the universe. I wanted to see Nori being this not so good mom of Uzi's past where she realizes she too is going down the same dark path and could end up being used as the Solver's new host. But no... Ep 7 and 8 just pretends they don't exist anyway. Ugh, what a waste. -.- Nevertheless, I give this episode a 7.5/10 Very entertaining overall and by far one of the best episode when it comes to plot elements. I just wish the series had done something with them is all. 3: Mass Destruction If there is one thing this episode did do right was showing the flashbacks of how dark N's past was on Earth. Even Nori's past was Yeva was decent, even if it could have been better utilized. That and the setup at the end of Ep 7 was great, from Thad and Lizzy getting ready to fight J to Uzi sacrificing herself \for N's sake. Too bad Ep 8 had to complete botch that up entirely though, but I digress. And that's not even taken into account Doll being wasted as a villain and the abysmal Cyn being Tessa in disguise(Yea, I'm never letting that one go. A garbage plot twist. One of the worst in the series, if not THE WORST. All and all, the episode really was good. A very flawed episode, but a good one nonetheless. An easy 7.2.10 4: The Promening While I admit this episode is definitely one of the better ones, the payoffs to it was one of the worst. Doll was a great villain here and then she wasn't again unless you count Ep 6 when she did those two things, which I sort of do, but yea, this episode had such a great set up, only to have it lead to nothing. Doll as Uzi's rival was a waste. Doll possibly trying to get Uzi on her side? Never happens. Worse yet, we never saw what was in the other two landing pods with J and Tessa. Seriously what was in them anyway? So much intrigue completely wasted. Anyway, to give this episode credit, I did love seeing the characters in their prom outfits, especially V. That red dress looked smoking hot on her, but again, I digress. ^^; The fight scene between Uzi, N and Doll was great too. By far one of the best fight scenes. Had the setups this episode introduced actually had a great payoff, this could easily been #2 or #3, but because the payoffs were nonexistent, it drops to #4. A 7/10 for me. 5: Absolute End Next to Cabin Fever, this episode is massively a mixed bag IMHO. Some parts were great. The music, animation, final battle, V's return. Even the ending was cute in some places. But when it comes to that satisfying finale of the series? Yea, no, it did not deliver. So many story elements were never explained or resolved. They're just dropped abruptly. Not to mention it had way too many cringe moments. Uzi saying her dad was right about the doors and calling N and V weirdly hot robots was like, "Um... I'm sorry, what?" And that's not even taking into account J couldn't even get a decent payoff as a villain. I was fine with her never being redeemable, but could Liam not have let J have ONE shining moment in the show? Why does he hate her so much that she's just there for others to abuse and treat as a joke? I just don't get it... Lastly, Cyn and Uzi merging? Yea, I found that completely idiotic. There was no reason for that at all. Cyn should have died or at least been gone for the time being, not being there to pester Uzi as her tail. -.- A 6.7/10 for me. An episode that was great in some areas, but so lackluster in others. A real shame 6: Cabin Fever. By far the most mixed episode of the eight. I really enjoyed the setting, Solver Uzi and even some of the new characters like Emily. But its setup to this episode is just so painfully forced. Why does everyone treat Uzi like she's more scary than N and V? I mean, those two broke into Khan's colony and killed a bunch of worker drones. Shouldn't the students be more scared of them than Uzi? I know Uzi is considered a freak and all, but the level of fear they show her is just really baffling. Before Uzi turned the arrow into a fleshy creature, she did nothing worthy of their fear, let alone disrespect. The only thing I will give this episode is the heartwarming scene between N and Uzi at the end of it. It was really sweet seeing N comfort Uzi and make her realize he truly cared about in spite of everything. Granted, he should have been more firm about her not killing, but once again, I digress. ^^; A 6.5/10 episode for me 7: Heartbeat. While not a bad episode by any means, it's by far the most forgettable. The only scenes that stand out is the Eldritch J fight, Uzi's classroom antics and the solver saying ow to N stabbing it. Heck, I'll even give points for the teacher playing solitaire during Khan's rant. but other than that, this episode is just boring. It does nothing interesting with Thad, V is really pretty much an afterthought in it. Worst yet, it destroys the railgun pointlessly and is replaced by the Solver which is not as interesting to me. Uzi doesn't even her weapon fire once! Seriously, that is just so disrespectful of one of the best elements of the pilot. I'll never understand why Liam did this. It made zero sense. A 6/10 8: Home Yea, screw this episode! It has not gotten better, but worse with time. Uzi hijacks it and takes away valuable screen time from N and V. Doll gets a pointless tug of war scene with Uzi that was completely lame, if not pointless. The jokes for the most sucked with only a couple being decent. Tessa, as good of a character as she was in Ep 5, was completely screwed over by Ep 7's terrible plot twist. Heck, even J gets disrespected in it in a sense because we never see J showing that same care for Tessa on Copper 9, which made zero sense. I mean, it should have at least been addressed why J doesn't care about Tessa anymore. But no, never mentioned once. And then we get to the pacing. My goodness, was the pacing horrendous. Even Absolute End had better pacing than this train wreck. Everything near the end happened so fast and abruptly. It's like nobody really thought out the last five minutes and were just like, "Welp, got to wrap it up, so uh... this all happens because I said so! Don't question it, ok?! -.- While the other episodes had their flaws, this is the only that needed a complete rewrite. It was THAT BAD. Tessa, Cyn and J, as good as they were in it could not save this disgrace of an episode. A 4/10 and even that's being generous to it.
