GRAMMA KATHY HERE, SENDING BUGS HUGS TO ALL!
I love that pumpkin cat
Shine a UV light on that Fenton glass!
That Art (the real thing) was a commercial advertising Coke with a song it was very popular. It was in the 70s.
Yes the glass crash sound is disheartening. Took some glass items that I wrapped to my local and also had some cement patio umbrella stands that we all know weigh close to 49 lbs. Was trying to tell the curbside drop off worker “you don’t want to throw these into the carts with the the other merch”. Before I could get out “you don’t”…… ‘smash/bang/boom went all the stuff that I had so carefully packed for others to enjoy! 😢. It was a weekend and they were overwhelmed. I get that but those who are accepting donations outside need to realize that not everything they are receiving is not junk. Now when I deliver anything I give specific details about what’s what. I felt bad for whoever had to go thru that bin and might have sliced their hand open on said items. I now always try to go on a week day when it’s not so busy and they have time to process what I’m saying and dropping off. Don’t anyone “at” me about their hiring practices, workers, etc. I have supported their mission for years and understand that. I get that they are busy and short handed. I can’t save the world, my husband says this to me repeatedly, but have been trying since a teen. I’m now in my mid 60’s. Thx for letting me vent a little and definitely keep up the Great resale/recycle work and excellent finds!
Thank you for saving as many things as you can from destruction, the bins, and becoming more trash. I loved the watercolor of the willow tree.
HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY 💗 Jocelyn, Andrew, Ashton, Juliette, Laurel and Hanky Panky.
I liked that signed painting with the tree that you put back. It was really beautiful.
That was gorgeous!
Me too! I totally would have bought that for myself 😂
I love the floral frog
Right around 19:21 you were looking at the elephant blanket, then scanned by a framed picture of 3 horses running framed in an embossed (probably plastic) white frame. I had that exact one as a child in my bedroom, and if I was with you I would have Immediately bought it because I really loved it. Somehow it got lost or donated over my multitude of moves as the kid of a military father.
I found you during Covid and have been watching everyday since I found you. I love your videos.
Same😁
Same. She was panicking on how to create content with pending lock-downs but managed through it all by cleaning her own death pile (3rd floor spare room), doing house tours and buying from friends. Oh how her business has grown in short years and through a difficult period at that.
My mom had that vanity set late 60’s, she got it at the green stamp redemption center!!
Hey, the square covered bee dish is Tiara Glass by Indiana Glass, came in several different colors- home party company. I sold in the 70s.
You are very knowledgeable about collectibles and valuable items. I have learned a lot from you. Thank you.
I love the little Inuit man in his sledge
The print of the girl with bird, was a real find.
The lovely elegant white opalescent dish in the Northwood Fine Cut & Roses pattern.
Love when you talk to the merchandise!
Nice fines! The bee and honey candy dish I believe is either Indiana Glass or home interiors glass (vintage). If it is Indiana- you could get upwards of $100+. Another thing to keep in mind is your stellar reputation. Because of this, you have customers who are willing to pay more knowing they can trust you and your great sense of what is truly an awesome find!
Everything that has missed stopper can be used as a perfect vase for flowers. Or as I'm an artist so I use all interesting shaped bottles, jars and dishes even damaged for painting.
That stone figurine at around 0:39 is an Inuit piece & very valuable!
Yes, I saw that and gasped!! Love it!!!
Love the color of the flower frog!
That's what I was going to say, can get a little money for it
Yes saw that 2 I have the bigger one.
I also love the white opalescent dish,it does have something elegance to it..those are the right words.😊🤍
I really enjoy your videos Jocelyn, love thrift shopping with you.
Same Jocelyn is lovely 🌸🌺
All I gotta say is You have better things to pick through then we do here! I watch all of your vlogs…very interesting!
Love the antique floral frog!
I loved the cobalt blue basket that you passed on. I would have bought it. I love cobalt blue items. I decorate with it. Just a small piece can make a space look elegant.
That was my fav!
I would have grabbed it too. Very beautiful and I love blue glass.
It was stunning!! Blue glass is always such an eye-catching thing!
Me too‼🌹💙
Oooooooo I LOVE that flower frog ❤😊
The honey bee item was sold by Tiara in the 80’s. I’ve got 2 of them. I use 1 as a q tip holder. My mom used it for honey!
The green T. rex made me laugh too. Also loved the bee and hive blue lidded glass dish. Fun shopping at the antique mall 😊
I admire you dedication to the hunt and for the ability to stay focused and not fill your buggy with things to take home for you. Such discipline! I always have things follow me home I love but don’t need…or have room for
While I am in our Goodwills I hear people really complaining about how prices have increased. I was taking a dish down from the top shelf and a man offered to help me. He saw the price a threw a hissy fit, telling me not to purchase with such prices.
