nice tutorial but did not work for me cause in the ABP you connect to branch to something i cannot find in my blueprint and also i dont have delta time to find, Please try to show your tutorials started from a fresh ABP so that people easy can follow and not end up with not finding to connect in the blueprint. So for now i get stuck with my turn in place
You underestimate the quality of this tutorial, I find it superior to most of the tutorials here on youtube.. Thank you for making this, it helped me find a solution to my own problem with the turn in place, thanks!
Hey Thanks for posting! I found your previous video trying to do the challenge for Steve's Action Game! I am having trouble implementing your solution in that project due to Echo not having any rotation animations. How would you accomplish this with echo without having to get additional animations? Even though this didnt work for me I shared your video on reddit for people looking to implement such functionality! Keep up the great work!
Thanks so much! I appreciate the support a lot! I think the easiest way to get turn-in-place animations would be going to mixamo.com and looking for some turn in place anims and retargeting the animations to echo. I don't know of a way to accomplish this without having turning animations, though. Cheers and good luck!
@@TelesphorosGAMEDEV Yes, that's what i was trying, but since we executed the add actor local rotation inside the character's animation blueprint, i tried to replicate the variable in the same blueprint. I was trying to figure out if that's wrong or not, beucase it's not working for now.

@@TelesphorosGAMEDEV Thanks Bruv will do!
Thank you! This was helpful.
Awesome tutorial, This worked pretty well for my topdown prototype, how would you go about replicating it for multiplayer though?
Have you tried replicating the character's Yaw variable? It may be as easy as that, but I will open the project as soon as I can and take a look!