My list would go: 1. Mass Destruction 2. Cabin Fever 3. Dead End 4. Absolute End 5. The Promening 6. Heartbeat 7. Pilot 8. Home I really love the top 2. Canin fever has a wonderful asthetic and cool premise. But wasn't executed the best. And Mass Destruction had a good plot and strong reveal with Uzi becoming "solvered."
My list 8. Heartbeat 7. Home (please don’t kill me Yagsterr) 6. Absolute End 5. Dead End 4. Pilot 3. Mass Destruction 2. Cabin Fever (I don’t know why this episode gets a lot of hate) 1. Promening
Nice ranking 👍. Murder Drones episode 8 (Absolute End) has been out for about a week and a half now, so I've had some time to think about my rankings of the episodes. Just like you said in the video, I also don't hate any of the episodes, every episode has something or multiple things that I liked about it, I just think that some of them are better than the others. So here's my ranking, 1. Mass Destruction (Episode 7) 2. Dead End (Episode 6) 3. The Promening (Episode 3) 4. Absolute End (Episode 8) 5. Home (Episode 5) (I don't care what Yagsterr says) 6. Pilot (Episode 1) 7. Cabin Fever (Episode 4) 8. Heartbeat (Episode 2) A little side thing I wanna say about episodes 2, 7, and 8 that don't have to do with the ranking is that I really loved the way they did the horror in those episodes. I love Murder Drones so much 🖤💛🩶🤍💜.
My most favourites to least favourites :D 1. Pilot 2. The Promening 3. Heartbeat 4. Intermission 5. Home 6. Mass Destruction 7. Absolute End 8. Dead End 9. Cabin Fever
Blanter Dang if being based as hell was a job: He’d be fucking rich. Short. Sweet. Usually to the point. That’s the Blanter Dang way and I’m absolutely (heh) here for it.
I honestly find it hard to rank. 3 6 7 and 8 are straight up *up* there. Though I personally like to consider 7 and 8 a two in one with how they were initially meant to be released.
