It's mind-boggling. They were in love, married and living together , yet did they never discuss with each other whatever mental health issues or challenges Twitch was facing? Shouldn't he be discussing this with his wife, I mean that's what you are married for. You trust each other and go through ups and downs. This was the first thing that came to my mind when Twitch had killed himself, that why did he do this? He was not alone. He had a wife and 2 kids. Yet what reason was he unhappy for? She should just had kept it private. Celebrities claim they want privacy, and then they go ahead and do this for unnecessary attention.
Not everyone. But in this case, it was probably not needed. Not sure if the intentions are for the good. Would any person like their weaknesses to be bought out in public ?
Initially I was relieved she shared this info because if he were secretly an addict, it painted a clearer picture of why he did it and that could potentially help others. That being said, we know he died with nothing in his system…
Her husband her story I bet they want to silence her that it was someone from their family was the abuser. I don’t think I’d be letting my kids see that family given the abuse. He took the easy way out taking his life and if his story can help others so be it. It should all come out. I’m not surprised there was substance abuse. 🙄
I don’t know. So many questions still. First as one who has lost a loved one to suicide, there are so many layers to this complicated grief, questions about why the loved one wanted to end their life. And sometimes, things are discovered (as in his case) that perhaps no one wants to be uncovered. Who was the person who took advantage of him? A family member or friend perhaps? Had to have been because he was a child. Does mom want to protect that persons identity? Perhaps this led to the family’s fall out with Allison? I believe there are likely other factors at play here, and the family does not want any of that known and maybe allison does. There is NO shame in what happened to twitch so why are they so eager to keep what happened under wraps. Perhaps knowing what really happened can help others struggling with the same demons Twitch struggled with. This is part of the complicated grief that suicide leaves behind. Prayers for the entire family. 🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼
Yeah all valid points you've made. But how is this helpful to anyone with the way it's being handled so publicly? Where is the wisdom in all of this? Even if you know all this, what's it to you? Why should it be the public's job to play judge & jury on a private family matter we know nothing about? It's not like she got their perspective. She has no clue either, what pushed him to commit suicide. So at this point her motives are questionable. She's speculating just like everybody else except she wants to gain attention from speculating by exposing his private inner thoughts & secrets to the world. How will this help his kids? They're the most important victims here. I'm tired of hearing the 'this story could help someone else'. There are plenty of other stories that are out there that other people can learn from and there isn't all of this drama going on, being created by an attention seeking widow at the expense of other people that this could likely hurt and impact. The children being the most important. Clearly she doesn't care about the family & the truth.
Families are tough! I don’t say what she is doing is right but I didn’t understand why Stephen chose to off himself. I know depression can be hell but adding drugs to self medicate explains a lot. I think we should wait until the book is out before we criticize. Also, to the commenters who don’t think she grieved long enough before dating, I say, grow up! May Stephen R.I.P. ❤️🇨🇦🙏
'Profits' are deducting 'costs' to HER Non-Profit. 'Costs' can include HER time of writing this book and HER working role in HER Nonprofit. In doing so, SHE can also avoid taxation since it's for 'Charity'.
She's not helping anybody by publishing his personal private journals. She's only helping herself to lots of money. She's not doing it for nothing she's getting something out of it, and it's money and publicity. Despite her claims that it's going to charity. I bet you won't hear a word about how much the charity makes from it. She should think of her children and have that information out in public. There is just no shame in some people.
Not to be critical, but can people promote using correct terms when referred to such sensitive topics. it’s not something I was familiar with until getting suicide awareness training, which has trained staff members at schools to save lives. Something important I learned from the training is that the correct term is that someone “died or passed by suicide”, not “committed suicide”, to acknowledge the mental illness that is so common for people who suffer with depression, I would argue it is scientifically more accurate to say a person was lost or passed due to suicide, rather than “killed themselves or committed suicide”
This whole thing with Twitch's death is suspicious. Personally, I think he was murdered. And who makes a Mother sign a NDA to go to their sons funeral. I agree with Perez, Twitch's mother needs to go to court to get visitation with her grand babies.
I just could not even *fathom* blasting my spouse's darkest and most painful secrets for God and everybody to paw over, when they were no longer here to defend themselves. I was always taught, de mortuis nil nisi bonum. Of the dead , speak well, or not at all. But you know, I guess there's no money \clout to be gained from that .
Damn. I’ve loved twitch, since his dancing show. Didn’t really watch videos of him and his wife but when he passed I couldn’t help but think it had something to do with her
Just generally speaking, not specific to this situation, I don't believe in "grandparents rights." In most cases the grandparents were horrible and the parents are protecting their kids from them. The courts usually don't know about abuse or just general bad parenting. You have to be convicted of child abuse before the courts protect the grandkids. This is much more common than people realize. I think it's your right to keep your kids away from people who you don't want influencing them.
