Hey Rob, thanks for sharing these video's. I just stumbled upon your Nodcasts at a time I'm trying to get clean and sober for the third time, but this time feels different, now I'm really doing it for myself, no more lies, no more bullshit. It's hard but I'm hangin in there. Keep on doing what you do cause it means alot to me and I guess alot of other people. Thanks, Glenn from the Netherlands
Just wanted to say thanks for making this. Ive been thru the fucking gutter and back from waking up under a foot bridge next to the Charles by Mass General to where I am today and with out BFB S&S Ramallah Id be fucking lost. The music has always a been like a lantern in the dark for me and lyrics have always let me know that we dont go through the fucking sick ride alone. So thanks Brotha from one masshole to another.
Rob you are one of the greatest story tellers/song writers the world has ever seen. Thank you again for doing what you do. I lost my uncle recently and your videos and music has made coping much easier. Thank you from one of the Wasted Youth Crew
when i was 15 or 16 i saw blood for blood in chico ca. rob came out and said, i dont know how i'm alive tonight. I ate 17 vicodine last night. ... and they were on tour with a xxx band. so there was a fight every song.
What a great episode man! Enjoy the stories and the acoustic music on the front and back of the "nodcast". I can relate to your story about that dude following you around in the liquor store. We were in the "tourist" part of Boston for New England Metal Fest and every place we went into they treated us like a bunch of peasant heads. I know we all looked rough tattoos, sleeveless shirts, but we were all being polite and just having a good time. Anyways, the looks we were getting, the way we were treated at most bars/restaurants made me cringe. Everywhere just added gratituty to our tab instead of being a good bartender where we would have tipped them 20% +. I had a bad taste in my mouth about Boston after our time there until I was in South Boston, which felt more like a big city I was used too (Detroit / Phoenix). We were in a liquor store and my buddy was explaining how he paid $7 for a pack of zig zags in RI where we landed. The guy was like, "Oh my....... My condolences to you" and just gave us the pack of Zig Zags for free. LOL. Then I got kicked out half way through TERROR and didn't even get to see BLOOD FOR BLOOD. On my way back to Phoenix some rude ignorant asshole cut in front of me at the airport and I blew up on him. What a vacation of hell, sorry for fucking rambling but I got on a tangent and already typed it so I'm going to post now....
Damn man! That brought out a whole different side to Livin In Exile! I always thought Blood For Blood was better than the Beatles! This just proves it! Suck it Ringo!
I've seen all types of hustles, from stealing from Walmart, returning it for a gift card then selling the gift card for cash at the pumps to selling rental cars and then calling it stolen hours later to cover your ass just to score a 50 of brown. I've down stupid things that I regret but I never hurt anyone, I was what they call a functioning junky. Great nodcast Rob, thank you.
i havent watched all the nodcasts, has Rob talked about what happened to buddah after that incident? is that dude in jail, is rob still talking to him, how serious was that incident?
God dammit I could listen to you talk forever. By the way I'm kinda upset with my 19 year old daughter for stealing the hoodie I bought from you in Clifton park at a benifit show. I was gonna by the 3x you had at the rahmalla show at the qe2 in Albany. I hope all is well Rob. Your music will always be in my playlist. You're a hardcore poet m friend