my top eight i might be in the wrong fandom 1) absolute end 2) cabin fever 3) mass destruction 4) the prom i can’t remember the rest of the title 5) dead end 6) pilot 7) home 8) heartbeat I love shows and video games with a good soundtrack and a good fight scene here and there That is my ranking of the episodes
I was late to the party but here is my personal top 1.mass destruction 2.absolute end 3.the promising one (somewhat overrated in my opinion) 4.dead end 5.intermission 6.home 7.the pilot 8.cabin fever (my favorite for some reason) 9.heartbeat
My ranking and brief reasonings are 3 (Nuzi and doll), 1 (N gets to murder everyone and amazing soundtrack) 6 (Eternal dream) 5 (Cyn is the best) 4 (it should have been N murdering everyone) 8 (it has many flaws and it missed out on many things because it was so fast paced but Cyn was very silly and it was overall pretty decent) 2 (I almost forgot about this episode) 8 (i really didn’t like the Tessa Cyn reveal and it’s my least favorite overall but J did some cool stuff at the end)
Here's my ranking 1. Cabin Fever (Ik its not as strong as other episodes in terms of lore but there's just something i love about this episode so much, prorably the style. And ofc fact that Braidon and Sam were in it) 2. Mass Destruction (Better then Absolute End imo) 3. Promening (Such a great episode) 4. Absolute End (Good finale but could have been even better) 5. Dead End (Overrated imo but its cool episode) 6. Pilot (Underrated and great beginning of serie imo) 7. Home (I actually don't hate this episode, its pretty good imo) 8. Heartbeat (Mid, almost nothing would have changed if you removed this episode from serie)
My ranking : 8. EPISODE 5 - HOME : 7.2/10 Let's start with the positives. This episode has a deep lore , that's it. And the jokes on this episode are awful , if theres a comedy school subject , the creator of Murder Drones Episode 5 would fail. This episode is okay and not as good. 7. EPISODE 4 - CABIN FEVER : 7.4/10 I know that so many people like this episode , but this one is just not for me , i'm sorry. N on this episode is kind of... well at least they have the best V. I think i'm just too confused when Uzi become an antagonist at this episode. 6. EPISODE 2 - HEARTBEAT : 7.5/10 Ok , where did i start ? This is also not my type like Episode 4 too , this episode had only one goal and it's to introduce how scary Cyn really is. I mean if they only introduce Cyn , they can just make this episode 5 minutes. 5. EPISODE 1 : PILOT : 7.5/10 I kinda' like this Pilot , while i'm not liking it that much , that's why i'm still keep watching Helluva Boss , even after MD episode 2 , until episode 3 i'm stop watching Helluva Boss and start my marathon on Murder Drones. But it's another "not my type" for a start of a series. 4. EPISODE 7 - MASS DESTRUCTION : 8.3/10 Now this one slaps , But the Top 3 untill 1 is still better. This one is great , but there are some flaws. Doll doesn't deserve to die , the Cynessa twist is confusing but also terrifying , Ma'am Doorman being alive is...but the whole episode is good. 3. EPISODE 8 - ABSOLUTE END : 9/10 This episode is actually amazing. They made Cyn actually terrifying on this one , and the Nightcore final battle scene , everything is perfect except for... It's fast phased , i don't know the f*ck is happening that i have to rewatch it 5x so i can understand what is happening. And that's it actually...the whole finale is f*cking amazing and also kind of hillarious sometimes. 2. EPISODE 3 - THE PROMMENING : 9.3/10 I don't know what to say about this Episode it's perfect like our Number 1 spot. It's a bit terrifying , the jokes are well made , The trio is great , idk what to say , this episode is perfect in any way possible. 1. EPISODE 6 - DEAD END : 9.4/10 My thoughts about this episode is the same like my thoughts on episode 3 , it's perfect. It's peak Murder Drones. I can't even think a word about this episode than the word "perfect". V's sacrifice is amazing. While ruined by episode 8 , let's just agree it's one of the best scenes of Murder Drones. It also has a good joke.
I respect your episode ranking my dude, it’s pretty based. even though I’m not a huge fan of the finale, it’s been growing on me. (Like you said it’s still 10/10) I only had three issues with it that keeps me from saying it’s #1. Otherwise pretty based ranking. 🤙
N wasnt uzi's lapdog in ep 4, and V wasnt right at all lol, first of all, V never told N why she wanted to kill uzi, imagine someone tries to kill your crush and when you ask them why, they dont tell you, what r u just gonna let them do it?????, 2nd of all, uzi tried to kill V and N sided With Uzi which is understandable cuz V tried to kill uzi first, all uzi did is self defense, and lastly N didnt care about uzi killing people is cuz he knows she was overheating and he himself killed people for the sake of the company
V was in the right uzi was literally killing people? Even if she shouldve told him, uzi was still killing people, and N didnt just brush it off, he joked about it, which is crazy after seeing someone kill their classmates for no reason, and he still, after seeing all that, defends uzi and pretends she can do no wrong. He definitely was Uzi’s lapdog here. Obviously V shouldve said something, not defending that. Though V was 100% right that something needed to be done about uzi.
