I have been shooting Blaser Supersport for four years now and I can say the quality of workmanship on the F 3 series is second to none. The set up of rib and comb help to fit the shotgun to your style of shooting. Here in the USA especially in South Florida you find a fair amount of Blaser shotguns because of factory support and dealers selling the Blaser line. IMHO for the money the Blaser lineup is hard to beat !

I have shot just about every gun you can imagine and in my opinion the Blaser F3 is the best competitive shotgun made.

I own 2 (yes, 2) Blaser F3 Left-hand Supersports. Each has adjustable comb.
The good: Very steady tracking clays from perfect balance at the hinges; superb build quality barrels, forend, lever etc; action built like a bank vault; recoil’s nonexistent with 1200 fps shells
The bad: At 8+ pounds, it’s heavy-after 200 shells you feel the weight; Wood finish is beautiful on both but wood grade could be better imo; choke threads are 2 inches inside the barrel making it hard to clean them.
Verdict: When I was looking for high-end clay gun, nothing shouldered for me as well as the F3. When you mount the gun, you know.

Hi David, my every day is a 694 which I love, I recently purchased a second hand F3 competition and can’t miss with it, worth every penny

I’ve had a F3 professional for over 5 years now, Love it to bits, I think it’s a brilliant gun. I also have an F16 which is equally as good.

I have had my Supersporter for a year now. I have fitted an Ergosign stock which with the Blaser adjustability and balancing set up means I know where it shoots. A delight to use for Olympic Trap I have shot more than 250 targets (+ 180 second barrels) in a day without noticing fatigue or recoii using Fiocchi Official Rossa 24 gm. I also use it for sporting with Hull Pro Fibre 28gm and different chokes (MUller). I have another F3 Sporting with flat rib Ergosign stock and different barrels. It is possble to switch between the two easily but the more head up style of the Supersporter is better for long range targets.

Just a comment on the barrel selector: I don’t find it fidgety at all. In fact if you are one that does change barrels, you can do a quick feel with your finger without having to look at it as you are doing preshot to verify it is what you want.

I have BD14 and BBF97. F3 is too expensive to go dragging through barbed wire fences hunting

Very impressive looking shotgun. I’ve had a go of the F3 vantage and was impressed with that. How does the super sport compare to the vantage?

Would love to hear your thoughts on the Browning B725 Protrap high rib.
Two of my shooting mates have gone from the f3 supersport to the Browning.

@@Jolly56Roger Both my mates likes the Browning better. I shoot the high rib too, but I haven't owned the f3, so I can't compare them.
      I used to shoot a B725 s1.

Very impressive. As Blasers come with a set of balancing weights. Was the balance good “out of the case,” or had you adjusted it, using the weights supplied? Also, you referred to the “Vantage” model. Is the “Supersport” more suited to “trap?” You seemed very comfortable with it and a high rib suggests it is.

This gun has had a myriad of problems right from its concept. The gun stocks are not made in Germany but in Romania and are are very susceptible to cracking because trigger fencing has been so paired back. My stock broke after 2 weeks of use and Blaza do not guarantee the wood and had to pay 800 quid to get a new stock and I'd only shot the gun twice. I've known 5 people who have had the same problem. The gun I feel is badly put together and as a consequence the recoil is unbelievable if compared to a a top Italian gun such as karate Perazzie. I think they are rubbish, I would never ever by one again extremely poor design too many issues. I think the reason why you get so much recoil from a Blazer is the gun is not tightly put together like a Perazzie. For me the F3 was a big waste of money. Would urge extreme caution when buying one of those guns.

I’ve been reluctant to purchase a blaser for the very reason you mention about excessive recoil. One of the older veteran clay shooters at our club swore up and down to me, don’t ever buy one because they kick harder than anything he’s ever owned with maybe the exception of a Winchester 101
