I did not ever price things at my booth in the flea market. I wanted people to engage with me. I could then price a great price and start a conversation. I made alot of long time customers because of this. I always gave great prices or just gave it to them. I always feel that it is my job to find the treasures new home.Pros and cons to each way of doing things. I love dealing with people face to face.
I've been a seller for over 20 years. I never price my stuff because sometime people won't buy from your booth because they think you're not willing to negotiate on the prices.
I find you can often get really good prices from unpriced booths. But sometimes they are overpriced too. I usually grab a couple things and then ask :) often the more you are buying the better the prices are.
@@pennydaytreasures8173 yes we call it bundling. Because I can get things pretty cheap because I know where to go I can sell to people who are resellers for a fair price so we both are able to make a good profit. It's the name of the game.
I hate when Jeffrey cuts her off!! It happens often….. I wish she would do her own videos 😆 And talks her out of buying things, he talked her out of the pink swung vase for $12 & turned around and bought an amber exact same for $12!!! Stop Jeffrey!! Barb, do you!!!! ⭐️⭐️
@@kimmeryann2808 she talks herself out of her purchases most times because she refuses to make up her mind about whether or not she wants it and then has buyer remorse if she doesn't. I was really surprised about how much she bought at the Ohio annual antique fair. She and Jeffrey were cleaning George the antique nomad out on one table.
@@doriwilson6991 not just this video - but all the time he cuts her off, walks away or interrupts her. If she don’t mind who am I to judge. I hate when he does it tho LOL
I miss doing what you guys are doing, my husband and I did it a long time ago, and I loved it! But sad to say I had to let a lot go in my estate auction….for nothing! Was so upset, but it all had to go. Now I can reminisce thru you all.
A cozy flea market! The show stopper was the Czechoslovakian glass fruit lamp 😮. Scott sold one last year. You found excellent Lithos! And the bourbon decanter is fab!!♥️🐩
@@Brabronacus Agreed! I love your username. In high school I would always buy a pack of Hostess donuts at lunch. My friend Greg would see the residue of powdered sugar on my black pants. He would always give me a good insult and laugh.😂
22:33 That stand made my mouth fall open...so beautiful! I think that would have been my purchase of the day...not big on swung vases, blow molds, die cuts or swans but that was so lovely. 😊 Thanks for the video, it looked like you both had a lot of fun.
I think you’re talking about a scavenger hunt. So neat seeing all the beautiful finds. That was an exceptional price for the green vase Barb was wanting, Jocelyn has been showing all the vases that are large like that one going for two, three, four hundred dollars, and some even more! ✌🏼❤️
I can’t believe how much those Viking Fairy Lamps are going for now. I bought one at an estate sale for $8 10 years ago and I was going to collect the rest of them but never got around to it. I doubt that I can now! Mine actually came with an owl candle inside that looked just like the lamp but it was so hot that it melted by the time that I got home. I was not happy.
Jeffrey I love the flamingos I have Flamingo mirrors, Art Deco art and figurines, Murano flamingos and a extra large Flamingo rug. Thats my living room, you would love it. Lv.
I amwatching your video on tv whete you are talking about your migrain. My m-i-l taught me a trick....put your feet in water as warm as you can stand. Don't get rid of your gall bladder. Take a tablespoon of olive oil with fresh lemon several times a day...a GOOD olive oil@
Great price on the Fenton. The brooches @27:24 are not micro just mosaic. Micros are usually found in scenery pictures or dogs etc. When you look it up you'll see what a huge difference it is.
A can of high gloss spray would have made George's flamingos sparkle you know! And I think it would have worked even with the mat soft colors! Oh well.-wonder if he sold them?! Those were lovely pieces you showed us! Thanks!
21:12 time stamp. OMGoddess.. that's the picture I picked up at a thrift store and I have been looking up info on it every where and couldn't find anything. The one I found for $5 is a little bigger and in a different frame. I keep telling myself, I bet Jeffrey would know. I all so picked up another 9ne with it for $5 all so. Ty so much!
Scavenger Hunt. I like it better, when the vendors set prices instead of trying to figure the value, while the buyer is standing there and then the seller wants to sell, like they are in a real antique store. I like George but I think $75 for that green vase that Barb wanted ,was extremely high.
Watching you looking at the weiner dog planters and saw a Delicato family cellars sign in the background. I worked there for 14 years. Great family owned company.
That was Amazing thank you! You could spend a small fortune there. I've never seen such a great Flea Market. I've been to ones all over the West Coast, but none with so much great glass.
I have seen the "Hot dog dresser caddies" used by a kitchen sink to hold soap and a sponge in the back so the water can drip outa the holes in the bottom.
Wow a lot of beautiful glass. I also saw blow molds, looking for blow mold candle sticks. prefer red candle with Noel and white flame, I don't know if you take special request for items. but if you find them at a decent price please let me know. Thank you
I love all the glass . You did amazing at this extravaganza. I live in Ohio and unfortunately missed out. Now I wish I would have. Also loved Bards finds. So many names to remember and I'm horrible at remembering names. LOL
I can't believe you found that sputnik bottle. I pick them up at estate sales. People don't know what they have. Whiskey came in it. It sells for about 90.00!! But mine always had the original stamps.
I hope to be there next year. Will you have a booth or would you rather just shop? I have been looking forward to watching this sale. You were the first. Thank you!
I encourage everyone to share Jeffery's video. Its a great one, your friend will enjoy it too 🎉
Jeffery, this is one of my very favorite videos! Wonderful glass and ❤Barb too !!! Thanks
The vintage tv antenna looks like a sculpture - very nice!!
I love George.. don’t you just love George?? He is the nicest person ever.
Completely AGREE!
Not so.old ,Jeffery . Our TV had that type of indoor antenna!!
The type dad put foil on to get the Ballgames. 😂
Fun video, love u and Barb!!! Thank you !
The glass owl that Barb picked up was stunning!