@@blanterdang6112 V literally killed an innocent worker drone for fun in that same episode and was overall being a menace to the other worker drones both in episode 3 and 4, she wasn't exactly being harmless or a "saint that does no wrong" either. Also, Uzi was not killing her classmates for no reason and it wasn't her fault, the commenter said it themselves, she was going out of control because of the solver taking over for the lack of oil, and taking into account her behaviour, it's not that crazy to think that both V and N knew that (especially V since she didn't loose her memories), if that wasn't the case he wouldn't have said "baby steps, together?". I get that N joking is insensitive and I agree that he should have been more fearful in some shape or form, but considering again, as the commenter said, that N and V have been killing worker drones with no mercy and sometimes using unnecessary violence (V) for most likely years, and that N was being kept in the dark and had no memory of what the AS even was or what it could do, that makes N's reaction somewhat justified, since he sympathizes with her (because she was not being herself) and tells her to just not go as far as he did ("just avoid another whole spire"). And even though V was indeed coming from a place of fear and trauma and overall just doing her duty to protect themselves, that dosen't excuse her actions or undermines the complexity of the situation at hand (killing Uzi, an innocent person that happens to be born with a dangerous "sickness", to fulfill your duty and save you (most likely not) from imminent danger, or to not do it and to find another solution), which dosen't make her character bad, she just had a different opinion on what should be done and thought that killing uzi was the only way, opinion that clearly changed over time until we get to episode 6 and onwards where she fully switches sides with the main cast to defeat cyn and dosen't try or want to kill Uzi anymore. What I'm trying to say is that even tho I can understand where V is coming from, she is NOT 100% in the right for trying to kill Uzi and N being her "lapdog", undermines the complexity of the situation and ALL of the opinions and points of view of the characters involved, and ignores V's: - Past: Committing genocide and torturing, which is far worse than killing a few classmates while being in a dark place and not yourself, making N's reaction justified since he still dosen't understand what is going on with Uzi yet (V will not tell him) and his intentions to help her work it out coming from a place of heart. Even if she was putting up a front to cope and was just following orders, that (again) is just something to understand, not to justify the facts, and was just HER point of view and what SHE was going through, not what was absolutely 100% in the right, and how she was going about it wasn't helping her case either. - Present (from eps 4 POV): Still doing said killing while also trying to kill someone when they are doing the exact same thing, and even tho that's what she thought was the right thing to do at the time, the survival thing most likely only applies to N, V and J, so knowing how cyn/solver operates, they still have to kill every single drone left on copper 9 (if it even leaves them any) after killing Uzi and still die in the end if she dosen't need them anymore, and is more convenient considering she can just clone them whenever she wants and N and V are under Uzis "control". And remember that N defends Uzi in that scene BEFORE she goes into a killing spree while also being completely in the dark about what is wrong, so from HIS point of view, V is trying to kill someone very dear to him that is clearly just as scared and confused as he is, while also not telling him anything to make him take her side or at least understand what she's going through to the point of hurting him (cutting his head in ep 3) and trying to commit mass murder for no reason (also ep 3), making her a complete hypocrite. If I was N, at that point I would also be frustrated with V. And again, V still dosen't tell him why Uzi's dangerous and must be killed even after Uzi's under control, why must he change his behaviour now when nobody gives him a reason to? He was just working with what he had and stood for. I know N still dosen't change his mind when he does find out, but I'm talking about the consequences IN the moment. - Future: V changes her mind and realises that killing Uzi is not the way to go or at least trusts her enough to not succumb to it and switches sides to defeat the real threat and reason for all of their problems. I'm leaving it short because most of my points ended in other paragraphs and I don't want to repeat myself. I know that I'm using the "point of view" thing a lot but i'm kind of tired of how one sided the takes feel, especially considering how most people use the scene of N defending Uzi as the main visual or argument to prove their point even though I feel like the situacion is more grey than they give it credit for. Sorry for the long rant but I tried to cover as many points as possible to put my opinion across :'b

I'm fine with your opinion dude. Your right episode 8 is my favorite too on number one top. People can disagree with me, but that's ok. Your opinion is safe with me.
Well, here are my ranking: (NOTE: All of the episodes are great. Some are just weaker than others) 1. Mass destruction 2. Absolute End 3. The promering 4. Dead end 5. Pilot 6. Heartbeat 7. Cabin fever 8. Home I might consider switching 2nd and 3rd place with eachother. I began to find some weak things about episode 8. Its still great but it had a lot things that i wanted to see but we just did not get it.
@@blanterdang6112 I started to realise that this episode has its flaws after watching vanity's review on it. Im still debating on if this episode still holds up to being my personal 2nd favorite in the series. For now it is but it might change honestly
I agree that ep 8 had the best fight scenes, most enjoyable, was very terrifying too, and even satisfied the. Nuzi shippers (partially, including me), however no one on this planet can say it’s the best written
My only real issue with episode 8 is how the ending felt rushed and pretty abrupt. Could have used about 5 more minutes to explain what everyone was doing in the aftermath of the Cyn fight. Other than that, definitely a top 3 for me.
