I just watched the entire show for the first time ever in 2024 after spending my whole life thinking it would be dumb and I’d hate it… man was I wrong. I’ve lived and breathed Desperate Housewives every minute of every day for the last 3 weeks 😭 genuinely one of the best shows EVER made!

It's fascinating that how I've met my fiance and he was the first who introduced me to this show, later together moved into the UK I am a single woman watching this show for the 4th time in my life, and nothing changed in my heart! I fall for this show from the beginning, and there is no turn back.
I bought all the DVDs to this series back when the series was still on the air. Such a great investment because I find myself rewatching it over and over and over again and reliving all the great moments the series gave to us. Bree was an iconic character. Even before the Pilot premiered there was something about Marcia Cross in the promos that really intrigued and it made me want to watch the series premiere. I never regretted it since.
I remember watching this show and loving it. I did not get into right at the start, but more towards the end and then later watched my sibling's Desperate Housewives collection to catch up.

Gaby has been raped and she lived for years with a blind husband and got baby LILI adopted and retired and Juanita exchanged with a another baby loosing grace hers daughter ...BREE LOose rex who’s cheated with a whore and terrible children , Suzanne and mike with Monney forced to move away from theirs housse and to do hot streap cleaning on web ... divorced cause trauma from death from the car crush and the mike’s amnesia ...
@@davidmusikreha I agree but Lynette's story was so real, she was a working mother with 5 children who didn't appreciate her, a husband who she clashed with most of the time and to a lot of people that felt like the character they could relate to most
They all suffered in their own way, Bree has had many problems too : with her children, her first husband cheated and got killed, her second killed himself, Orson became a psychopath, she was always unhappy in love, she had troubles with her children that didn't like her, she was an alcoholic and relapsed one time, she got accused of a crime she didn't commit and took the blame, her friends turned their backs on her, she tried killing herself, she has suffered a lot too, they all did
I don't know why I've considered those women OLD at that time?!! 😳They don't have a single wrinkle on their face! Unlike all my girlfriends over 30. Being 15 years older now -this is weird🤨
Garry McHarg I think the producers had a fall out with her and they kicked her out of the show in the earlies; but it would of been nice to see her in this though
Marc was taking her character and sexuality too seriously and was not appropriate with her and she called him out and got fired for it basically. She hurt his pride, he took away her role on a very special show. I love Eddie in the series. She was one of the best characters in the history of TV that you love to hate. Like Negan on the walking dead. Aghhhh
The ending still has me in tears. They did so well on this show. I devoured it in 3 weeks and now I'm lost.
I rewatch the series every summer... My most favourite series ever.

Nicolette Sheridan left in Season 5. Her and Marc Cherry didn’t get on. I think she ended up suing him.
