In this video we continue the progress on the NBS Silverado Single cab Dually build. The Dually bed now has all of the wholes filled and I wanted to put a coating on the bottom before installing it on the truck. Kohen used the dewalt grinder with a wire brush to rough up the bed and frame. I started with a bed liner type coating and while it did ok you are going to need probably 5 cans total to do a long bed. I then switched to a rubberized undercoating and did like the way it laid down better. After getting the bottom of the bed coated to prevent future rust we move to the frame. I like por15 for a frame coating because I can use a brush to lay it on and that doesn't make a mess in the shop or garage. After a few hours of painting the rusty frame it looks so much better and should look good for years to come. This truck did get a new set of lowering shocks and really anytime you go this low you need to add shock extenders or shock relocation brackets. These brackets make a huge difference in the way your shock operates. Don't just buy a lowering shock. That doesn't fix the geometry of the shock. This Dually build is coming together slowly but will be a really neat truck when we get it all together. Hit the Comments and let me know what you think.......
