Last time: DON"T STEP OUT INTO TRAFFIC IN THE DARK. look both ways and cross only when clear. Drivers cannot see well in the dark and cannot see through parked busses. Be aware and be careful!
So headlights are useless huh!? That's a bunch of BS. I wear glasses which light reflects off of making it hard for me to see at night. Plenty of times people dressed in dark colors or black have walked into the street or on the side or on a bike and I saw them clear as day. And I go 10 mph over speed limit and still manage to not hit anyone ever
I'm guessing the HPD unit will just get a slap on the wrist. Meanwhile, the ordinary citizen would be facing reckless endangerment, manslaughter charges.
Looks like it was dark out. With all the new LED headlights, they can be terribly blinding and she was bent down. If she had 3 kids on the side of the road, that could have also created a distraction. A very sad situation and hope she makes it.
Thats a BS excuse. I wear glasses and the lights bounce off my glasses making it hard to see and I slow down till I can see as well as notice if someone is on the road. @riska521
Charge him reckless driving child endangerment the list goes on wow houstons finest right there folks not paying attention smh
how fast was the patrol car going? and if it was a normal person, we would be in jail until the end of the investigation. 2 TIER!

Was the officer arrested and checked for alcohol and drugs? Protect and Serve?

Anyone else would be in jail.
Acting like her bending over to grab her card made her invisible is BS and they know it
The report doesn’t make sense
A suspect was transported to hospital?
Who was the suspect and why he was transported to hospital
The cops need to apologize, but it was an accident., it would be nice if they gave her a few hundred dollars.
Was the Q card that important?!
