    Old video but still very nice John. You covered the option deploying stateless stuff from repo to DR region when needed. What are your thoughs on capacity in Azure regions for this. Say when West Europe fails and 'everybody' deploys instantly to East Europe. Can East Europe handle that ? Or worst case will it die, effectually creating a bigger problem...

      I’m about to record updated version where I’ll talk about just that question :) failover is part of region capacity planning but definitely should discuss with your account teams.

    Thank you, John! Fantastic video. Quick question, where are you getting the 2 ms latency number for datacenters within a Region? I'm trying to find official documentation stating this number, but for the life of me I can't find it.

      it's a well known metric and definition but honestly not sure if its documented anywhere.
