i have a 12v TV in the dining room which consumes atleast 1.5amps, my question is, during an event of power failure, how do you deal with reverse discharge phenomenal? pretty sure you charger is also pulling currents from the battery during brownouts.
im asking coz thats exactly happening to my setup. my tv could run for 2hr straight on a 3s 3p setup. but other than the tv, the charger also discharging the battery. i also tried using diodes on the charger side but im also experiencing a huge voltage drop of 0.5v. the bms requires atleast constant 12.6v to reach float voltage, but with diode voltage from charger plays around 11.9v to 12v

Hi, I set the same as you showed in video. But, light was not off when the adapter connected to power and just a little dropped brightness. What can the reason be?

@@beboo1414141414 I think that the transformer voltage is 12 Volts. So that, the Charging voltage must be 14 or 15 Volts.

I used with 12 Volts battery with 12 volts charger . It’s not switched off, but a little drop down the brightness when charger on. I think the charging voltage should be more than battery’s voltage.
Friend, the diode in your cìrcuit wrong direction. After i reverse it the cathode put in the base and the anode put in the emitter, it works finally. So please confirm if this is correct. Thanks

N.B: this circuit will not charge your battery. Battery needs to charge another way.
Or just reverse the Diode. It will charge & auto on/off your bulb.

D 882 or some other transistor can act as a switch and instead 12 v charger we can use lm 317 for charge and regulate the current on full charge of 12 v battery.

Huh. You have very, VERY dangerous electric systems. Are you located in India or somewhere? These kind of systems are prohibited in EU and I don’t recommend they anywhere. But the automatic switch looks fine. I didn’t see any schematic. Could you add it.