I hate people who don't have prices on merchandise. Don't like to ask.
I always think they are sizing me up as to how much I can pay. Hate it.

I think in 2023 I would like to take a road trip there I LOVE LOVE flea markets. Probably go broke too...LOL
This was a great one! Loved it!! 😊
Yes, one of my favorites
Yes, there are so many beautiful glass pieces.
It makes it hard to choose.
Cute Barb and all her Christmas.
She keeps Christmas alive all year.
That's the biggest haul I've ever seen Barb buy. You go girl!!
I know I was very surprised. Usually I get annoyed with her cheapness.
I love Barbs intelligent thoughtful buying style.

Wow! That's a fantastic flea market, thanks for the ride along!

I agree. That lamp was my favorite thing out of all of the Springfield videos I've seen.

George has a great booth.
Waiting patiently Jeffrey for your video. Enjoyed watching and learning about certain pieces. Your a good teacher Jeffrey, always enjoy watching you👍
I have that tall green vase and it is wonderful for displaying Gladiolus. 😊
Looks like you all had such a good time. Loved that Czech glass fruit basket!!
WAs that for $795.00?

Love Jeffrey and barb they're great together
"I won't even touch it" followed by nervous laughter had me lol! Nerve racking just looking 😬
At 9:42 the glass and gold plastic piece is one my Mom had in the sixties. She put colored water in it.
Don’t pet the flamingos lol
That blue stretched glass was absolutely beautiful!
“You’re pretty faded you stupid pumpkin!” Hahahah I’m so glad I found this channel 😂 👏 🎃

You skipped Barb in the intro, lol. Great finds.
Jeffrey,
I am waiting patiently for you and Misty to come out to my house. I am excited
I love the glass mushroom in George’s booth. 🍄

Loved all the glass you got, but the one that looked like a lava lamp without the lava.
AWESOME finds. I'd be broke half way through!
You are making me like the small Christmas trees
Beautiful things you guys got
Jeffrey I enjoyed seeing all the wonderful goodies, you & Barb scored some beautiful 🤩 glass🥰
Jewelry sells very good!!! You should dabble a little more!!
Would be nice to see the dolls as well 🙂
what a great price George gave Barb in that green swung vases. I passed on a blue one just like it for $125.
Thank you that was alot of fun, have a most wonderful day
That was fun to watch and yall found some really nice stuff.
I think that horn thing was a muffle for a trumpet or other brass instrument.
Great trip. Awesome finds. Barb did good!! How can u not buy buy buy!!❤🦩🦩

In the 80’s michaels sold the clay cookie molds to use in a make your own paper casting craze.
I have both mermaids that go together. Love them..
Great video. Glad you bought the brass flamingo-hope it was for you. ❤️
I am a collector, not buying to sell - if a booth is not priced I skip it - there are many that are priced.
You found amazing bargains Jeffrey! Gosh what fun!
Really enjoyed shopping with you today!

Hi. Deb from Ontario Canada 🇨🇦. Loved this video. All the beautiful glass. ❤️❤️❤️
I would purchase those flamingos over pink ones. Just my style. 🙂
Great video and the brass flamingo is perfect for you!
