Hello UA-cam, I am Malcolm Merlyn. As most of you are aware, there are a lot of different scammers out there and these include Nigerian prince email scammers, Indian tech support scammers, IRS scammers and others. They have been around for over 10 years now and they don’t seem to be going anywhere. After getting a lot of calls, sometimes very early in the morning I have decided enough is enough. If the government won’t shut down these pests then I will.
I created some virtual machines and started calling scammers using a fake caller ID. The calls were quite hilarious so I started uploading them on UA-cam; this was great as I was raising awareness about scams while also earning money. In total I have called scammers over ten thousand times in the past year and a half. I created a number of programs to annoy them including a call flooder that can call the scammers many times per minute which overloads their phones.

@Jim sometimes that's not totally out for lunch. An experienced doctor, tech, mechanic or whathave you can often get a sense of what the problem is just with a description
@@NossyDrelich they might get an idea, but they still confirm their diagnosis before telling their client what is wrong. In fact, it is unethical to operate in such a manner.

Keep destroying their machines,these people have no heart.If their government isn't helping to decrease the amount of scammer call centers, they need to be destroyed. (This is one of the consequences of outsourcing).
You should plant a virus program on their computers that redirects their calls back to their own call center.

Floodcall them in a language they don't understand, or in their own language. Redirect their calls to police stations numbers.

Welll...... even if they only get 1 successfull scam of 3000 dollar in 1 month on an average scamcentersize of 10 people in 1 month.... they will still win.
Many of the scammers are rich.
You forget how low cost of living is in these small cities they operate from.
There is so much money in these scamsystems that they can easily afford to bribe local police politicians etc.
ONLY way to stop this once and for all, is to get your government to put pressure on the Indian government.
Example if the west added a 10% tariff on all goods to and from India, until India government can prove that they actually are zeroing these scamcenters.
@@ruben7937 No, it ISN'T the only way. True, they only need 1 out of 1000 to come out ahead, but if enough call flooders troll them incessantly, that will not be possible.
And I doubt if India's government will take much notice of New Zealand's government, or any sanctions or tariffs we could impose. It would have to be in conjunction with the governments of much larger countries. I would LOVE this to happen, but something tells me it won't be soon, unfortunately.

They can just close, and open up with new numbers in a few days.
And they do not need 1 in 1000 to be successfull.
I said 1 syccessfull scam in 1 month.
That would equal to maybe: 10 scammers x 30 days x 14 hours x scamattempts per hour.
So:
4200 x how many attempts thry are able to during each hour.
So maybe just need 1 successfull scam in up to 50.000 attempts, to cover their costs.
And they can just close shop, and reopen with new numbers and new computers.
Almost no cost for them.
So yes these flooders are very annoying for them.
But only way to get this problem fixed more permantly is to pressure your government into taking action against indian government.
At end of the day.. it is india government that is responsebile for harboring these criminal syndicates.

But the news headline would get global if NZ started to enroll tariffs on India in such a way.
But the clue is for several countries to join in such tariffmeassures.
Example EU or US are blocs which would be heavy enough alone.

I'd love to see an army of 10,000 a.i. bots trolling the hell out of these thieving buggers. Sadly, that won't happen until people like Jim are given official recognition and official backing.

Thanks for keeping them busy! Next time, you don't just want to flood their lines, you want to cripple the network so try to corrupt the bios, like try flashing it with a random image or even the same model as the system but then shut it down halfway. Best case scenario they will need to replace the chip. Worst case scenariox they will panic and have to restore it with a flash drive.

Not all heroes wear capes. All you guys in the scambaiting community are absolute champions. Love watching your videos and showing them to my elderly parents that get these calls and emails so they are aware. My mother now tries to play with them and keep them online as long as possible.

I love watching y’all give the scammers viruses or do something that breaks their computers. And the call flooder is great too.
Also, it wouldn’t hurt my feelings any if y’all could steal money from the scammers and use it to pay for your computer tech and overhead. Like a Robin Hood. Steal from them and use it to keep destroying the scammers and bad people. :)

Best bet is to automate the whole thing, build an AI model that calls and holds the entire conversation with the scammer - it’s more frustrating for the scammers if they realize they aren’t talking with a human.
