  • What makes you who you are? Your genes are important, but research in epigenetics suggests that environment, such as the food you eat or the experiences you have, can affect you, and maybe even your children and grandchildren at a genetic level!
Biologist and science educator at Central Washington University, Jennifer’s research focuses on the epigenetic (non-genetic) and genetic mechanisms underlying how plants adapt to stressful environments. Understanding how genes and environment interact to help plants tolerate drought, for example , is a first step in improving agriculture productivity in the face of climate change, rapid population growth and heightened competition for land and water.

Very interesting! Needs to be redone though because the sound quality is so bad. I missed a lot of what she was saying in the second half.

no doubt - first the mic captured every explosive and exhalation, and then all of the room noise :(

Too bad the delivery was so difficult because the subject matter is very interesting. Doesn’t ANYONE review these before they are posted. I would be mortified if I were her, such a shame.

It depends as a blonde the hair color changes darker in winter. I know this as a fact since I was born a blonde with some red highlights especially if there is iron in the water.

I don't know why but her voice really bugs me. It's like, "know everything and you are not as smart as me."
