Thanks Malcolm for yet another great informative video. Love it when I love new things about gardening even though I've been at it myself for 40yrs. Really getting into the propagating lark now so your 'seed' section was much appreciated! Keep them coming!
Malcolm I cannot get over what you've accomplished with this property in such a short time. I remember the first time you took us there; it's a touch of paradise now.

Just saw your post about autumn, today being Nov 21st we have had snow here in Dorset I live about 12 miles from barthelemys we had about 3inches of the white stuff they say the temperatures will be back to 60degrees by Saturday. Made me feel much more positive looking at your lovely garden.
Thank you for a great video as usual. In NYS it has been months with no rain so things look depressed and there are starting to be fires. I would never plant that Pokeweed plant. It is a terrible weed here with an evil root. Once in a while the hostas plant a new one. They always seem to be blue. Enjoy your turning. I feel sad in fall for a little while too but just like you I get busy cleaning things up and think forward. The plant I will give away is Golden Alexander which has no redeeming features for me. No pollinators visited it, it is big and ugly. I look forward to your next video already!💚💚💚
Yet another great video from you Malcolm, I loved the wood platter, you should sell them. I hope to see you again in the spring. All the best. For 2025
Thank you Malcom love all areas of the landscape. Bet that tree looks wonderful dressed in blossom. Love to you and yours. God bless and have a great Christmas if you don't make an appearance before then.
the caterpiller looks like a Fox moth caterpillar great to see you again Malcolm. Love the rain, I always fancied rainy days. Merry Christmas if I don't hear from you before then. Wallabies v England at Twickers tomorrow. You can rest and watch that. Dogs looking well and in command 😂. Apples lovely. Garden looking Brilliant Re those glasses, if you look like a pervert in the house, imagine what they're thinking outside if you're wandering at large? 😅 I quite like them. Very John Lennon
Thanks for sharing again! Going to try the bulbs in the grass. Might have to leave grass extra long in the Spring. Why do the dogs love poop? Mine eat the horse poo all the time and rub in chicken poo. 🙄😅

@@cew9837 because it can split or break off…..think of a log. If you try and chop it sideways on (most bowls are turned side on) it’s just about impossible….when you put it on its end the axe will slid through following the grain of the tree….so it can be quite troublesome and chunks can fly off especially in thinner pieces like this platter…..however I felt is was so hard and a piece it would be ok…..it’s been in a woodshed for over 50 years so it’s well seasoned. Hope that makes sense. Best wishes….Malcolm
@plantsmanscorner128 thanks Malcolm... I've got some logs at the back of the lottie but since it floods I keep them as an amazing fungus bank! All the blokes think I'm mad .. but I find them fascinating.

Yours turnings are so beautiful. I remember the ship you showed a couple of years ago. Please let us see it again. The detail was astonishing.

Why is the end grain dangerous??
