I'm guessing overall reduction in number of models offered as well as total model stagnation as we close in on the final years of IC motorcycle sales. On one hand some wont want to own what is about to become obsolete but on the other hand many will see it as their last chance to buy a brand new future classic collector bike? Of course this will all depend on how good replacement technology becomes ....If what is being produded by then is even better? Then fewer will desire to hand on to obsolete IC bikes. As it stand E motorcycles are quite a long way off from being as attractive to own and ride compared to IC...you almost have to be a radical environmentalist to pay more for less (less in most catagories ...other than raw torque that is)
All the hype about the world converting to electric cars and bikes doesn't reflect reality. Current percentage of electric cars on the road? 3%. Electric bikes have a tiny fraction of that percentage. What the politically inclined are ignoring is how the vast percentage of motorsports fans don't want electric. We don't care that a Tesla Plaid is faster than any other car south of the 9 second class. Final thought- if you believe the oil industry is simply going to roll over and let the world convert to electric vehicles, you'd be missing the largest story not being told.
The madness of woke Tech with MotoGP, will cost them dearly! We do not accept the wining of a electric lawnmower on two wheels! The sound of a MotoGP bike can never be replaced with a woke system that will go broke! That is like a blue mark on a virgin!
loyal suzuki fan just bought a new 1000 and a 750 i am sorry but i will never buy an electric bike from no manufacturer would prefer to ride a chinese gas engine bike than a japanese electric bike got to draw the line somewhere
Electric racing motorcycles are gay! The sound of the bikes are one of the main draws to motor sports. And if you’re not completely programmed you know that the vast amount of electricity is produced with coal and natural gas, not to mention the destructive nature of the mining required to obtain the rare resources required to make batteries. And then you have the issue with disposal of the toxic batteries.
Banning the combustion engine will absolutely destroy racing. . . Look at the massive hit F1 took just by going Hrybrid. They lost 30-50% of their viewership. Also, what they never admit is that lithium electric technology is so bad for the environment, a hell of a lot more than combustion engines. They've barely scraped the surface of combustion technology and it's an absolute travesty to end it prematurely. Not only is lithium tech terrible for the environment, it also has components that are 85% slave traded. A combustion is recyclable where is lithium batteries can only be chucked in land fill. The racing will be boring to watch as the sound of the current gp bikes and racing combustion engines in general is 80% of why people go to watch in person. Thanks FIA for absolutely f*cking an awesome sport, YOUVE DONE IT AGAIN!!
Don’t know what is going on within Suzuki, but I have noticed that any new bike they bring out just isn’t up to power with its competitors. Sad really because the GSX r I owned a few years back was brilliant.

The current GSX-R1000R is completely differant to the previous model & I know because I designed it! Sadly you've never seen it in its fully race winning edition. Because Suzuki broke a contractual agreement. Meaning 10yrs+ of race testing & development was never given to either the factory or teams. With this massive data missing from the bike which Suzuki NEVER designed. They didn't understand the bike & still don't today. So many factors they missed on both the roadbike and GP units. I think it’s not just the ban of engine ,the new mot noise law of 68 db in 2030 will make most combustion engine bikes unable to be motd ,I do think tho there going to be some sort of mitigation, weather that be higher road tax and insurance to a point we’re only the rich can afford it .otherwise the bikes being built now are only for a short period ,and ppl are not going to happy when they 20.000 pound dream bike they saved and saved for is deemed to noisy,68 db is an average conversation,it will be law by 20/30 just let that sink in ,and then think of millions bikes being scrapped, maybe a good time to develop replacement e motors just for the bikes that ppl have spent a lot of money on ,maybe the manufacturer of the bikes will let you part x you combustion engine,I don’t really see how this is not going to cause absolute mayhem
Bautista now at #1 when racing for ducati team. Suzuki got a huge talent when discovery him.😊
Wrong
They are about to cop a big fine for breaches of environmental law
I'll never watch ebike racing
loyal suzuki fan just bought a new 1000 and a 750 i am sorry but i will never buy an electric bike from no manufacturer would prefer to ride a chinese gas engine bike than a japanese electric bike got to draw the line somewhere
2 strokes now 4 strokes, all the fun is going squeezed out in the name of sustainability, not a happy bunny.
Hope I never have to live in a world without cumbustion engines ....... Fire & Gasoline !!
for the EU they are talking "Just" about Car engines, Not Bikes.
I think their street bike lineup is very stale. Can't be selling very well. I think this is a cost cutting measure.
Interesting take on the withdrawal 👍🏻
It means the end of motorcycles, EV crap, where does the electricity come from.
EVs are more unsustainable than ICE tech in the long run. My 2 newest bikes are both Suzukis with sweet IC engines, pity for this decision.
One of the most bullschiff terms I hear over and over is "sustainability", a word rendered meaningless by misuse and overuse.
"We've determined that your comment here is unsustainable so we will have to deduct some of your carbon credits from the CBDC wallet assigned to you."
I don't understand why the oil companies and the big car and bike companies aren't fighting back on this nonsense internal combustion ban!?
WEF
long time Suzuki rider, first time commenter - HAHAHAHAHHHAAHAHAHAAAA!!!
Will they enter WSBK?
This could be a possible future video!
Suzuki’s are raced here in MotoAmerica, There’s a tall rider named Jake Lewis who rides tf outta that bike to try in be in the top 5 👌🏾
@@NudaMan Didn’t Sean Dylan Kelly win the AMA supersport championship with Suzuki last season?
no WSBK is dangerous
A company can do as they please MotoGP needs a dollar cap.