If i had to rank the episodes I'd probably go by how much i enjoy rewatching them so in that case Episode 5 would come in last as although it gives some good backstory and puts some of the pieces together i don't find there is a reason to rewatch it after those first few watches and although there are some highligts such as cyn being a little goober and the interactions between n v j and tessa i usually just skip it After that I'd probably rank episode 2 as although I tend to watch this one usually its just to get to ep 3 mainly because this one just feels really slow until the end fight although it does got some good parts such as the end fight and all the hologram tricks that go on not just with the characters in the show but also to the audience too and the scene with uzi v and n in the ship is pretty good Third worst id probably put episode 4 as the start and end to the episodes are good but i find the parts from when uzi splits off to where she gets controlled by the solver a bit of a drag as besides finding the key bug really nothing happens but the end where uzi kills everyone and the v fight is pretty good and the start where n and v are revealed to be the camp leaders is pretty funny as well as the cyn tease of her wearing tessas skin i really like The pilot i would place next as i think it is quite good and it does a good job introducing most of the characters and sets up the world (by the view of the worker drones at the time) which i quite like and personally I dont find it that cringe or the animation to be noticeably worse although the part where lizzys hands detach from her body i do find funny, i do think the start of the episode is kinda slow but it does serve an important purpose so i don't mind that much and the hallway scene with n and the later fight are good and the episode being the longest is definitely a plus After the pilot id put episode 6 although these 2 can definitely switch with around as i don't really like the whole thing with alice and beau as they feel just a way to slow the protagonists down although i do like the connection between alice and nori and the whole solver starting to take over uzi i find pretty good as well as the reveal of the destruction of earth and the end with v's sacrifice although I do wish that there was a bit more growth between uzi and v before it but it also does make sense that in what she was thinking would be her end that she would fully express her feelings about being on uzis side and fully dropping her psychotic side 3rd place i would place episode 3 as it really is the episode to intoduce both doll and the solver power and the mini revenge plot both makes sense and is entertaining to both watch and piece together as the episode goes on and the fight scene is one of the best with it syncing to the music and the unexpected comedic end to it in fact the whole episode from the prom scene to the end is just peak as well as we first see the impact the solver has on uzi with her tasting the oil as well as how it shows doll is not purley evil and as a bonus this episode has one of if not my favorite lines in the series Second place would be episode 7 as both the fight scene and cyn reveal are great and it ends on a good cliffhanger although I do agree dolls death could of been better and j could of done more not just in thid but episode 6 as well although I do really like the earth flashback in this episode and i wish they expanded more on that as that was probably one of my favorite aspects of this episode also the flashbacks to nori ams yeva and the humans was quite good and it also revealed the truth about the core collapse and put together more pieces of the full timeline And finally first place has to go to episode 8 (although there may be and probably is some recency bias) just everything in this episode is grea from the animation to the fights to the music where most episodes have 1 standout track this episode has 3 and thr way it flows with the fights is great and the fights themselves are also great especially the final one although it ends kinda suddenly it does make sense and also the characters are great in this episode with the return of v and cyn being both creepy and silly and this episode pretty much single handedly boosting her to be my second favorite character and although some people think j was done dirty personally I dont mind how she didn't switch sides as it makes sense with how her character acted in both the pilot and episode 5 as being very indoctrinated into the company and stuff like that although i do agree she should of had more screen time as besides that (relatively) short fight with v she doesn't do much else (also is she dead or is that her fixing the ship in the credits) Ik this comment is long af but if you couldn't tell i quite like this show and i am both sad to see it go and happy it went out with a bang instead of getting milked to death although i would love to see them do some mini episodes like prequels or smth such as what happened from episode 5 to the drones arriving on earth or even before that as well as how the hell lizzy and v became friends
I kinda don’t agree with 8 on top of the list, from my point of view it’s a solid episode but a horrible finale. Cyn was built up as te final villain the destroyer of earth and they kill her so easily? There’s also a lot of unexplained stuff, it was short and kinda a let down personally i think episode 8 shouldn’t be higher than 3(not the episode) as an EPISODE but as a finale it doesn’t give a satisfying conclusion…

@@The_D.Jllama id probably put intermission around the level of episodes 3 and 4. Gone up slightly more I think of it
I honestly don’t understand the dislike behind heartbeat.
