How are finding the mechanic colors by Vallejo. I’m thinking of buying a few.

How does the Lead Belcher compare to Vallejo metallics?
I see you use a water based wash, does it flow well in cracks, is it easy to clean?
Also are you doing clear coats in between.
Have you looked into enamel washes like Tamyia Panel Line Accent?
Are you using any kind of topcoat to protect the paint at the end?
The null oil shade cleans up very easily. And flows through cracks very well. I've tried it out. And like gunpla uses panel line accent is a couple older videos, used gray panel line accent on the turn x. Most videos dont show the top coat but it is essential to protect the panel line accent and decals. So more than likely.

so many questions! i am trying to get better at making my own Gunpla. i have an idea for a diorama i want to build. so i am trying to learn to paint like a pro on my own, this video is really helping actually.
From the looks of it that is an harder and steenbeck Infinity CR. Guessing for priming, he using a .4mm nozzle and for the fine detail he is using either a
.15mm or a .2 mm nozzle. The infinity CR 2 in 1 comes with 2 nozzles.

just use any airbrush, what matters is that you clean it properly between uses and learn pressure air control. never spend big money on expensive airbrushes, the tools won't make you any better than practice will
opsimathics true dude, practice makes perfect. But I was actually more interested in the fact that it was gravity fed. Found out that was the system which was my main interest in asking the question. Have an air brush already just don’t like how i have to keep unscrewing the tank on the bottom to refill the damn thing. I apreciate the reply man. It is always awesome to find someone who looks out for others.

A question: Do you think Vallejo Mecha colors are better for gunpla than their normal colors? Is the mecha primer better? Thank you!
That would come down to opinion. I tried a few different paints for airbrushing and to me Tamiya airbrushes almost perfect. However Tamiya brushes on awful in my opinion

I've been handbrushing mostly with vallejo so far, it went well with 1/100 sizes but it's a pain on my current 1/144 RG Wing :/ The regular vallejo primer would tear and peel on joints too easily, which is why I'm curiously looking into their mecha line - this video came in almost like a divine advice haha! Might I ask - do you have experience with Tamiya's liquid primer?
@@B3rrymon I do. It's terrific. I painted a BMW car kit yesterday. I started with Vallejo gray primer. I didn't like it. It had an almost rubbery feel to it. I sanded it off and applied the Tamiya primer and it was much better. Was more paint like than the rubbery feel of the Vallejo.
How long did it take including drying time between layers?
