      Jason, are you worried about getting grief when you cross back into the US and Canada about the window tint? I have a buddy that just did his side windows and the Gravel Road Cops towed his car after pulling him over... :(
      The tint looks super light on yours and I totally get why it's needed. I think the regulations are silly and over the top.

      Yes, the struggle is real... I expect I'll get pulled over if we go back, but it's easy enough to peal off! Further, I imagine your buddy's tint was on the darker side...?

      @@Everlanders great channel, having read the British Columbia's tinting laws and there is an exception, "Clear UV filter film" (BC Government words) can be installed on the inside of the windshield and front side windows. I know it not much but it's something you might want to check into. Also I am up for the tire conversion and CO2 hack.

    TacLife Boost Pack - Great item. Had ours for our three month trip to Alaska and fortunately, never had to use it. However, once home I've had to use it twice on my 2005 Jeep TJ and it's great.

    I'm very interested in your CO2 hack as well. We spend a lot on the small SodaStream containers and that would be a better option. I was also thinking of using it to pressurize an old soda container for filtered water like you do for all your water. Just like a beer keg.

      Hearing about friends and family fighting with snow and other poor weather is one of downsides of posting videos about how hot and sunny it is here... Sometimes it feels like we're flaunting it. :-(

      @@Everlanders naw man, that's just the fact of life in the Great White North! To be honest though, it's only - 2c right now (t-shirt weather!) and the snow is that super fluffy stuff that looks beautiful!

    In for the soda stream hack. I too have got a larger CO2 tank and hose however got tired of having to open and close the valve each time it was used. Forgot once and emptied the tank

    Tire Question: At 2:50 you said that you got a tire pressure monitor system that was made for 18 wheelers but you were going to use it on your 4_ If you have the extra sensors anyway, why not use the 5th one on the spare tire? It might prevent a bad surprise without anymore effort or cost. • Enjoy the trip and the fish tacos! 😃

      @@Everlanders Nice... We currently have a WeBoost which is ok.. but also have the MoFi 4500 LTE router, which I need to figure out a good setup for putting directional antennas to it. Love the idea of a telescoping, adjustable pole.. very interested to learn more from you. Love all your DIY awesomeness!

    I would like to see the sodastream hack, the OEM bottles get to expensive. My favourite beverage from our sodastream is, ice cold water from the sodastream and freshly squeezed lemon. Very refreshing. Lemon concentrate from the supermarket is also good.

    Definitely interested in the carbonated water hack as I buy mine in 2L bottles from the supermarket, and the Soda Stream tank system, as you say, is another hassle I could do without. I drink about a 2L a day.
    Would like to be a fly on the wall to see the cell antenna engineers reaction as you tear apart their baby and baptize it in spray foam.

    Nice radio mike setup "hidden" in your hat !!.... Question on the tint.... does it reduce your ability to see out of the vehicle much through the front window while driving... especially at night ?

    at 9:14 I noticed you don't have any running bars (rock sliders) to protect your camper/truck from any rocks you might crest over. I would be worried about a rock just ripping apart the camper.

      That box is built from 1/4 plate... Further we approach such obstacles slowly, with 2 way radios, haven't touched anything yet...

    Thanks for another great Vid/watch ! Tire question my truck is being built in Red Deer , on a dodge 5500 . We chose to put these tires on Hutch wheels for the dually -single conversion. Please give me your comments , i like your insight. Thank you for your help !

    The US railroad system uses expensive directional antennas trackside, they are protected inside foam filled radomes for rigidity and immunity to damp and condensation. I hope the paint you used doesn't contain metal particles as that will adversely affect performance. Safe travels!

    Have you tried a Biolite wood stove, super small, about the size of a nalgene bottle, had a thermal electric generator, I've had the small one for years, I charge my boost pack with it, great for cooking also

      I remember these being a trendy thing some years back so I want and had another look just now. They cost $150 and produce a maximum of 3 watts, for that price you can have one whole solar panel like ours that produces 185 watts.

      Good to know, I used mine out hunting in Alaska, no worrying about packing alot of fuel, or running out or fuel, easily charged my cell phone, and all other devices. But I can see in your application how solar would be better.

      We go as low at 10psi for sand or very soft soil. 20F/30R for slow rocky trails, 40F/60R for bad pavement. 50F/70R for smooth pavement.

    Are you familiar with the pirelli pista tires? I'm considering them for my similar truck, though it's the Ram 5500 and my box is likely much heavier as it was a rental truck box previously.
    They are significantly less expensive than the Continental and especially the Goodyear.
    We're also going SRW.

      I haven't heard of them before, let alone for use in an Overlanding application. Less than $450 a corner? All I could find was sites listing them as "No longer available for purchase. Contact us for possible alternatives."

      Looking at the quick Google search for Pirelli Pista, every results comeback with the word "tires" written with a "Y" so i'm guessing they're from the European market.

    You haven`t, at least I can`t find anything on your air conditioner for your living area. The only thing I found was you printing an air duct, nothing on make or model.