@@aprilnewell5434 That's why I said generally speaking. Good parents never have to go to court to prove they're good grandparents, but there are a lot of awful grandparents who need to be kept away from any young people. It sounds like you're lucky enough to not have a horrible, abusive family, good for you!! 💖 But other people come from monsters and know to protect their children from them.
The NDA for the funeral tells us there has been something going on for a long time and no one will ever know what it is nor should we .. I honestly wish Twitches family would have kkept this Private dealing with her on how wrong this was for them to know about the book etc and keeping from seeing the grandkids . ( but we don’t know all what went on ). Now they have to deal with this all out in public . The entire thing is sad really sad . . We will always love Twitch and never forget him ever . I personally would never sign a NDA to see my family member at their funeral . . The only people that will make any money out of this is Lawyers and the public knowing more than we ever should . Really sad . I personally don’t understand doing the book with her thought on helping and donating ….. maybe time will tell. I hope it helps many I pray that it does . , I would not have published this book on their lives or any part of his , but there are a lot of things in life I would of not done or things I should have done. This is what she chose to do , so it is up to people to want to buy the book or not . I would rather donate money to a charity to help then buy the book .. A donation in the memory of Twitch for whatever he was going through to help others to seek help ..
Did she mention that all funds generated as a result of book sales would be donated to charity in the People interview? Or did she see the public expression of offense and is now trying to save face? I’m afraid it’s too late for effective damage control.
I’m thinking his wife knows more than the mother. And his mother would be more willing to cover up stuff. Remember most SA victims are known to the victim and family!
Boss Mom and Allison are very similar. Both are airing family details with the public. Starting own charities as a non-expert is shady on most days and lame on a good day. Always go with an already well-established organization and amplify their work. That said, it doesn’t mean that tWitch was not abused as a kid or that families of most children who experience assault know how to advocate for their children; plenty deny and obfuscate facts because no one canceled chastity culture shame, or homophobia, or harmful ideals about what makes someone an admirable man. So, just because someone disagrees with what was made public about tWitch doesn’t mean that the wife was wrong to share it since she’s literally next of kin. People can disagree about the level of privacy. It doesn’t make one person more evil than the other.
I don't understand why someone would do this and put their partner in a bad light. When they have kids and that person isn't here to defend themselves anymore.
Idk something is NOT right here How could she keep the kids away from their family? My heart goes out to his poor mom and his family 💔 Alison gives me a very bad feeling How dare she expose him like this?! He kept it private for a reason! Shame on her
She should never have read his journals let alone speak on it. She is a horrible human. The mom is trying to protect her son's memory like any mom would in this situation.
I don’t agree with the family. I don’t see this as tarnishing his legacy. He unalived himself. Clearly things were not well with him mentally. Also, I don’t think the kids are being withheld from the grandparent unnecessarily. I feel it has to do with the sexual assault Twitch experienced. Most SA of kids occurs by a family member. I have a feeling the grandmother knew about the SA and never turned in the suspect.
Please don't say his dark secret...we don't even know what's true and whats not. He deserve respect and what Allison and her daughter is saying its so harsh and disrespectful 😪
My gosh people.... Allison is respecting her children and honoring her dead husband. You have no idea what Stephen's mom is like. Allison has a reason for doing this.
Are u serious? People with trauma that don’t tell their family, would NEVER want their pain out there the way she did. She’s trying to make a career off his death.. she could have done this anonymously through a charity she does not own. And plus his mother is not the only one upset. It seems like everyone that was in his life came out and spoke. My one hope that they investigate her because he was shot and with her gun and had no drugs in his system. Then literally days after a his death she changes her name? Little later she gets a new man. Anyways I would never do this to my dead husband and neither would anyone else… this is a chess move
I know all about overbearing, borderline evil mother in laws but that's not what this is about. I'm alarmed what you consider as "honoring"! Sharing someone's deepest secrets to the world soon after they're gone is honoring? If there was abuse in his family, then I understand Allison protecting her kids from potential harm. But her telling HIS story for money is a special type of low.
I think Allison should handle this how she feels because nobody, not even his mother, can claim to know the inner workings of Twitch. He himself threw away his legacy by unaliving himself and I truly think she's still finding her feet again in many ways. The worst thing anyone can do is come at her the way everyone is because nobody is in her shoes, therefore, nobody has the best path for her. To defend a man that's already dead is self serving but for his widow, it's a different case; because she's the one who has to live what he's left.

She should just had kept it private. Celebrities claim they want privacy, and then they go ahead and do this for unnecessary attention.
You literally believe they do it for attention…never mind!
Not everyone. But in this case, it was probably not needed. Not sure if the intentions are for the good. Would any person like their weaknesses to be bought out in public ?
This secrets are not hers to share with the world. This is something you might talk to your kids about at the right age.
@ 🙄whatever you need to tell yourself
Twitch's children need to understand why their dad took his life.
I hope mom goes after her big time! How u gonna trash my dead sonnn!!!???
