There are very few left now, this could be a great ressurection of the ride experience. This whole ride concept is so versatile, they should be able to sell of a lot of these.
They already have purchased an Axis coaster, and both the original and this layout look amazing and super fun! Hopefully, the new Six Flags will purchase these coasters for their parks, as Canada's Wonderland has needed an intense coaster for a long time now!
@lightningboat One FEC in Saudi purchased one. It will be small, but it gives a few more people than influencers a chance to ride. Assuming it lives up to what everyone has said thus far and stays running, large-scale parks will purchase it. But I personally think this FEC is a real proof of concept compared to the prototype.
This is too cool. I showed this to my dad and he brought up a really good point about the Axis coaster. It's absolutely perfect for smaller parks that don't have a ton of money or space, but just want as much thrill. It allows the park to build simple layouts that are tight and easily built that have the same amount of thrilling factors and moments as a coaster with huge layouts.
I love how trippy the layout looks and the fact that you never know how the trains will behave based on the track itself, which makes the experience seem so unpredictable. I hope we see more POVs like this one here, but for different layouts such as the one at that IAAPA event with that loop.
I've said it before and I'll say it again.... Put one of these where the vortex was at King's Island. S&S bought out arrow which had housed 2 legendary coasters on that plot of land. Bring on the nostalgia!
My local park is KI and I would LOVE a custom one of these in Vortex plot paying homage to the defunct Bat and could easily beat the inversion record as well!
This would be a great replacement for T3. It would give Kentucky Kingdom their looping coaster and suspended coaster. I think it would boost their attendance as well.
There’s a lot of theming potential here. You could do wooden barrels like in Seven Dwarves mine train but with a waterfall fake out drop over the edge before you magically “fly” lol
This looks absolutely incredible, especially the hangtime going into the mid course brake run. Very creative concept if they can actually pull it off. Unfortunately it's made by S&S and nearly every coaster they touch are notorious for having maintenance issues and lots of downtime. I'm rooting for this project to ultimately succeed but I won't hold my breath, there's a reason this prototype was unveiled four or five years ago (if I remember correctly) and to this day no park has bought one. Reliability is key.
The reason no one’s bought one isn’t because of reliability, it’s because it was introduced just before the pandemic, which is exactly when parks were trying to save money, not spend money on a new coaster. The timing was terrible.
its is funny how much of this is a visual thing, like you could just design a coaster where the track follows the path these cars taking and it would be a normal roller coaster with the same forces. but it does look cool
I wonder if this layout is affordable because it is relatively short. Hopefully some parks will purchase it, because I am not going to Saudi Arabia to ride one of these.
Maybe. But Cedar Point doesn't make a habit of introducing brand new ride models. There are a few exceptions but generally they wait for other parks to try a new model and once the model has proven itself reliable and effective they just buy the biggest version. If Cedar Point gets an Axis coaster they'll probably wait for other parks to do one and then they'll just build one 40% larger and faster than the current largest one. It is intriguing to think how big an Axis coaster could be. I mean, I doubt they'll build them to a hypercoaster height but who knows? That's be pretty wild.
It looks like they aren't just using the swinging cars as a gimmick which is good. In fact, if all your car did was go over and under the track when it would otherwise be inverting that'd be a buzz kill. It looks like the layout has some good moments on its own and that the rotating track is done strategically and not just for that to be the point of the ride.
Thinking about it, designing layouts for this coaster must be very difficult because of the fact you have to count for the car's rotation around the axis. Crazy stuff.
Here is m concern about these rides… Are they going to not allow single riders? I mean having one seat empty will really effect the way it works as the seat will be heavy to one side. I haven’t seen any of the test rides on the prototype have a single rider :(
To my understanding, whether you have one rider or two per row should not significantly effect the spin- you will still rotate when you're supposed to.
Concept is awesome, but let’s talk capacity cuz that ride was only 12 people per train. That might be why it hasn’t blown up as quickly as we thought it would.
Omg if the coaster Gods hear my plea. Please Axis treatment NINJA at SFMM I truly hope this becomes the equivalant of RMC treatment with WOODIES... THIS JUST MAKES SO MUCH SENSE!!!!! Yes I get it, "omg but ninja is a classic...." While true, lets be freakin honest! We've had our fun on it for many years, like all the older rickety woodies, lets start making AXIS treaments on suspended swinging coasters such as NINJA! And what better than a terrain beast such as ninja its self! The possiblities are ENDLESS!!!!!
Lake compounce could move their matinence facilities to the parking lot side, then build one of these there on the mountain 😮 Also Lake Compounce needs a suspending coaster and a spinning coaster. I don’t know if you could call this that but that be hitting 2 birds with one stone for them.
Thats a lot of weight for the single point of contact and then you add in the forces going in different directions, i think parks are going to want to see the realiabilty first
Kings Dominion needs to get an S&S Terrain Axis coaster or a Gerstulaur Terrain Inverted Launch Coaster to bring back Volcano with a new detailed model mountain. I would rather scrap the entire B&M Wing project to revive Volcano converting it into a Gerstulaur Terrain Inverted Launch Coaster or scrap the entire B&M Wing Project to Revive Volcano with a new modeled volcanic mountain converting it into an S&S Terrain Axis Coaster. Coasters built by both S&S and Gerstulaur are affordable and they won't rip you off, burning your money like what Intamin did.
Seems like a tame simulation. I hope they ask a lot more of the actual ride because it has the ability to offer sooo much more of an experience with better programming (of the axis feature). Go for our throats initially and then scale it back if it's too much for people to enjoy. Let's live a little fellas.
No one else talking about how insanely realistic this simulation looks
For a second I thought it was real
These guys are living with NoLimits Coasters version 9
True@@muffels6410
you cleary have no eyes if you dont see how unbelievably realistic this is. the swinging to the wind sfx, its all there@enzodiscoverymoonlight
@@thedman1696 it's probably unreal engine 5.
This looks like a reimagined suspended coaster which I love.
There are very few left now, this could be a great ressurection of the ride experience. This whole ride concept is so versatile, they should be able to sell of a lot of these.
A new Big Bad Wolf for Busch if they weren’t building a deeply underwhelming B&M Family Invert.
This is the most excited I've been for a new coaster model since 4D was announced
That upside-down hang into the brake-run is mental
Revolutionary game changer for the entire industry. It’s everything in one!
Don't think it'll be too long before a park purchases this sort of layout. Looks insanely fun!

