@LewisgardenservicesLtd can you or anyone else tell me how to remove the screw which goes into the bottom of the motor from the gearbox side please? I've found the bearings have gone and can't figure how to get it out, turning it simply in turn moves the motor and blades. Thanks in advance, love the channel, keep up the good work!
Hi, when the bearings went in mine they completely went and caused the motor shaft to snap at the motor, I had the same problem, I jammed something in the gears to stop it turning as I had nothing to loose and it came undone. Maybe try putting blades in vice? Hopefully someone can give you a definite answer to prevent damage. The shaft and motor is one piece so couldn't fix mine but has been a great parts machine. Good luck🤞
@@LewisgardenservicesLtd I went with a few pieces of wood in the blades to stop them moving and with the impact driver came un done a treat! Thanks again Nathan! 👍👍👍
If I'm on a job all day I'll grease it once during that day, every now and then I'll drop the back plate of and clean out and re grease, they soon push it out on full revs or turns to muck during wet conditions. Maybe I overdo it😬how often you thinking?
@@LewisgardenservicesLtd lol I just had to chuck a hlkm 145 in the bin as the gears came apart from not greasing it Iam not in tune to greasing more iam going to try every 5 hours use now you've said this I'll be spending alot of money now on gear lube lol iam guessing that tub you had is cheaper than the stihl one ? What's it called
@@whitevoodooman7276 😬keep chucking it in...just standard grease cartridge that fits in a grease gun, cheaper than Stihl stuff but never had an issue when used regularly, fit some grease nipples or just push it flush over the hole and pump away 😅
Yea they do...I'd pretty much moved over to echo petrol gear before getting into the battery stuff. Guess they all suffer from breakdowns tho. Thanks for watching 👍
Thanks, this video just saved me a few quid .
👍it's a fiddly little job but easy enough. Cheers
@@LewisgardenservicesLtd yep not sure if I would have tried if I hadn't watched your video. Always enjoy your videos 👍