Episode 7 I love so much
Episode 6 is my third favorite, because I got into the show either a few weeks after episode 3 or 4 released, and I first started interacting with the fandom after episode 6 released because I watched MatPats vid, and then Yag’s debunking vid, which is when I started getting into the fandom.
Episode 8 is my fourth favorite, it’s amazing but still flawed and if it had 5 or 10 extra minutes for more emotional character moments and for the pacing to slow down its ranking would increase to #2 or maybe even #1.

1. Episode 3 (Literally a near perfect episode. The fight scenes are great, the writing and characters are arguably the best in the show. Doll reached her peak in this episode)
2. Episode 6 (The episode which got me hooked into the show. Solid S tier episode, and still watch it frequently. Tessa had the spotlight in this episode)
3. Episode 7 (Ultimately, this episode was worth the wait and while I have a few issues with it, it doesn’t detract too much from what the entire episode has to offer; with the much needed flashback scenes, to doll’s death SCENE, and the Cynessa reveal)
4. Episode 5 (I genuinely don’t understand the hate with this episode. I’ve always enjoyed it and after understanding the events of the episode, it was always a fun watch. The characters in this episode were one of the best they’ve ever been)
5. Episode 4 (While the episode is more slow paced, Solver Uzi is pretty cool, and the soundtrack is very good. As for the narrative, it could been better, but it’s not the worst by any means)
I was so unbelievably frustrated)
8. Episode 2 (Finally, this one I watch the least of, but could see it going up as high as number 6 depending on my mood. The episode isn’t worse than episode 8, but not much happened in this episode besides the characters getting introduced to the absolute solver)

4. EPISODE 8 (The last episode of the series, EPISODE 8 could have been the second or FIRST if it had more lore and a Khori flashback/post core collapse. Asides that, the animation is definitely the best of the series, the action amazing, the music godly, the choreography of the fights so GOOD)
5. EPISODE 6 (This is the episode I have least seen, idk why, the Sentinels and Alice were great antagonists of the episode, V's "sacrifice" honorable).
6. EPISODE 1(A decent introduction to the series, I loved the movie-like start of the episode, I can't say that much since it's the first episode)

I've been a fan of Murder Drones since episode 1 and a fan of GLITCH since the Meta Runner days so I think it might be fun to give my own perspective
Idk, just wanted to get my thoughts out there)

Like J lost hope and sided with Cyn because there was no winning against her?)
Also more of Cyns plans? Why was the spire important? Did Cyn/ Solver just want to destroy everything? It did say it was the “exponential end” so there's that I guess

2: The Promening [Ep3] (Doll and V are peak in this episode. Its just that ep7 hits even better)
1: Mass Destruction [Episode 7] (Everything is just perfect)
I disagree with a few things but overall pretty valid list 👍
Nice video. Me personally, I rank them like this:
1: Pilot
Yea, I know it has its problems and flaws, but it more than makes up for them with it good writing, funny one liners and best characterization of the main cast.
2: Dead End
This episode just really does a great job of making great use of its runtime. -.-
Nevertheless, I give this episode a 7.5/10 Very entertaining overall and by far one of the best episode when it comes to plot elements. I just wish the series had done something with them is all.
3: Mass Destruction
If there is one thing this episode did do right was showing the flashbacks of how dark N's past was on Earth.
An easy 7.2.10
4: The Promening
While I admit this episode is definitely one of the better ones, the payoffs to it was one of the worst.
5: Absolute End
Next to Cabin Fever, this episode is massively a mixed bag IMHO. I'm sorry, what?"
And that's not even taking into account J couldn't even get a decent payoff as a villain.
A real shame
6: Cabin Fever.
^^; A 6.5/10 episode for me
7: Heartbeat.
A 6/10
8: Home
Yea, screw this episode!
While the other episodes had their flaws, this is the only that needed a complete rewrite. It was THAT BAD. Tessa, Cyn and J, as good as they were in it could not save this disgrace of an episode. A 4/10 and even that's being generous to it.
My list would go:
1. Mass Destruction
2. Cabin Fever
3. Dead End
4. Absolute End
5. The Promening
6. Heartbeat

I really love the top 2. Canin fever has a wonderful asthetic and cool premise. But wasn't executed the best. And Mass Destruction had a good plot and strong reveal with Uzi becoming "solvered."

