Well. The very definition of a haunting song. It feels like there's a verse missing to complete the story. When I looked into it, it does appear that there may have been one more verse but it was published without it. However, a beautiful song and a really lovely recording.

And she smiled as she passed me wth her goods and her gear and that was the last that I saw of my dear”. I did suggest in adding this verse, but Barrie did not agree. :)
