Mt Charleson, Meltzer, and Snow - Las Vegas Nevada

Just 40 miles outside of the Las Vegas strip lies the Spring Mountains and the Mt. Charleston Wilderness. Lots of great hiking, including the beautiful 17 mile round trip hike to the summit of Mt. Charleston. The elevation at the summit is 11,918 which on clear days gives you great views of Death Valley, Telescope Peak, and even the Sierras. In this hike, Meltzer battles sun, wind, snow, and FoorYourSuccess.