The teal bottle is a gorgeous color.
Wow! That's the 2nd time I've seen you walk past vtg Poole pottery. It's in the beginning of your video at the antique store. The red & turquoise blue nicely glazed tall vase. Those colors & designs were made in the 1960's in England. Just thought you might want to know....happy shopping
I love their pieces.
Oh my goodness, that vanity set was exactly like mine when I was a little girl, brings back memories
I had that set also. Wish I knew where it is now
Lol we have a booth in our antique mall that is always 50% off. First time I saw I was excited! Bought a bunch of stuff😅Went back a couple months later and it was still 50%… awe marketing 😂 well played sir.
But I still get really good stuff out of that booth. Owner doesn’t seem to look stuff up if it’s not his/her thing. Recently got a Josef figurine that was $10 at half of $5 and flipped it to $45 as well as a chalkware bird the same price that I sold for $75.
But I still giggle at my foolishness the first time I saw 50% 😂
Loved the gator. Glad you got him TFS
I had a great day today! I went thrifting then came home to watch you go thrifting 😊 Love any and all Fenton ❤
Love that shop! I saw lots of frogs, lol. The one you picked up at the end, was adorable. Thanks for letting us look with you!
I love the two tall bottles, the ones without the stopper. You can always put a cork in them, they were so pretty and would look nice in a window.
Love Becky's booth. That tidbit plate with the bird was so beautiful.
Happy Valentines day
Always Cool strolling through the shops with you, Jocelyn. The frog had a chip on his lip Lol.
Love your videos 🌸🌸 the blue tiara glass bee box is a candy dish, Indiana Glass Co. I know made them, not sure if any other company made them as well. 12 dollars is a fantastic deal. I get them when I see them. But the T Rex OMG!!! I love him 😍
I am a retired librarian and am happy that you have great Great Expectations. 📖
Hahaha. I forgot to count.
Just finished reading Great Expectations last night.
I love your videos! I'm new to this and find your videos really helpful
Happy Valentine's Day
I love tagging along with you when you shop Jocelyn. Thank you for another enjoyable, retail therapy trip.
Does that Fenton custard glass vase glow under the black light?
I think you did fairly great at Middletown. I would try listing the 2 Pottery Barn vases together. They are perfect shape and colors for spring/Easter.
The beehive glass dish is by Tiara glass...black, deep amethyst are usually strong sellers.
I love the Artesania Rinconada. I never thought it would happen my mom and I were out birding and stopped at the grocery and saw a consignment shop and I saw figurines in the window. I almost walked away saying it’s overpriced it’s a rich neighborhood and there I spied a Artesania Rinconada Ram 🐏 I thought I was mistaken or it would be crazy priced but I got him for $8 he is my birth month Aries. I also found a spaghetti poodle with a boo boo ear I don’t know enough about them but he was $5 I can tell it’s not Japan made I’d say vintage fine white spaghetti’s open mouth and gold collar but honestly just made me think of one of your videos finding all those spaghetti poodles 😂
I love your videos!!! You're the best!! I have a tiger table my mom gave me. I looked it up and it's worth over 1000.00 🧐 I so enjoy your site!! Thank you so very much for sharing. Much Love 🤗🌹🌷❣️
I would’ve got that elephant blanket so beautiful
Take a drink every time Jocelyn says Jerry Becker...and now I need another drink. Don't mind if I do!🍷🍸🍻🥂
Haha
@TeresaBaeber217….and when she says in a low voice with a giggle “Oh Boy”
It has a bird on it. Drink lol
Lol
HILARIOUS! 😃🤗
The first thing you picked up was actually made of volcanic ash, I think..🤔 FANTASTIC price on the Fenton! When GW pulls their old tag merchandise they throw away the glass. It's because they can't ship it without breaking it.
Your viedos are so much fun to watch. Enjoy seeing what you find. I never seem to have the luck you have with the wonderful beautiful finds. So I'll just continue to watch your adventures. Thank you for making the viedos and sharing your finds.
The beehive box is Tiara. I've seen them in several colors and that one is gorgeous 😊
I thought I saw a chip on it but love it nonetheless.
Happy Valentines Day. You recouped and saved the day at the second store. Nice picks. Thank you
Loved the blue bee and hive box, the dish with the bird. You always fond great items, would love to go shopping with you. Have a wonderful evening. 💜😊🦊🦉
The alligator is fantastic! ❤❤❤❤
Those Inuit black stone carvings can sometimes go for good money
not that one it is a tourist souvenir
What a great Walk-through. You always find the best deals. Please Stay Safe Happy and Healthy Have A Wonderful Day
The one with the honey and the bee is tiara from back in late seventies or early eighties. I bought a gold one light blue and purple one. I love them
Love your videos. So fun and educational.
