I'm 5'6" with shoes on and about 125 lbs after dinner. I have a 35" chest; I usually wear XS tops and 28x28 pants (or 28x30 cuffed).
My best suit jacket size is 34 Short, but even 34S needs alterations (mostly shortening of the sleeves and jacket), so my best-fitting suits are custom.

Erin Watley here!! Definitely do NOT remember this. LOL. But happy to be a part of a memory/lesson that gets new meaning in the present. Goes to show you never know what impression you're leaving, even in kindergarten!!

Woah hey Erin! I'm so glad you don't remember this haha 😂
I have nothing but warm, fond memories of you and your family. You all left a very positive impression on me (and my fam too). I hope you're all doing well!

That "be around" rule brought back some happy memories. My family would spend several nights a week at our local diner. The older guys, who were mostly WW2 veterans, would sit around the bar (food bar, no alcohol) and have a great time. It was always the same guys and they were always happy! They really left an impression on me as a young boy. I'm 40 and classic diners still hold a special place in my heart.

Really like the new style Brock! And the subject matter is quite new for your channel, big fan of that too!
One more technique I would add is touch. Nothing complicated, just a good handshake or arm around the shoulder. I basically do it when it feels natural and not try to overthink it. I think it makes a big difference.

Every tip there is so true and I think that at this day and age, the last tip is actually the most important and beneficial - yet tricky to implement at the social media era when people will prefer the comfort of home.

you gave us 5 tips, not 6 l0l
    1. when you're having a conversation with someone, don't talk about yourself, talk about them
    2. smile, with your eyes+mouth, wait until they start talking to you
    3. give a compliment, about appearance, but not something they cant easily change
    4. be vulnerable (by either self deprecation, or asking for advice)
    5. be around

Late to this, but wanted to say, the arrangement of this post is all kinds of Wes Anderson amazing. Different to what we typically see, I feel like it will look just as good a decade from now as it does today. Great for such a timeless topic.

Be around is a tricky one as turnover is so high. Certainly getting to know the owner, family members (if it’s a family-run business, or higher level staff makes sense, besides being pleasant to the rest of the workers that actually interact with you. However I’ve noticed that there are places I go that the people I saw for months or years just vanished-and no one will say a thing!

One tip for vulnerability is to be open about the things you like unironically. Lots of people try to be cool/popular by trying to project the attitudes and interests they think they should, rather than the ones that they actually do. Its very refreshing to connect on things you really like and often bond over your enthusiasm, even if they don't share the same interest. Don't pretend to like sports or cars (or whatever) because thats a masculine hobby but if you do love sports (or cooking, or watches, of Taylor Swift etc...), talk about it with enthusiasm and without shame.

Video idea: creating a yearly clothes budget. I think most men,(myself included) acquire clothes two ways; out of necessity,(somebody died and I need a black suit tomorrow,) and through Christmas and birthday gifts. This creates a very hodgepodge wardrobe with big gaping holes that leave you with a black suit, a big intense cardigan and some ratty jeans and clothes with stains that are generally of low quality. Creating a clothes budget takes a proactive approach.
