I contemplated locs for over 5 years before I made the commitment. I totally agree with everything you said, because my phone was full of loc pictures that I would download off Pinterest 🤣🤣🤣. My main reason in getting them, was I wanted to start chipping away at some of the layers of conditioning I had from childhood onward. Living through everyone else, and their opinions of me and people pleasing. Locs was a way for me to step out of the box, and do something for me. It was something I always wanted but didn’t do because of the fear of being judged. Just one of many steps I’m taking to live in my own truth, and focus on self regardless of what people think of me.

Yes please more videos! You have such a calming aura and this just makes me want to loc even more! I just feel I need to make a step for change . Yanoe that feeling of something better and necessary has to happen! (Maybe a topic on that)? I don't know?

I definitely recommend doing everything you want with your hair before locing it lol. I wish you the best when you do start!
