This piece is so poetic and Sangah’s interpretation of it is just very melodic. To me, it reads like a sad romantic novel set in a beautiful European country side; and perhaps it could have been something akin especially when Chopin wrote these pieces while he was living in George Sand’s manor. I think this is what I read. I also thought it was a requested piece to be played along at his own funeral as well with the the famous Funeral March that is so phenomenal. Poetic & melancholic, yes indeed, and Sangah made it even more so dignified and deeply meaningful. Thank you, Sangah! 🎹❤️🎹
I remember the first time I heard this beautiful Chopin piece - I was nine years old and it actually made me cry which had never ever happened before. This piece as tenderly played by Sangah proves that music is sometimes beyond words. I can say however that listening to Sangah play it so movingly captures the soul and uniqueness that was Chopin. Beyond words, beyond words, beyond....
That´s is one of the reason why I understand you as unique. Versatility, elegance, creativity, respect for the audience. This is Sangah N. Thank you for this beautiful perform. (p.s. Chopin loved it)
It is obvious You can play all kinds of music, with talent, passion and love... Your performance is great and perfect.. This prelude of Chopin is so uplifting and touching... Anyhow, your music always conveys emotion.. I feel like flying to the stars... ⭐🌟🌠 Dear Sangah, this December is the most Beautiful ever, thanks to your Wonderful dayly Gifts.. All my Love and gratitude, for the Best pianist I know ! Please, take care and keep safe ! I want to know You healthy and happy, as you deserve it. God Be with You and with everyone ! 🙏😇💞💐💞😇🙏
I have woken up somewhat nostalgic for the cold, and as if you knew it, you have interpreted beautifully and with wishes for renewed Life to the music of one of the most transparent souls with his feelings. You always surprise with your gift to us. Thank you very much Sangah Noona! have a happy Tuesday! ❤
The most beautiful thing I heard today besides your early Morricone songs this morning on Twitch. Thank you Sangah. Your performance is truly beautiful! ❤️❤️❤️👏👏6-15-21
I don't know if it was the soothing firelight, the dissonant melancholic melody, or watching your nimble fingers delicately dancing on the keys....but this was simply mesmerizing.
Oh I love this piece! Chopin with a beautiful improvisation from the best pianist in my book. I remembered the moment I heard you played this piece once during a live stream. Oh wow! I know you can do all genres, Sangah. That left hand is played so exquisitely and the melody so sublime. The melody a bit more than half way through the song is so romantic and touching. What Chopin would have wanted! Beautiful! ❤️🎹❤️🎹❤️👏👏👏
I am not a classical music expert so there is not much that I can write about this performance that has not already been stated from someone else.... outside of .... If you touch it, then it always sounds good.
It’s perfect because I listen to classical music each morning after waking up. You made it. I love the scale run from about 3:40. Knowing Chopin’s stronger pieces, he would have loved Sangah’s interpretation at about 4:00 to close the song out. No doubt! Sangah’s improvisation is a genius! Gorgeous! Bravo! 👏❤️. Thank you!!!
🎼The modesty of a pianist who always claims not to be a "classical pianist". Think if she had been! 😉😁Congratulations, Sangah Noona: you are perfect in whatever you play !!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Sangah, that was beautiful. Chopin is my favourite composer of piano music and you more than did that piece justice with your improvisation. Three months ago my wife of 53 years passed away. Your channel, the beautiful music you play,, is one thing that helps me at this most, difficult of times. Thank you, thank you..
♥️ Looks to me that 'someone' here is (re)discovering her way through the classics, what a touching execution, totally distinct feeling when compared with the usual repertoire! Thank you! 👏👏👏♥️
This is one of my favourite piece that I have been playing in last 30 years. You opened a new world to me that such prelude is so much impressive with your style of improvisation / arrangement. Do keep this up. This give us a whole new experience of music journey. Again, you are so much talented that Keep me following your musical work with fun and surprise. BTW, I am a big fan of Beatles. Hope to see more on this from you. Greeting from Hong Kong
Good morning, Sangah and Bubuji! Day 29 of the Sangah Noona December to Remember, and it's the last Tuesday two-fer as I am simultaneously watching you live on Twitch. It's been a special bonus for this month. However, as the famous saying goes, "All You Need is Less." We shall adjust accordingly, and we shall persevere. Less FIG JAM could be the silver lining of all this. I'm just saying. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
You did choose right that, among a few first classical pieces that you challenged yourself with, and among billions classical pieces. Another confirmation we are so alike in our deepest way to experiment and feel music, although we are so different in any other aspect. I know you covered that because you ... profoundly needed to “own” it. And, your satisfaction is also mine.
Sangah, I have a few Chopin-like Waltzes that you can try. (I'm inviting, not soliciting.) I think they mix in well with his, so that you have a bit of melancholy, then something that is a bit brighter. Both have their place.
Sangah ... I just bought an SK6 !!!!!!!!!!! ... Can you tell me the model names of the range of microphones you're using here? Perhaps the preamps & audio-interface you use as well? I'm looking into how to record it really well now as well!! Loving your playing :) thank you, Ricky :)
Ah looks like a studio pair of the Austrian Audio OC818 large diaphragm condenser microphone. Apparently awesome capsule capturing rich mids & open airy treble .... yep, sounds like it :)
Wow amazing classic improvisation ~~♡😭😭👏
Beautiful, no ego just Chopin. I love you.
The versatility is extremely high from jazz to rock to classical!! Well deserved recognition around the globe thru UA-cam!! 💯🙌

Grande Chopin, sendo homenageado pela grande sangah noona, dose dupla. Abraços especiais.
Brave, bold and excellent...I expect classical pianists to react violently, but I think we need more freedom with these classical timeless pieces 😊
👏👏👏💐💐💐👍👍👍💕💕💕
Chopin!
👏👏👏 !! 🧡🧡🧡 ......
Bravo!!! The sheet music is available on music notes?

so serious in this piece !?
the good thing is that there was no lack of color and nuances that only Sangah Noona can give !!
Can you be my piano teacher?
You sad? I sad..
