If I ever get the resources/chance, it's been sitting up on that shelf behind it for a while and I haven't been messing with it, but I might have to do it sometime.
WhammyP-50 the only cosmetic work I did was kinda flattening the front wire mesh a bit and cleaning the siren. The only other work I had to do was fix the collector ring brushes, clean the rings, and wire it up.
Nice!, and just like the one behind my house 😱❗, i can hear it on 12 volts, and without my hearing aids in. I bet its louder on 36 VDC!
It’s definitely 12 volts or higher
Awesome! It sounds like one of those German 3 Port sirens on that amount of power.
Thank you! And yes it does!
MadisonCountySirens yes i love this video and the asc t128 and the t135 from asc sirens imy favorite tornado siren whit a built-in flower funnel

Sounds like the siren is sick
It's High powered.

The sound sounds really cool and I like your siren! And I love this sound so much how much sirens do you have?
Wow even rotating!
OWS Crazy1 yep, I finally got around to cleaning and wiring up the collector rings
If you listen to it long enough, it kind of sounds like a Siratone at full pitch lol. Must be the undertone or something
Incredible!
oklahoma storm chaser thank you!
How loud was it?
Why does it sound like a Chrysler air raid siren?
sounds like an allertor
Nah
And we see it has a problem running on this power, otherwise lovely siren you have.
After further inspection of the battery cart used to start firetrucks, I noticed it was wired in parallel, so the siren was only getting 12 volts.
Yikes, though that thing would need around 100V+ to run normally
T128s run on 48VDC
What does the tag serial say
Nice
Nice! Still sounds pretty cool on 12V. Will you ever make another video of it running off of series wired batteries?

What is the little circle hatch on top
So that helps them set it up on the pole or in this case on some wood
Wow it doesn’t look like it was damaged at all! Did you do some handy dandy repairs or wat?

What’s the diameter of the rotor?
I'm not sure, I would check for you but it's now on a shelf about 25 feet in the air
It’s 25 pieces of diameter is of the scientific book
I was hoping that it could happen
Nice sounding
