ERA Cobra 427 S/C Roadster intake manifold gasket replacement, coolant getting in the oil.

Coolant was getting in the oil. Diagnosed as a leaking intake manifold gasket. Passenger side rear water jacket was the culprit.

FelPro 1246 or 1247 gaskets will almost always fail! They redesigned these gaskets with a steel insert which cures this problem! 1246S3 or 1247S3!

Thanks FE. Found that out the hard way. I used Edelbrock gaskets made for the intake for reassembly So far, 2000 miles later, no leaks.
