That center area of dirt should leave it for the buggies and just put some features and attractions to drive around, Or through or even over
Great info as always. Question, do you have a video on how to convert a stealth x to have a slipper vs. locked? I have a top shaft for an axial 3-gear, is that all that's needed? Thanks in advance!
The layshaft in the Stealth X is a carryover from the "old" Associated V2 slipper, so most any V2-style slipper will fit. The only issue is usually the spring *layshaft is too short) but I don't usually run the spring anyway, because I just want the slip action as a line of defense.
At the very minimum, replace the slipper eliminators with these: alnk.to/aAOLxd9 and alnk.to/5jm26Ls
Any Associated hex slipper pad will work, but it's getting harder and harder to find the old hex style, as the "new" slippers are Octalock, which use their own spurs and pads-- which do fit the standard two-flat AE/Element layshaft, but are more of an investment. Even the Exotek Mk.3 will fit, but I'm not advising anybody run out and put a $60 slipper setup on their Stealth X. The plates and pads for ~25 bucks is just fine.
@CrawlerCanyon Much appreciate it 🙏
