I have a 2015 Ram 5.7 Hemi too, I did the muffler delete and 5” Carven Exhaust tips running the S&B intake with the Edge Pulsar chip and tuner!!!! I love these trucks!!!
That’s awesome! We also ended up doing a cold air intake and edge pulsar tuner! Truck gets way better gas mileage and is actually pretty quick with just those changes!
When you cut the rear of the muffler off, did you have any issue with accidentally cutting into the pipe that you’re not suppose to? I’m trying to do this myself but haven’t tried unbolting the rusty bolts yet and figured I’d have to go the sawzall route lol
It sounds exactly like my 2020 Ram 1500 Rebel. I installed a B2 Fabrications muffler delete pipe when she had 200 miles on the clock. The stock muffler was huge. It sleeps in a dumpster now.
With the muffler delete and keeping the resonators on the truck, did you have issues with drone in the cab? Was it pretty chill? I had a durango RT and did a delete but no drone issue keeping the res.. I ask because it's my first truck (2018 5.7 crew cab)
Drone is very minimal to hardly any in the highway. Now since we deleted the resonators it’s a little louder on the highway but still takes it on road trips with no issues at all.
My dad has 2004 Dodge Ram 4.7 and he was going to fix exhaust then after when I was checking then my dad said the exhaust behind it was burning the tire under then he said he might get new exhaust so I told him yes let’s do it
Why would someone not put their license plate on the bumper but zip or it to the grille which looks 10x worse and it is mov f and scratching the grille and actually blocking air getting to radiator and transmission cooler.. people hate the license plate on the bumper but that looks horrible lol 😂🤣

Sounds like my 2005 hemi straight pipe i love it,who needs mufflers when straight pipe sounds much better

Oooh wait, I see. You cut all the ends off and then removed the bolts. Smart idea!
Correct, if you use the sawzall just cut as close to the muffler as you can. And removing the rest was pretty easy with some big Channel locks.

It is a Magnaflow direct-fit muffler delete.
.I don't mind the factory I would not do it . there's alot of trucks that make noise and you see them taking off slow looks funny .

It’s still pretty hot where we’re at. But once it’s gets cold I sure can.