Thank you so much for all your great contents l always look forward to see your program.
Very very nice ! 🌹👍❤️🙏😊👵🏻. Very pleasing to the eyes and makes cooking foods for loved ones a joyful experience 🧇🌭🥓🍔🥙🧆🌮🍕🍗🍖🦴🥪🫓🥗🫔🌯🌮🥘🫕🥫🫙🍝🍜🦪🥟🍱🍣🍛🍲🍤🍙🍚🍘🍥🥠🍦🍨🍧🍡🍢🥮🥧🧁🍰🎂🍮🍭🌰🍪🍩🍿🍫🍬🥜🫘🍯🥛🍼🧋🥤🧃🍵☕️🫖🍶🍺🍻🥂🍷🥃🧉🍹🍸🌈
That milk glass vase would look awesome with a tea light inside. I have a milk glass decanter with a blue glass lid, looks awesome lit up! Loved the elephant too! Hope everyone is back to good health! Happy Valentines Day to everyone!💕❤️
The elephant quilt is indeed from India. The running stitch quilt technique is known as Kantha, and there are some good videos on how women make these pieces.
How interesting!! TFS!
The cute blueish covered dish with bee's is Tiara glass. I thrifted one too and sold it on WhatNot for around $30. Very cute piece! They made it in pink too! :)
You are the Queen of Quirky & I share your title! Great video.
Some eskimo Inuit carving are very expensive. Check this Eskimo figurine next time if is still there
The frog vase!!!
Fun shopping with you!
Love the Elephant blanket at 19:00!
It is difficult to part with some art work or glass work or Still - Life Paintings. ....you come across...... you found them!!!
Love your videos!! You are a sweet person!! I love seeing what you find at the goodwill!! You are a sweet amazing person!! Much love!! 🥰🥰💙💙❤️❤️🌺🌺🦋🦋💖💖💕💕😊😊🥰🥰
That beanie looks cute on you!
Someone had a taste for the oriental with those tiebacks. Gorgeouse. I would've been all over those for my own use. Don't see them much anymore.
Hi Jocelyn! If you go back to this goodwill could you check to see if the angel cheeks figurine is still there? I took a pic but i dont know how to add it lol. It is right at the beggining next to the blue paperweight on the right. Look at the 40 second mark
The sunflowers are back in the front seat 😂 and then they’re gone again 😮
Oh snap…those small Japan dishes. Those would have come home with me
Great finds today … thanks for taking ALL of us along 💚
Love the Kantha with the elephants. I just love kanthas
If I ever found a Fenton piece at my local goodwill I'd probably faint and break it. 🤦
Lol.🤪
My mom found a big pink Fenton bowl in a hat box at a yard sale one time that she paid 25 cents for.. at auction it brought $900!
@@just__jess2 holy crap
Kathy, same.
I've been lucky enough to score Fenton a few times and Blenko too.
Ty, Jocelyn!❤❤❤
The plastic homeco wall pocket is to put scissors in
that soapstone carving could be an Inuit soapstone carving. I could not tell what the sticker said since they had the price tag right over it. If hand-carved in Canada by an Inuit artist, it could be worth over $200
Have you ever thought of the irony of you, as a picker, picking from other pickers. Hahaha I kill me!
They get their money, she gets hers. Plus, they get free advertising.😉
Aren’t some of the Inuit carvings worth good money?
They are very precious....yes...worth very good money!
So may be worth checking them out when they come up at Goodwill etc - maybe it will still be there on the next visit, although like anything that is worth money maybe it was just a poor imitation/ tourist piece what I saw was at 8:54
I have that same bee candy dish in purple!
Did you check out the small orange tajine? I remember seeing some individual ones at a fancy dinner.
Love watching your videos. You make it so much fun and i learn so much. May i ask what app you look up the cost of items? Ty
HAPPY valentine's to you and ANDREW and the kids from Trinidad
The Nativity from this video was a Bon-Ton exclusive. I've sold it before in its original boxes. the 3 wise men was a box, Mary Joseph and Jesus one, animals one. each box set sells for around $50 they didn't make it for long so its somewhat desirable.
That bee candy dush needs bit o honey candy in it.
You definitely could've sold that stunning decanter jar w/o the lid.😢
I wish you checked behind the red floor vase. The item looked pretty.
California faience is a score! They were made in the Bay Area in 30-40’s. The tiles sell for good money!
Thanks for the video love a lot that you picked out but vase. at the end at. Goodwill was a beautiful vase anyway thanks for the video I enjoyed it and I will catch you on the next one
