Thanks so much for another great video! I miss SF so much..I am a grandma now but my first job was in 1969 on Berry Street on the Embarcadero..there was a Coke bottling company close by and the telephone company was just down the street. Later on I worked on Mission street (all in offices) by the Transbay Terminal..then on Sansome Street and finally on Northpoint. Miss those bustling days..always exciting! There was a great Hofbrau on Market Street, lots of cute little boutiques with clothes that were inexpensive for the most part but very stylish. Great little restaurants tucked in an alleyway and can't forget Doggie Diner! ...Oh my gosh, I'm crying now..missing those sweet days 💔
Jermaine I appreciate your video's very much. I'm an old timer from San Mateo who's parents in the 1950's took me to San Francisco so many times. Then as a young man in the 1960's I would go on dates there with my high school sweetheart for dinners and to just be in SF where it was all happening. I could also be found hanging and enjoying the Fillmore Auditorium, Avalon, Longshoremen's Hall and all of the other music venues. After I was married and had I career and worked 10 years in the Financial District at #1 Sansome Street. It's sad to see the homeless, the crime and businesses going under because of the pandemic. Thank you for being my eyes and ears today. Stay safe my friend.
Left the Bay Area this summer after living there for a decade. It’s crazy to see the streets are still empty after 2 years. I miss this place more than ever, and it’s painful to know the city will never be the same. I will be visiting soon and would love to move back if we ever get back to something normal again. I’ve traveled to many cities/countries and SF is still my favorite city. Thanks for sharing
I have traveled to san francisco 2 times (7 years ago and the last time it was 2 weeks ago), and i was impressed by how many homeless and mentally ill people are close to union square and soma.
Thank you for your content 🙏 I'm in Florida but I grew up in and around San Francisco. Too see the city through your eyes is a pleasure. Hardly no people..compared too what I remember living there through the 60 ' , 70's , 80's, 90's ...till 2006 . Don't know if I will ever come back ....so thanks very much ....
Wow so strange seeing empty streets esp lunchtime. I used to work across from 555 Calif street. At 550 cal. Left CA 4 years ago! Now in beautiful NC. Don’t miss the city nor the state. Only miss family I still have there.
Hi Jermaine! I'm in Ireland (Europe) and I watch your videos time to time...my question is : How is the homeless situation right now in SF ? (I lived in Bay Area years ago) All the best for you, cheers!!
Love these walks. More more. 👍

Leaving in 3 weeks after leaving here for 14 years. The San Francisco I knew and loved is dead.

@@TTillman3 it sucks. Been here for 10. Completely different city now. Good luck on wherever you’re headed!
I hope the old SF will come back!

Soo sad. It used to be the best city ever, I loved my years there. A basic ghost town now.
Hey J always enjoy your walking tours.
Wow this walk is so beautiful n lovely. Enjoyed watching. Have a happy and prosperous new year.❤️❤️
I found your channel because it was SF content, so that's what I'm here for. Do you ever see yourself living in a different city?
Dig deep thru Jerm's pre-covid videos. He traveled the world with a passion. Originally from Tenessee, I believe.
That's literally a ghost town from what it normally would be at 11 am on a Wednesday in the financial district.
Hi Jermaine, One my favorite areas of SF! $26 for parking! Ouch!
