As a lover of seoul living in South Korea, I wanna write some activities called Must to do things. In this video, I strongly recommend 'must to do' things,
1. Gyeongbukgung palace
2. visiting hangang park(especially Yeouido, or Banpo) and take a delivery service for Korean barbeque - chicken
3. Bukchon Hanok village - You can go with many nice restaurants between Anguk Statuon and Bukchon. I recommend you to visit Gyeongbukgung palace and Bukchon together.
4. Itaewon and Haebongchon to visit famous restraurants and bar
5. N-seoul tower
6. Hongdae & Yeonnam dong(There are so many good cafes and shopping shops)
7. Seongsu - to visit Seoul forest and the cafe street. And also there are many interior shops selling some pretty goods like dolls, key rings, stickers and so on
8. Hiking Inwangsan - This is popular low mountain in Seoul. You can admire the developed downtown of North Seoul. And you can get a break time doing cafe hopping in Seochon.
So much work, thank you!!
This is so helpful!!! Thank you
very nice recommendations! thanks!

Omg! Best video! Thank you will help us to travel nxt yr to Korea….
Been Seoul many times but missed some of these!! Cheers for the recommendations
Very informative. Thank you!
So great to find this! Definitely gave me a few places to put on my list to visit when I come next spring! Thank you!
Best guide I have seen on youtube :D great work
Just taking Notes for my trip in September
Absolutely the best video on things to do in Seoul by far! Great info and video footage and no super loud annoying background music through the whole thing.
Mate what an incredible vide. You have done such a good job!!! Very thorough and thoughtful. thanks heaps
What a great video! I was born in Seoul in 1980 and was literally found in the trash by a police officer who brought me to an adoptionhome which lead me to the Netherlands where I've been living since then. Due to a couple of reasons I never really shown an interest for the country (mainly because I felt it was somehow disrespectfull for my parents over here, if that makes any sense) and even during my trip through Asia in 2011 i didn't visit. Last year my father passed away and that somehow changed alot in my head and I've finally decided to make a grand visit to my birthcity next year or the year after (depending on the planning). Believe it or not but this was actually the first dedicated korean video I've watched in my life and it brought me to tears immediately.. Since you have the vibe that I'm looking for in videos I'm going to use your channel for my groundwork for the visit and hopefully I'll be able to stand in those places myself soon! Thank you so much in advance!
Wow. What a great comment. I'm so glad to be able to give you a little peek into Seoul.
We have a whole group on Facebook for those traveling to Korea - and also do weekly livestream walking tours. If you're interested, come join us! facebook.com/groups/tastesseoulgood

I will be there in 8 days. I can't wait. Great video
Nice! It's getting chilly in the evenings, surprisingly. I'd pack a sweater just in case.
@@TastesSEOULGood Thank you for the info. I live in Orlando lol
Great video summary of Seoul's best attractions!
Fantastic work! Thank you for sharing.
Thank you! Cheers!
I'm going in a couple of weeks. Your video has been very helpful in ideas for me. I haven't been to Korea in 20 years. Looking forward to it.
Seoul has changed a bit! You’ve nailed some great places, old and new! Thanks for these as we are planning our trip this year post Covid. So helpful!
Have fun! Seoul is always changing and I think some of the info in this video is already outdated and not relevant anymore.
Guess I'll have to do a Part 2 eventually ;)
Very detailed video! Amazing :)
Thanks so much!

감사합니다 환영합니다.
thank you SOOOO much! going to South Korea in April and you have made planning 100 times easier .
You're so welcome! April is such a great time to visit. I hope you have the trip of a lifetime!
Great list of things to do in Seoul.
Thank you!
Really amazing video. Visiting 50 locations and editing everything together is a huge task unlike those top 10s made with stock footage. Brought back some good memories and really want to visit #38.
Awesome video
Wowww looks amazing!!
Thank you. Seoul is an amazing city.

Seoul was the first and only international travel I have had. It was a very great experience especially it was a family trip. I went to Han river on my own and with my sisters during shopping trips. It was sad I was not able to go to more coffee shops or other food places.
In a few days I fly to Seoul! Really not looking forward to the cold however 😅 thanks for this 😀
Thank you! I love your 'k-pop video', so cute ☺
Nice thankyou
Thank you for this video. I haven't been to Korea since 1987. I appreciate learning about many of the sights and activities, so I feel better prepared for my return.

Pronunciation on point. Appreciate that 👌
Thanks! 😃
So beautiful place 😍 😘
Lol, you look awesome when you dance 😁.. i dont think you left something for others in this video.. thank you very muchhh
This….. has everything!!!
I just came back from visiting Seoul. The only thing I honestly feel sad about is the fact that the Hybe Insight museum was closed. I really wanted to see it!
Wow amazing video! You really did a great job at summing up all the hot spots there in Seoul in just a 20 minute video, keep up the good work there. haha that must have taken you quite awhile to take all those shots
Thank you so much!! This video definitely took a long time to film as well as edit. Even injured my ankle while filming it and had to take some time off - but am proud of the result :)
well made. Not just showing yourself all the time like so many others. I can actually see what Soul looks like.
I live in Changwon and have not even set foot in Seoul yet... This video really convinced me to make the trip
Oh my! Yes, Seoul is pretty great. I haven't been to Changwon though. Anything worth vlogging about there?
I've been researching going to korea for our honeymoon and you honestly have the best videos talking about korea. Straight to the point, very useful information and you name all the places you go to. I love it. :) Subscribed immediately.
Thank you so much! :) Very kind of you to say. Congrats on the honeymoon, and do let me know if you have questions while planning your trip!
非常感谢,你帮助了我,我对poo cafe非常感兴趣
Planning a first trip to Seoul where we would be the best place to stay to get to the places you mentioned, thank you.

