Red card is a noob trap, limiting it would be super troll, an yugioh equivalent would be if konami decided that the humble sentry and pot of generosity were too strong for the game and emergency limited them this month
@@rafflesiaandfriends exactly why i said it shouldn't be banned. I just hate it cause my fav deck is venusaur and i always get red carded and lose my evos 💀
It doesnt seem like theyre balancing cards. Theyre just printing cards from the original base set. I think going forward, the only thing they will do is just not print cards because of how powerful it is. The original professor oak lets you draw 7 cards. Its balanced in 60 card decks, but in 20 card decks, thats just too strong. So they instead took bill and renamed it prof oak research for pocket. The bigger problem going forward is going to be once they start allowing manipulating the discard pile. Right now you cant touch it, but later on you will be able to pull trainer cards, pokemon, and even energy from the dicard pile. And thats going to make the broken cards like Misty even more powerful. You can use Misty to full charge an Articuno, and even after it gets knocked out, you can use Itemfinder and Energy retrieval to get the energy back and do it again with the next Pokemon.
