Hello, this guide is by far the best one I have seen on the internet for my G2D max, kudos to you. I have just a very particular question about the tuning, I am doing all the things that you are doing but since the weather is very cold right now, would the range, performance or top speed get affected by the cold weather? Because I can't reach 40 kmh no matter what I set and the range feels much less than what is advertised on sports which is i believe 40~50 km. Thanks! (I weigh 85 kg)
@@wma_international Yes it is, i couldn't even achieve 34-35 with initial current set to 1 A in field weakening settings but now can reach 37-38 with initial current 3A. However still can't see the 41-42 mark unless I get a boost with a downhill road, it has been quite warm these past 2 days around 13 C and still wasn't able to achieve those speeds. Would increasing initial current to 5-6A cause damage? It is just strange that the conditions are almost same with each other but there is a really significant performance gap. Thank you for the answer ❤
Difficult to answer without seeing your settings. Of course, all scooters do perform a little different. I would not go higher that 3a initial. But with your weight you should normally cross 40 on flat ground
@@wma_international Well I can safely say that all of the settings are exactly the same, including throttle curves, acc boost, motor pwm overmodulation and field weakening, but I also understand your situation and not having the full details about the scooter can make it difficult to troubleshoot. I will tinker around the settings more and find out what is wrong. Maybe it can be the fact that G2D models that are produced in 2024 have a different rear motor. Mine is produced in 2024 so it has UNBJ motor. But if yours is produced in 2023 it has UNAH motor. Their kV and RPM values are different, mine being a lower rpm but higher torque one. Would love to hear your input on this.
Hi, i have tweaked everything the same way as the author did and with 100% battery life it reaches 43km/h but when the battery is at 70% or lower and i ride downhill or more than 35km/h the scooter starts weirdly braking. I have no speed limit. It kinda feels like the motor is vibrating and slowing down because of it or like if something was stuck between the rear wheel and the fender but that's not the case. I do not know what's going on. Can someone help me?
Dude thanks so much for this guide! So if you have a lets say 15km roundtrip daily from home to work with like 50% hills, a lot pretty steep, what would you recommend?
I actually tried the field weakening and doesn’t change nothing at least for me. Only when enabled “enable by sports mode” it got faster and on a free spin it got to like 57kmh but I don’t think that’s safe for it lol. There is even a disclaimer haha What do you think? I got a G2D with 900W in peak (out of the box)
@ Yeah I did except that the 36kmh+ is only if I enable field weakening by mode. But overall it is the perfect speed for me (usually like 33-35kph on flat ground)
Also as a feedback, it might be interesting that you could do driving videos with a gopro showing more of your personality and maybe do some vlogs, adding a demo riding video after all of the tuning videos could be interesting!
Nice video! Im happy with the 39km/h i can reach already, but love the video for thoose who wishes to learn!
Thank you🫶
thank you for sharing this information! +1 sub

Thank you so much🫶 of course temperature affects the performance. Is your battery at 100% while trying?

Yes Motor makes a difference. But the newer models normally should have less torque but more top speed. But at the end also 38 is a good top speed😁
Can you do one on a 2024 e2 pro can’t hack it ?

Thank you🙏 then I would go with 25A an 50% Acc. And would probably turn off fw😉

Did you set up everything like I showed? Also with acceleration boost?
You should not try it standing. That crashes your motor.

👍🫶
Can you please do it with the Xiaomi 4pro 2nd gen
Can I do this on my segway F2 pro?
Yes but depends on your Firmware. Maybe you need to use ST Link
Was ist field weaking bzw was bewirkt das
Reduziert den Widerstand im Motor. Dadurch weniger Drehmoment aber mehr Endgeschwindigkeit
I drive a lot on hills so should i go drive or sport
its better (for the motor) to drive on drive when you go over a hill
Thank you for sharing, good video ! can you make a video for the Segway Ninebot ZT3 pro E please ? +1 sub
I will but there is at the moment no tuning option
Also as a feedback, it might be interesting that you could do driving videos with a gopro showing more of your personality and maybe do some vlogs, adding a demo riding video after all of the tuning videos could be interesting!
Good input👍 thanks! I will do more riding videos when the weather gets better
can you show us it actually going that fast
I did show the Dashboard. That was in the Street
Bro I'm too Germany region don't let me to config
englisch so krass hahah
