I am so glad you guys went in and broke down the utter stupidity of the character of Chris. The target audience was cheering him on like he’s some underdog. He’s a moron and one of those “ hey babe I can only afford to pay the light bill” husbands Tyler Perry is now promoting.

He was terrible! I don’t get tied up in masculinity and gender roles but those type of characters are horrible. Appreciate you!

I got so sick of Andrea comparing the men in her family to her nepo baby side piece. William Cartwright was just a d-bag born into a lot of wealth and privilege. She bragged about his Harvard education; an education he probably got through a legacy admission. He was mediocre at best in his job, and he would never have worked in as high of a position of authority at a company run by strangers. He couldn’t even hold on to his job where his mother was the boss. You know he ain’t sh!t when his own mama fired him from the family business. Andrea was delusional.

Right?! He was the living example of privilege!!!

@@KisstheReviews Yes he was! Put most people in those circumstances and they would thrive - without getting fired by their moms.

Tyler perry has interesting stories if you guys are interested in seeing more, but his execution can get clunky. I enjoyed this one. One of my favorites of his.

You would like “I Can Do Bad All By Myself”, “Good Deeds”, and “Why Did I Get Married”.
👍🏽👏❤️😎Nice reaction to “The Family That Preys!”
I have all of Tyler Perry’s plays and most of his movies.
Regardless of how one feels about his films, there is always a lesson learned.

I love your channel so much!! Sanaa's name was still said wrong, lol. The last double"aa" in her name is pronounced similar to "ahh", such as Sa-nahh. Hope that helps!

I don't remember much about Thelma & Louise. I just remember Lisa from "The wood" referring to them as stupid b*tches lol.
I don't remember this movie although I'm sure I've seen it because I love Alfre Woodard and Katy Bates. In general, Tyler P movies are way too dramatic and extra for me. So on that note can you review "To Wong Foo, thanks for everything Julie Newmar"? lol.

Great review, I laughed so much! I knew you guys would go in on the over-the-topness of this movie, which is trademark Tyler Perry. Aside from hearing you guys pronounce Sanaa Lathan’s name again, I requested this movie because it is one of my favorite Tyler Perry movies (I really like the cast and performances).
By the way Armando, you got closer, but still mispronounced it. Like a viewer stated under “The Best Man” review, it’s pronounced like Frank Sinatra’s last name, without the “TRA” part (Sin-NAH). And Corey, yes my name is pronounced the way normal people would say it (rhymes with “dribble”). Again, thanks for the laughs. 😂

    Hilarious insights.
The Annie Wilkes/Molly Brown reference was perfection!

You guys actually made me look at this movie a different way. Chris was being dumb and Alice was wrong for not helping her daughter a bit. I love Sanaa Lathan and this was the first character where I strongly didn't like her. This review is Hilarious!

Given how selfish and stingy Andrea was about her money, it is not plausible that she simply set up her booty bonus money in an account in the same bank that her husband used, in an account set up in both their names. In real life she would have at least set up an account - in her name only - at a separate bank. She may have even gotten her nepo baby side piece to help her set up some shady offshore account that wouldn't get reported. Either of these steps would have kept her booty bonus money hidden from her clueless husband for the rest of their marriage. A shady offshore account may have gone undetected throughout the divorce, depending on how good of an attorney Chris hired.
