    Never thought about it before, but looks like that time of year is best for that kind of work...winter but no snow.

      Onion NA winter is easier to see obstacles like rocks. You can’t see that when it’s green and weedy.

      zfilmmaker also the shrubs and branches are brittle making cuts like it’s warm butter

      Aaron S I’ve got so many rock, winter is when I do the bulk of my woody brush control. Not having underbrush to cover the rocks is necessary. I just got a new Fecon head so I’m being careful. I haven’t noticed a difference in cut performance in warm or cold.

    How long would it take to clear an acre with a bunch of brush this size? No large trees

    I have a patch of woods that I need to clear brush out of, but there are quite a few rocks in there too. Would I have to clear the rocks out first?

    One thing I don’t like is the head doesn’t have a push bar. I would not own one that didn’t have one.

    just a thought, what if you knock down a tree that had/has a bird's or squirrel's nest in it? the trees near here have a few nests in them. what happens to the babies?

    • @lukewarmwater6412
      @lukewarmwater6412 6 років тому +1

      those little one inch trees don't have any nests in them.... well you wouldn't think there would be, but they would get mulched. this head cant handle anything that would be big enough to have nests in them for most species

      +Luke Warmwater ... just wondering. at least you were nice about it. blocked the crappy comments. don't care to read them. you were 👌.

      don't get me wrong, most nesting birds aren't pests. but I do not trust squirrels. they are up to no good at any given moment and get what they deserve..... no sense in being graphic and mean about it though.
