I'm not familiar with that family name. It's great that you still have family here and get to return. It's a great place to live. We are very happy here. I can't believe it will be 2 years already in October.
Oh I love this. Can you tell us more about the statue of the traveler. I couldn’t see the words clearly. Also, my heart ❤️ is full seeing D’Aquila 😘. What type of store is it?
Hi Linda, the statue was for all the locals who migrated to the US and Canada. They all collected money to have it put in town. I'll try to get a picture of exactly what it says for you. The D'Aquila store is a small grocery store. It was also a bakery but they closed the bakery part last October. Sadly the cost of running the bakery part was too much and they had to close it. Everyone said they made the best bread.

My family contributed to the statue and I was there in 1985 when it was unveiled. There is another copy of the statue in Montreal, in St Leonard (where a lot of Italian immigrants lived at the time). Thank you both for the images of Vinchiaturo. If you ever run into an older man named Berardino Baratta, he's supposed to look, sound, and act exactly like my deceased father. I'd love to see a clip of him if you do! BTW, my grandparents' old house was at Via Giardini 8. I think that's at the other end of town from your home. Keep the content coming! Ciao!
Hi Chuck & Ben !!! Finally Found You After 30+ Years !!! Hope You Read This Comment !!! How Can We Contact Each Other ??? Remember Forest Hill Road Days With Mark, Paula & Beauzette ??!?!?!

Love your videos ...the Summer Is here
Thank you. I've been just enjoying the summer but have to do more videos.
😊
My husband was born there. My parents came from there. We've visited many times in summer. We love it. We have the DeLucrezia Family there.
