    This was so satisfying to both watch and listen to (I had headphones in so you know it was on point). Love the thickness and length of your hair; it all looks so healthy. Glad you do what works for you as opposed to looking to influencers and self proclaimed gurus to tell you how to take care of your hair (a lot of the information during the natural hair movement became so watered down & texturist over time). Keep doing what works and stop what doesn’t. That’s worked for me. You’re doing phenomenal!

    I love your hair!!! It just like mine… but I prefer to use a paddle brush the wooden kind with out the plastic so it doesn’t come apart!!! Just in case you’re interested I will send you the one I have!!! It even less time detangling ❤❤❤❤

      Yes I love them still but when I don’t have time to deep condition, I like using a more hydrating conditioner that’s made for natural hair

    My hair was trimmed 2x in the past two months. Currently shoulder blade length and shedding like CRAZY! Im natural and my go-to are 2strand twists, for years. Started getting it straightened around Thanksgiving and I think my hair is rebelling.

    • @ebonyswope
      @ebonyswope  9 місяців тому

      Yes that’s a lot of heat and change! Deep condition to try to keep it strong. That should help with the shedding

    Love the hair videos!! How long does it take to detangle one section of your hair? Was this video edited or sped up?

    • @ebonyswope
      @ebonyswope  9 місяців тому

      It takes me maybe 2-3 minutes on each section because I handle my hair with care. No clips in this video were sped up.I really went slower than normal for the sake of ASMR and demonstration purposes lol it takes about 10 mins for my entire head when I'm just in the shower on my own doing this.

    I have a question....does your shampoo and conditioner have to be the same brand for your hair to grow?

    • @ebonyswope
      @ebonyswope  10 місяців тому +7

      No. As long as they do what they’re supposed to do. However, haircare lines are formulated to be cohesive with each other so you usually can’t go wrong with using the same line. However, if you feel like a shampoo is too drying etc from a line, definitely mix and match!!

      @@ebonyswopegreat advice bc after a protective style i need a clarifying shampoo but i will NOT use a matching conditioner. 😂 but in general i like using matching sets.

      I'm coming out with my own so that's what I use but I would suggest the shea moisture Manuka honey one and for protein, the one from Ashley Marie Collection

      @Cheezwizzie 10 місяців тому

      @ebonyswope idk. I have been feeling a bit of tenderness in my scalp occasionally. As far as new products I haven't really used anything new in about a year. I started using a curling smoothie for twist outs almost 2 years ago. I also started using chebe oil about 6 months or so ago

      Yes she is definitely 3c or maybe 3b. Her hair is beautiful though. I’m 4c and I have so much shrinkage there is no hair for me to hold as I rub shampoo on my scalp. And my hair is just past shoulder length.
