So do we, some of our favourite recipes came from these three, like that orange pudding (it was absolutely gorgeous)! You have a lovely week too, Tracie 😉 💕 Miss. HD
Beautiful collection guys. As you know I did make that gorgeous pumpkin pie which will defo be on this year's Thanksgiving menu. Bring on part three! xx
Aw yeahh! That’s two confirmed attempts of that pumpkin pie recipe that turned out well, so we’ll be going back to this one 💪! Save us a slice next time you bake it 😉 💕 Miss. HD
@@handeddownkitchen8192 Haha! The fella is not a pumpkin pie fan so last year I had to finish the two pies I made all by myself! So no problem - I'll send you each a big fat slice :) xx
Very nice. I just went onto your website. it's great! thank you. I am particularly interested in old cookbooks that have plenty of meat based/ animal produce recipes. :)
Hi Nancy, absolutely! We've made a few pies on here so far (Pumpkin Pie, 'Autumn Pie' which is a blackberry meringue pie, and steak & kidney pie) but there are plenty more pie recipes in these cookbooks that we haven't tried yet and would love to get stuck into. Would you like us to do a sweet or savoury pie, or have something particular in mind that you'd like to see? Just let us know and we'll find the closest recipe we have to it 😉. 💕 Miss. HD
@@handeddownkitchen8192 thank you so much for replying. I would love to see both sweet and savory, regional recipes and pie recipes that aren't popular these days. Love your channel.
You’re very welcome, and thank you 🥰!! Sorry it’s taken so long to get back to you, it’s been a busy old couple of weeks but we haven’t forgotten to look for pies for you! There’s a big regional dish section in our 1930s cookbook, so I’m going to take a look there first before moving on to the others. We’ll have a flick through all of the books this weekend and let you know what we’ve found. Then we’ll start planning to film making one! 😉 Take care, talk soon! 💕 Miss. HD
I love these books. I am so glad you are sharing them with us. Have a great week.

Can you feature some of the pie recipes in these vintage and antique cookbooks?
