Hypocrisy involves some kind of inconsistency or contradiction in our lives. And unless we have never contradicted ourselves in speech, thought, or action then we are guilty of it like everyone else. In Matthew 23, Jesus rebukes the religious leaders of His day for their hypocrisy. Seven times He calls them “hypocrites” and challenges them about their inconsistent lives. We all have room to be challenged in our own lives about any hypocrisy toward others, within self, or toward God in today’s study entitled, “Don’t Be a Hypocrite.”

This is such a powerful teaching wow
Wonderful wonderful timely teaching! God bless and enlarge your territory for speaking the truth in love!! GUILTY..... and ......redeemed! Thank Jesus!!!
Excellent message. What an eye opener.
GOD I praise and honor you and my LORD AND MY SAVIOR❤
I didn’t know that Matthew was crucified, I thought that was Paul. I was also hoping to find a fuller meaning to ‘woe’. I was recently drawn, in my own quiet time to verse 13 of this chapter. Of the Pharisees not allowing others to come to Jesus. My daughter and her new husband and x-husband have told their 8 year old daughter that she doesn’t have to think about ‘religion’ until she is older. But I know that she wants to love God, she use to pray and loved music about God loving us. It is so sad. If anyone here understands this please pray for my granddaughter and the ‘parents’ that rule her life. We are seeking to shine Gods love to her when she comes here. We have been banned from saying too much, but she knows we love God too. ❤
I hope you disobey the direction not to pray with your grand daughter. That is not of God. Be pure as a dove...but cunning...
Amen. Our lives cannot be the standard, however. It is only on Jesus' righteousness we stand. No matter how much we try we will fall short and others will judge. This will not absolve them of their responsibility to seek the truth.
I appreciate the way you handled the accusations to that leader. It was not an easy situation.
I listened many times to that leader & his teachings were enlightening. I decided to separate the leader from the preaching.
Lord help me, I am guilty of all these.
Amen!!

Hello CORNERSTONE CHAPEL, Do you provide online bible study..? I am interested and am listening from Papua New Guinea up orth from Australia in the beautiful Pacific Islands..
Amen but judge righteously
17:15 hmm typical of that “kind” of man. And they rule the world in this day and age. Says a lot.
Do you judge others??? But ignore your own sins ??
Guilty also
Guilty as charged
Anyone who claims they have not is a liar.
Matthew 7:3-4
3 “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 4 How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye?
