I think it's more that truls is shutting his game down, No one can really rally forhand topspin to forhand topspin with Quadri. Even the top chinese know to avoid that when possible.

Aruna's ranking speaks for itself. I think it's just his style that upsets people for the wrong reason. Big forehand with a weaker backhand and an overall technique which seems weird at this level.