Families are tough! I don’t say what she is doing is right but I didn’t understand why Stephen chose to off himself. I know depression can be hell but adding drugs to self medicate explains a lot. I think we should wait until the book is out before we criticize. Also, to the commenters who don’t think she grieved long enough before dating, I say, grow up! May Stephen R.I.P. ❤️🇨🇦🙏
Yep, his family should start a charity in his name and write a book about him.
IF a person who SA Stephen is still in the family and Allison now knows who they are she can tell that in court.
Makes you wonder if his abuser was part of his own family. If that’s the case it may be the reason she’s keeping her kids away.
Write about your own life and problems, and never about a deceased person.
I think suicide tarnishes his legacy more than anything else, honestly
Figure it out for the kids! They need their Grandma!
Didn’t really watch videos of him and his wife but when he passed I couldn’t help but think it had something to do with her
His autopsy showed no drugs!!!
She knew about everything
Just generally speaking, not specific to this situation, I don't believe in "grandparents rights." In most cases the grandparents were horrible and the parents are protecting their kids from them. The courts usually don't know about abuse or just general bad parenting. You have to be convicted of child abuse before the courts protect the grandkids. This is much more common than people realize. I think it's your right to keep your kids away from people who you don't want influencing them.
I disagree. Everything is a case by case situation. Parents abuse too. Look at our foster care system.
@@pauli7457 I am sorry for the situation you went through. I pray for peace.
Then you go on to say “in most cases the grand parents were horrible”. Do you have a total for your “in most cases” statement?
That's horrible for her to share things like that about this man.😩🤦🏾♀️
#boycottallisonsbook
Sounds like Grandma needs to get honest about what was going on in her son's life
Every time I see this story I think about Alicia Keys song Diary. Allison should listen to it.
Right cuz his secrets weren’t safe with her smh
Oh stop! Another Amber Heard with the donation! Yeah right!
Did she mention that all funds generated as a result of book sales would be donated to charity in the People interview? Or did she see the public expression of offense and is now trying to save face? I’m afraid it’s too late for effective damage control.
She’s dead wrong! Wife or not it’s not her story to tell!
There is a saying in my language that states “everyday is the day of the thief, one day, is the day of the owner”. Karma will find the Widow
Many times people say they will donate but if never happens.
LOVE THIS! I wish they’d go to court too! Those poor babies must be so confused. 💔
Jezabel spirit written all over. You can see it in her aura.
I don't understand why someone would do this and put their partner in a bad light. When they have kids and that person isn't here to defend themselves anymore.
This is not honouring his legacy.
As a black woman, I don't care. My advice, choose better.
By choose better you're insinuatibg he should've chosen a black woman, right? Guess what? A black woman could've done this to him too.
Idk something is NOT right here
How could she keep the kids away from their family? My heart goes out to his poor mom and his family 💔
Alison gives me a very bad feeling
How dare she expose him like this?!
He kept it private for a reason!
Shame on her
All of his family who signed a NDA, they should sue her and open up about him especially Mom and Dad because she shouldn't have done this 😢
Momma and fam needs to hire private investigator. RIP rest in PEACE not this crap!
So if she started the non-profit.....wouldn't that just mean she's donating all the profits to....her bank account?
Boycott the book. The publisher needs to do the right thing and take it out of print.
48 hrs of his passing, she changed her surname. Was she not focusing on the pain? Perez, really??
Those biracial kids need his black family. Mom ca not be that selfish
She is sharing a deceased person's private diary thoughts for own profit? Need to investigate his death
But it’s still not our business. That’s the point the family is trying to make.
@@ms.opinionated4422exactly
She is donating money to her charity😂😂😂. Please . Smells of money scam
She was found holding.hands with some football player months after his.death ...boycott that book amd.reopen the investigation
Please don't say his dark secret...we don't even know what's true and whats not. He deserve respect and what Allison and her daughter is saying its so harsh and disrespectful 😪
Forcing an NDA? Is that legal?
Girl stop...she isn't writing a book about his mother....she's writing it about Stephen
@blackdiamond231 EXACTLY...I wouldn't even do this to an ex ...
Most states do not have grandparent rights. I’m in Vermont and there are no grandparent rights in this state.
I want to hear from Ellen. She worked very closely with him for a long time.
Im afraid she’ll do a Amber Heard, say she will donate an amount of money and…won’t do it.
Allison is horrible for divulging anything. It was his private thoughts, if it's even true. RIP Twitch.
California doesn’t do grandparent rights
Perez don't be fooled. If this was the case she would have said she was donating proceeds from the beginning.
It makes sense that he didn’t share anything to her, she was not trust worthy
That was what I was thinking. Why did she do that? Why did she write the negative past of her late husband….
What has changed with Mergan as she said social media is toxic?
I still want this investigated better. It has always been fishy 🐠 🐟
how terribly sad😢😢😢😢😢😢
Nothing related to the video but just wanted to say Your hair looks so good!