So here's my ranking,
1. Mass Destruction (Episode 7)
2. Dead End (Episode 6)
3. The Promening (Episode 3)
4. Absolute End (Episode 8)
5. Home (Episode 5) (I don't care what Yagsterr says)
6. Pilot (Episode 1)
7. Cabin Fever (Episode 4)
8. Heartbeat (Episode 2)
A little side thing I wanna say about episodes 2, 7, and 8 that don't have to do with the ranking is that I really loved the way they did the horror in those episodes.
I love Murder Drones so much 🖤💛🩶🤍💜.

List is pretty similiar to how I would rank. Expect for Absolute end which would be near the bottom, that episode has so many problems.
What absolute ends the best
Here's my ranking
1. Cabin Fever (Ik its not as strong as other episodes in terms of lore but there's just something i love about this episode so much, prorably the style. And ofc fact that Braidon and Sam were in it)
2. Mass Destruction (Better then Absolute End imo)
3. Promening (Such a great episode)
4. Absolute End (Good finale but could have been even better)
5. Dead End (Overrated imo but its cool episode)
6. Pilot (Underrated and great beginning of serie imo)

My ranking :

2 Mass Destruction
3 The Promening
4 Cabin Fever

7 PILOT
8 Heartbeat
My ranking :
8. EPISODE 5 - HOME : 7.2/10
Let's start with the positives. This episode has a deep lore , that's it. And the jokes on this episode are awful , if theres a comedy school subject , the creator of Murder Drones Episode 5 would fail. This episode is okay and not as good.
7. EPISODE 4 - CABIN FEVER : 7.4/10
I know that so many people like this episode , but this one is just not for me , i'm sorry. N on this episode is kind of... well at least they have the best V. I think i'm just too confused when Uzi become an antagonist at this episode.
6. EPISODE 2 - HEARTBEAT : 7.5/10
Ok , where did i start ? This is also not my type like Episode 4 too , this episode had only one goal and it's to introduce how scary Cyn really is. I mean if they only introduce Cyn , they can just make this episode 5 minutes.
5. EPISODE 1 : PILOT : 7.5/10
I kinda' like this Pilot , while i'm not liking it that much , that's why i'm still keep watching Helluva Boss , even after MD episode 2 , until episode 3 i'm stop watching Helluva Boss and start my marathon on Murder Drones. But it's another "not my type" for a start of a series.
4. EPISODE 7 - MASS DESTRUCTION : 8.3/10
Now this one slaps , But the Top 3 untill 1 is still better. This one is great , but there are some flaws. Doll doesn't deserve to die , the Cynessa twist is confusing but also terrifying , Ma'am Doorman being alive is...but the whole episode is good.
3. EPISODE 8 - ABSOLUTE END : 9/10
This episode is actually amazing.
2. EPISODE 3 - THE PROMMENING : 9.3/10
I don't know what to say about this Episode it's perfect like our Number 1 spot. It's a bit terrifying , the jokes are well made , The trio is great , idk what to say , this episode is perfect in any way possible.
1. EPISODE 6 - DEAD END : 9.4/10
My thoughts about this episode is the same like my thoughts on episode 3 , it's perfect.
(Like you said it’s still 10/10)
I only had three issues with it that keeps me from saying it’s #1. Otherwise pretty based ranking. 🤙
Putting episode 3 in the latter half is a war crime
@@King_0f_Frost ik im sorry its still a 10/10
N wasnt uzi's lapdog in ep 4, and V wasnt right at all lol, first of all, V never told N why she wanted to kill uzi, imagine someone tries to kill your crush and when you ask them why, they dont tell you, what r u just gonna let them do it?????, 2nd of all, uzi tried to kill V and N sided With Uzi which is understandable cuz V tried to kill uzi first, all uzi did is self defense, and lastly N didnt care about uzi killing people is cuz he knows she was overheating and he himself killed people for the sake of the company
What I'm trying to say is that even tho I can understand where V is coming from, she is NOT 100% in the right for trying to kill Uzi and N being her "lapdog", undermines the complexity of the situation and ALL of the opinions and points of view of the characters involved, and ignores V's:
- Past: Committing genocide and torturing, which is far worse than killing a few classmates while being in a dark place and not yourself, making N's reaction justified since he still dosen't understand what is going on with Uzi yet (V will not tell him) and his intentions to help her work it out coming from a place of heart.
