sad about your Cryptomeria. i cannot wait for mine to grow that large. but you have a great outlook. Every time something is lost it gives us an opportunity as gardeners. Sounds like you are not convinced those boxwood's going there....lol....I know the struggle! leave them for a bit and get use to them. maybe a couple rhodies or azleas would help fill it in? I know you will think of something awesome
Thanks! Oh no, they are definitely going there they just look a lot smaller than when they were at the nursery! The Cryptomeria took up so much real estate in that bed that I had no idea how large it actually was. Good luck with your Cryptomeria! I definitely want at least one of the taller growing ones, they are such a gorgeous and refined plant!
What are the name of your box woodsI love the shape of them? My house faces northeast, and I had no problem growing begonias. I like to buy them at the nursery in a tray of eighteen, so I can have a full look. My next look hopefully, is to try impatiens.
I absolutely love boxwoods! The texture is so satisfying, and they seem so full. Thanks for sharing!
Oh, thanks for watching! Yes, I think they will do much better there and look a lot nicer 🙂.

They are Green Mountain that have been pruned into cones. Good to hear you've had success with begonias!