Omg, your video's helped me a ton in making our itinerary for our upcoming trip to Seoul. Got a few questions though, what time of the year did you go (what did you think of the weather?) + what are public toilets like?
Hi!
I'm glad you find it useful. Have you seen the second part of this video? I just uploaded it a few weeks ago.
ua-cam.com/video/zL3_oeXcYs8/v-deo.html
We also have our travel guide PDF that answers a lot of basic questions.
I live in Seoul, so there are definitely 4 distinct seasons.
Public toilets are easily found, free, and usually clean.
We also have a whole Facebook group with more info!

Good list. We're going for 2 weeks in October (from Thailand) We'll have to pack for winter.
October is usually a great time to visit. I go with sweatshirts, but if you're used to tropical weather, you might need more to wear.
Did you know we also have a PDF full of information to help you plan? You can find it here: www.buymeacoffee.com/Tastesseoulgood/e/135270
We’re planning to visit in July 2023! I’m a BTS Army and I was so happy to see that you brought up the Hybe museum! I smiled from ear to ear! Thank you for the amazing content!
Thanks for your kind words! :)
You are the best
Oh - you're too kind! Thanks!
😊😊😊😊 wonderful ✨
✨Wish to visit ancient/amazing South Korea some years ✨
Paul, A true Labor of Love.
Amazing job! I was considering Seoul but now I am hooked. I will have to visit. How many days do you recommend?
환영합니다 감사합니다 어서오세요!
This gentleman here : haha 😂what a way to introduce us to an Asian emperer . I like it
Bukhansan National park/ peak trekking hiking? I think this is probably in the top 5 things to do regardless of what route and peak you will choose.
Great video! Just a question about the euljiro bar alley. When you’re able to get a table do servers come to you to take your order or do you have a to go inside and order? Is there a waitlist or just a first come first serve? I know that area is always packed so I’m afraid to go there because I don’t know how it’s works 😂
No need to be nervous. Everyone is drunk there! I just ordered outside. Maybe different stores have different policies, but it seems the servers walk around the tables and take the orders. Very easy!
I believe it's all first come, first served. But again, may depend on the restaurant as there are multiple places in the area.
Have fun!
How you travel each destination? Bus?
Uber? Thank you and God bless u more ❤
Where can I buy these traditional Korean lunch box ? Can you give the name of this place ? 16:39
what time does the banpo light show usually start? is it every 20 minutes?
Ah man you forgot hongdae, if you like night life that place is a must, me and my friends would party from sun down to sun up.
You're right! I don't even know how Hongdae didn't make the list!
But also, when I filmed most of this, Hongdae was a ghost town due to the pandemic.
Next time!
The banpo bridge fountain show is daily? And what’s your recommended itineray in seoul for a 7 days trip?
Thanks for your kind words! :)

i like Bukchon Hanok village
Yes, but so crowded these days
A week in Busan could be short on time having watched your video on Busan. Now I'm thinking a week in Seoul will be to short too.
You can still do a lot in one week!

very good
What is the site you mentioned to book a reservation to The Sool Museum?
I think you'll need a Naver account, but this is the link: m.booking.naver.com/booking/12/bizes/142806/items/4569341?area=plt
GREAT video content about Korea, definitely the best country in the world, worth visiting and exploring. Friendly people, delicious tropical food and drinks, crystal white sandy beaches, has a lot to offer. Welcome to PARADISE, I love it
Amazing Korea

Hi! How much time do you recommend to stay in seoul ? Tysm
Only Seoul? Maybe 7-10 days. If you want to visit other cities, you'll need more time, obviously. But there's so much to see and do that a week should allow you to see the major attractions.
@@TastesSEOULGood tysm! Yes i plan on going to korea for 1 month so maybe 10 days in seoul seems good!
How can I book for the drum class? 👀
I WANT TO WEAR A HANBOK.
통인마켓 ... 동네이름은 서촌 마을 입니다 ! 경복궁 (west village )
bridge led show
Yes, another "must see" thing
what month was this video taken?
A lot of it was filmed in July/August of this year - but other parts are from older vlogs were taken earlier.
Umm, you forgot Myungdong Market.
As long as i am not served dog or cat I'll eat anything in Korea😅

dude you forget the 51st tip: take a dump and throw the dirty toilet paper in a separate basket instead of flushing it. I think that 60% of toilets I’ve seen there allowed this experience
Not to sound nasty, because I understand why people would want to do it, but I kind of feel like touring the filming locations of Parasite is kind of...blind towards the whole message of the film? I don't think treating the struggles of the struggling classes, especially in a country that is not someones home country, like its an attraction is very respectful. Take into account that this is just my interpretation and not meant to attack anyone who has done this or plans to do this, its just food for thought.
You know that this was....a movie, right?
Regardless, the city has designated these as tourist spots and actually encourage people to visit them.
@@TastesSEOULGood Of course! I just mean, because the movie was a commentary on true life issues, that affect real people and as far as I know, a lot of the filming locations are places of actual residence as well. I would hope a lot of this money would go back into the people, though, so I can see the good sides and bad sides of these sorts of activities.
