Just to clarify If a deck is actually I think unusable i'll straight up admit it. This deck can feel great when it works, but is not the best version of venusaur by far. I just felt like I was hating a little too hard at the beginning lol

The problem is how often you have bad games with a deck like this. Managing to find all t2 and t3 pokemon before drawing a third of your deck just isnt likely. The mewtwo player drew a terrible hand. Started with jynx. No gardevoir by turn 5. Mewtwo got its 2nd energy by turn 2. No sabrina use despite you being wide open with no attack on mon2. This is why you won. Mewtwo basically failed at what you are trying to do despite only having a single basic-t2 avolution and at the same time failing to attach 2 energy to mewtwo/using sabrina amd swing away. The deck IS that bad and gives you bad hands. With mewtwo you draw any 2 basocs amd a pokeball and you cannot miss having a mewtwo with like 3 energy average by turn 3. And it is still worse than pikachu. This deck does not have a chance. While you sit attaching 4 energy on venusaur they can do over 180dmg or 150dmg for metwo. Whatever was up front is gone amd they are swinging into ivysaur/bulbasaur and you frantically hoping to get that 4th leaf in before it is over again :p

No you were right. Way too inconsistent. It is terrible. It cannot win a big tournament. This is slightly better but it is not good enough. Please continue to be honest and dont listen to people flaming. I have tried lilligant amd exegg and they are both mediochre low energy options that are fine but not great. We hope for better support mons and evolution searchers. Still they are more comsistent and leaves more spots for support/trainers. With no tutoring for the t1-2 mons having 2 lines just ismt viable. It is way too inconsistent. I had most success with like lilligant as it is low energy (only 1 loss). 1 retreat. It isnt oneshotted by mewtwo 2cost attack atleast. Charizard is auto loss. Pikachu is loss if they full field by their 3rd turn kinda. Just to be clear.. 2 butterfree and 1 venusaur and erica is available on average by turn 8-9. So lets chill xD Overall vrnusaur lacks support and tutoring. Healing isnt good enough into the agressive meta. They get 1 win from knocking out your first mon while giving venu 4 energy and knocks venu for last 2. God forbid they have sabrinas. ... Starmie/pika/mew2 is still strongest by a fair margin. This is a solid top 20 deck.

This seems really neat! :o I think I'd like to see a version running something other than lapras though -- something with lower energy requirements ...maybe just non-EX lapras? So you have some better/consistent turn 1/2 options. And Misty can still highroll and be useful if it dumps a lot of extra energy onto a lapras :o plus, y'know, non-ex deck means opponent will have to get through 300+ HP at a minimum

Love Venusaur EX, probably my favorite cards of the 3 expansions right now, but I feel like adding another evolution line, despite being beneficial to the deck, is just too slow, and has too much potential to be a dead card(s) in the opening hand. The only time it works is when you open with both Petilil and Bulbasaur in the opening hand. Any other variation it's just too slow against the meta monsters like Pikachu EX, which are fully set up and ready to sweep by their second or third turn. I replaced the 4 cards (Liligant line) with 2 Meowth and 2 more trainers, and it wasn't better per se, but it made the deck far more consistent.

I like the deck . But it’s annoying when you don’t draw the right cards . And it’s very easy for people to know what you’re gonna do .

Try putting caterpie (these thing can help you pull stage 1 & stage 2 grass pokemon) I use 1 line, liligant 1 line. Execute ex 1 line. Bulbasaur 1 caterpie 4 basic, 2 stage 1, 1 stage 3 The play are getting stage 1 liligant or execute ex as fast as possible and slowly buildup for venuasaur ex

Last 2 diffuculties have gave me a pack 100% of the time. Fyi

Aye congrats on not spending money on this game . I’ve spend like $25 too . I hope this game don’t become greedy because I’m gonna have to drop the game if it gets expensive. I feel like the game would do great if it stays free to play friendly and if you wanna have the fancy art then you can pay money to get those rare arts . And that’s it . I hate pay to win games . I learned my lesson with Naruto ninja blazing .

not saying that it is a good deck now, but pure cyberdark get the biggest boost from this card cause clockwork is just a free spell to search for the discard of cyberdark chimera that also searches regulus, the problem I see with knight and pure cydra is that you´d rather open the clockwork knight and activate it BEFORE commiting to your cyber dragons, you can´t special summon og cyber dragon if you control clockwork knight for example, also the cyber dragon core/herz you used also is no longer usable to contact fuse

I think mainly that the best use of this card is in crystron. Since you could link off smiger and scrap recycler and get the cont spell that searches, also gives you material to discard with Sulfanir, search regulus without sacrificing infinity, plus you could tribute something to use recycler again

Forgot that Wanted was only at 1 in master duel. So the Poplar hit is slightly bigger than what I was thinking, but I still think the deck is overall still mostly fine. Basically the deck is just less consistent.