Finally, Eejanaika has a runner-up for turning a brake run into an element!
MID-COURSE brake run.
@@DaveDzRochNY Any brake run.
@@samuelitoooooI'd argue Monster's brakes in the middle make the ride better (insane amounts of hang time in the overbank and last inversion)
I love how trippy the layout looks and the fact that you never know how the trains will behave based on the track itself, which makes the experience seem so unpredictable. I hope we see more POVs like this one here, but for different layouts such as the one at that IAAPA event with that loop.
This is just the beginning. There are so many opportunities for layouts.
This would be a perfect Big Bad Wolf resurrection coaster for BGW 🐺
Everyone is talking about the brake run but that first drop looks absolutely insane! I can't even imagine what unique sensation that must feel like.
This would especially be insane on a dark ride
That's exactly what I was thinking, you could do some really cool stuff indoors with this.
The way the cars hit the brake run upside down 😂 it looks awesome. Im excited to see some more pop up
MID-COURSE brake run.
@@DaveDzRochNY welldone 😂😂
That’s so cool! It’s basically a new gen 4d coaster!
I've said it before and I'll say it again....
Put one of these where the vortex was at King's Island. S&S bought out arrow which had housed 2 legendary coasters on that plot of land. Bring on the nostalgia!
A custom layout hyper version of one of these would drop jaws..... I'll start sketching :D!
This coaster still looks nuts
My god this coaster is insane!
I really hope these take off, seems like an amazing concept! Fingers crossed they ride and operate well.
I love how the mid course brakes still has the car spinning.
This Is Like A Normal Coaster Mixed In With An Inverted! 🤩
This is the modern version of the Arrow swinging suspended roller coaster.
Big Bad Wolf 2 🤷♂️
I love it
BGW should have got one of these! It reminds me a lot of a suspended roller coaster, like the Big Bad Wolf
Im crossing my fingers that my small home park Six Flags Discovery Kingdom gets this beast!
That drop looks wicked! I can imagine getting yanked over, to then be under the track!
Holiday Park Germany needs this for their Tomorrowland area. They said its gonna be an adult thrill coaster, something "never seen before"
The engineering behind this thing looks fascinating.
My local park is KI and I would LOVE a custom one of these in Vortex plot paying homage to the defunct Bat and could easily beat the inversion record as well!
Guys hear me out, this is a crazy bats replacement at phantasialand indoors with worlds best theming
Man every time I see this thumbnail I just immediately think planet coaster is getting something new
ITS SO INERVATIVE
This looks sick. Kings Dominion finally found there replacement for Anaconda.

BGW should have gotten one of these as a spiritual successor to Big Bad Wolf instead of that family B&M invert.
This feels like something Silver Dollar City would get
looks awesome for Valleyfair
I'm begging Kings Island to fill their Vortex plot with one of these. A custom layout would be so cool
SF DISCOVERY KINGDOM NEEDS THIS THEY HAVENT GOTTEN A MAJOR THRILL COASTER IN YEARS NOW
kennywood needs this
Disney in california or Universal in Florida BETTER be planning a Spiderman Coaster with this ride system
great video !
That’s first drop tho😮💨😮💨😮💨

The foliage looks so realistic.

why is the one of the best animated coaster teasers ever lmao!? They spent some money on it
I WANT TO RIDE THIS!!!!!!
Dollywood needs this or a Mack extreme spinner in the plot where Slidewinder used to be for their next thrill coaster
Wow!
This looks like those coaster povs with a 360 camera mounted...Except you actually get to ride it!
fingers crossed a park in the US gets one
its is funny how much of this is a visual thing, like you could just design a coaster where the track follows the path these cars taking and it would be a normal roller coaster with the same forces. but it does look cool
Is it just momentum (and releasing a brake in the pivot) that makes you flip/spin? Or is there a motor in the pivot point?
I wonder if this layout is affordable because it is relatively short. Hopefully some parks will purchase it, because I am not going to Saudi Arabia to ride one of these.
Maybe the new BGW coaster?? Would pay perfect tribute to big bad wolf.
Ouu Hershey park should add this to there lineup
I feel like this is the next generation multi-dementional coaster(X2)

Alright cmon six flags I know you wanna. Literally every park in the world could benefit from this ride
How often you get hang time in a midcourse?
That crazy.
Busch Gardens Williamsburg should have used this model for the rumored new Big Bad Wolf for 2025.
If this went to great adventure which would have more downtime the axis or kingda ka
Is Magic Mountain getting one??
Is this reprogrammable? Can the park's change how it rides like more or less spinning depending on the day or the event?
Seaworld or Disney is going to take one

For a second, you would think this animation is IRL. What on EARTH are S&S using?! This is the closest animation I've ever seen to real life!
Blender is free and widely used to create renders and animations more photo-realistic than this animation.
Looks great, but with all those moving parts it can't be cheap to install one of these.