I think F1 is losing its viewership because its just not exciting to watch in my opinion. Motogp is exciting to watch so who knows
@Bikes of Rye yea that definitely doesn't help but I know for a fact they took a heavy hit when they went to hybrid
Very interesting and it does make you think 🤔 Anyway on a good note it was great to see you today at the Super Sausage.
Nice one for coming and saying hello it meant a lot 👍🏼
Don’t know what is going on within Suzuki, but I have noticed that any new bike they bring out just isn’t up to power with its competitors. Sad really because the GSX r I owned a few years back was brilliant.
The gsxr was such a popular bike. Still is very sought after in the used bike markets. The competition though is so strong
Lmao the new L7 Makes at least 185 at the rear wheel with a reflash and full exhaust, that’s without a air filter too and the fact the new Gsxr 1000 has a fuel gauge has me sold🙏🏾 I can ride all day without worrying about fuel
Suzuki has great sales for their cars outside the US. They suffer under the insane regulations here and in Europe. Suzuki makes good quality for a low price. Unfortunately the middle class who buy their products are under an all out assault from above. Bye bye middle class, bye bye Suzuki.
Nice evaluation, thought it was click bait. Well done.
Was click bait... only it also delivered 😉
Do you think horse owners whinged about cars and the fact no one would ever use them? 🙄
Brilliant article by the way. This makes some sense of a sad decision
moto gp and tv was the social media decades ago
the social media of 2022 is completely different and suzuki doesnt need moto gp to sell bikes, rather they should invest that money on 2022 social media
Electric soulless junk
While I hate hearing it, it actually makes sense, and weather we like it or not things are changing at a rapid rate. From what I’ve read the strict Euro 5 emissions standard has had a major impact on a lot of brands.
I thought it was exhaust issues.
Useful info. Ta very much.
Very sad if lose proper noisy bike engines.
Your videos are like brain candy please keep up the awesome work brother👌
We talk about electric motorcicle or bike,Ducati is already ahead!!
I e-bikes look like that Ducati..I’m all in
I recon you could be on to something here. 🤔
Just to correct you. It will not become illegal to sell ICE engines in Britain, just petrol and Diesel engines. I also don’t actually know anyone who’s watched a motoE race
What other type of ICE are there then?

Im planning on buying a 2024 Hayabusa, is that a safe choice or should i go with a different brand.
Id take my money nd buy the cleanest 1999 Hayabusa you can find since it does about 215mph bone stock once the engine is broken in lol. Fuck new bikes entirely.
@@multishit6664 lol, no it doesn't.
@@NANA-lq5md LOL ok sure buy the 2024 one and enjoy the Nerf version wtf do I know.
@@multishit6664 you obviously don't know the top speed lol.
@@NANA-lq5md M8.. in that era we had Fastbikes magazine videos with the busa pulling to 215 and plenty of videos since of people pulling to 214-15 on a bone stock busa once its got a few miles on the engine it really opens up. Tuned its a deathtrap...we will never see another era like that everything is limited to 186mph some even slower.
Back in the day when Moto GP was racing at Indianapolis they had a E bike class that ran last, everyone was leaving so I decided to stay and see if they could entertain me! Well to my surprise I was amazed, the speed, the sound and the competition was the highlight of the day! Cheers!
Well you are literally one of a kind.
@@mach5zx10r Thanks you made me smile, hold on to the GSXR!
@@joewahrerMotorcycleMan 😀. Been a while, now ZX10R & Panigale V4 😉
Honestly though I used to race F2000 and I don’t no anyone that enjoys Formula E, actually we all pretty much despise it. I need gears, sound and an intimate connection with a machine.
Wishful thinking...
E bikes hug the beef
🏍👍
Maybe Suzuki’s sales didn’t increase as they’d hoped because they haven’t really changed anything on the GSXR in over 10 years. Fact is that we are led the believe motorcycle sales are hitting record levels.
I will be building the bike next year in its fully Spec. It's something very differant to what your used too
@@Starfield6824 fair enough. Suffice it to say… lots more could have been done and I’m sure it would have manifested itself in sales and excitement from the buying public.
meanwhile chinese makers have gone crazy with innovation and design.
They still have that Fugly frontend on their GSXR's for too long and it's time to upgrade the look.
Once we go all out EV I'm done riding I'll take up fishing if I want quiet. Engine notes play a massive part for me.
I think you're incorrect. Racing has always been about race on Sunday sell on Monday. Suzuki has been supplying crap bikes to customers for years. They're well behind the competition
Yes I pretty much hint at that in the video. I pretty much state its not worth while Suzuki investing into MotoGP to try and win as an effect on sales won't be felt immediately and that MotoE is the future
Crap bikes 🙃 all of the big four over engineer there engines and frames etc… wtf are you talking about?!?! Where did bmw get there engine design from for the S1000RR?!?! Crap bikes my ass!
@@NudaMan Yup. Anyone who isn't fanboy of specific brand says that suzukis are most reliable bikes and ducatis the worst.
Crap bike huh well what does that make aprilia 8 years 1 win
@@NudaMan
That’s partially correct for the gen 1 s100rr However not correct for Gen 4
It’s the way forward unfortunately mate
Electric motorcycles are great and it's strange nothing has improved in motogp to lessen the damage caused since 4 stroke engines.
maybe suzuki should actually build a new bike. their bikes have been unchanged since 2005
Moto GP is like modern F1 anyway.. Suzuki was always the "dream any one can afford" and WERA or other smaller novice entry racing is where they shine. Suzuki dominated various other classes of motorsport racing for decades.
stunters have ruined the sport bike world.
What is inside a battery??? Worse then gas.
Lost its cool since Shwantz left