- Future: V changes her mind and realises that killing Uzi is not the way to go or at least trusts her enough to not
succumb to it and switches sides to defeat the real threat and reason for all of their problems.

If i had to rank the episodes I'd probably go by how much i enjoy rewatching them so in that case
Episode 5 would come in last as although it gives some good backstory and puts some of the pieces together i don't find there is a reason to rewatch it after those first few watches and although there are some highligts such as cyn being a little goober and the interactions between n v j and tessa i usually just skip it
After that I'd probably rank episode 2 as although I tend to watch this one usually its just to get to ep 3 mainly because this one just feels really slow until the end fight although it does got some good parts such as the end fight and all the hologram tricks that go on not just with the characters in the show but also to the audience too and the scene with uzi v and n in the ship is pretty good
Third worst id probably put episode 4 as the start and end to the episodes are good but i find the parts from when uzi splits off to where she gets controlled by the solver a bit of a drag as besides finding the key bug really nothing happens but the end where uzi kills everyone and the v fight is pretty good and the start where n and v are revealed to be the camp leaders is pretty funny as well as the cyn tease of her wearing tessas skin i really like
The pilot i would place next as i think it is quite good and it does a good job introducing most of the characters and sets up the world (by the view of the worker drones at the time) which i quite like and personally I dont find it that cringe or the animation to be noticeably worse although the part where lizzys hands detach from her body i do find funny, i do think the start of the episode is kinda slow but it does serve an important purpose so i don't mind that much and the hallway scene with n and the later fight are good and the episode being the longest is definitely a plus
After the pilot id put episode 6 although these 2 can definitely switch with around as i don't really like the whole thing with alice and beau as they feel just a way to slow the protagonists down although i do like the connection between alice and nori and the whole solver starting to take over uzi i find pretty good as well as the reveal of the destruction of earth and the end with v's sacrifice although I do wish that there was a bit more growth between uzi and v before it but it also does make sense that in what she was thinking would be her end that she would fully express her feelings about being on uzis side and fully dropping her psychotic side
3rd place i would place episode 3 as it really is the episode to intoduce both doll and the solver power and the mini revenge plot both makes sense and is entertaining to both watch and piece together as the episode goes on and the fight scene is one of the best with it syncing to the music and the unexpected comedic end to it in fact the whole episode from the prom scene to the end is just peak as well as we first see the impact the solver has on uzi with her tasting the oil as well as how it shows doll is not purley evil and as a bonus this episode has one of if not my favorite lines in the series
Second place would be episode 7 as both the fight scene and cyn reveal are great and it ends on a good cliffhanger although I do agree dolls death could of been better and j could of done more not just in thid but episode 6 as well although I do really like the earth flashback in this episode and i wish they expanded more on that as that was probably one of my favorite aspects of this episode also the flashbacks to nori ams yeva and the humans was quite good and it also revealed the truth about the core collapse and put together more pieces of the full timeline
And finally first place has to go to episode 8 (although there may be and probably is some recency bias) just everything in this episode is grea from the animation to the fights to the music where most episodes have 1 standout track this episode has 3 and thr way it flows with the fights is great and the fights themselves are also great especially the final one although it ends kinda suddenly it does make sense and also the characters are great in this episode with the return of v and cyn being both creepy and silly and this episode pretty much single handedly boosting her to be my second favorite character and although some people think j was done dirty personally I dont mind how she didn't switch sides as it makes sense with how her character acted in both the pilot and episode 5 as being very indoctrinated into the company and stuff like that although i do agree she should of had more screen time as besides that (relatively) short fight with v she doesn't do much else (also is she dead or is that her fixing the ship in the credits)
Ik this comment is long af but if you couldn't tell i quite like this show and i am both sad to see it go and happy it went out with a bang instead of getting milked to death although i would love to see them do some mini episodes like prequels or smth such as what happened from episode 5 to the drones arriving on earth or even before that as well as how the hell lizzy and v became friends
W list
I kinda don’t agree with 8 on top of the list, from my point of view it’s a solid episode but a horrible finale. Cyn was built up as te final villain the destroyer of earth and they kill her so easily? There’s also a lot of unexplained stuff, it was short and kinda a let down personally i think episode 8 shouldn’t be higher than 3(not the episode) as an EPISODE but as a finale it doesn’t give a satisfying conclusion…
