I think one thing Indian political system can adopt from the UK is the practice of Shadow Cabinets. Will push opposition leaders to actually read up and debate on issues that matter rather than just reacting to sitting government policies.
The entire Indian political system is literally based on the British bicameral parliamentary system! Unfortunately, it's been diluted by the endemic corruption, nepotism, cronyism, and religiously-based vote bank politics that is unique to India!
The Hindu is more anti India than the Labour party of UK😊
