This was so inspiring and relatable in so many ways. I am a long-time fan of Annie Leibovitz. I always wondered about the sets and backdrops. Wow, now I know!
As someone who lost a parent recently, I was reminded about how lucky we are to have good parents. May this video be a blessing to you and your mother Violet.
This film beautifully captures the essence of renewal and creativity. The hand-painted backdrops add so much depth and emotion. What an inspiring collaboration. This is a perfect blend of artistry and technology. Kudos to Oliphant Studio and Fujifilm for this incredible work! A true showcase of innovation meeting tradition!
Wow! This was lovely. The story, the visuals. It was captured so well. Well done to all who had a hand in this project. You all did a fantastic job! Thank you to Sarah and Violet for sharing their story.
What a delight was this! Interesting character, good Direction, love the editing, colors.... thank you so much! , what the world need its ART, and you guys nail it!!! 100%
This is a great documentary. I'm just a little puzzled by the green cast in all the studio shots. I'm guessing that it's intentional since this is officially released by Fujifilm, but it seems a little strange to do that in the backdrop studio where the accurate colors would be so important.
No shade to the people that worked on this, but I’m not a fan of the colors either the green cast is strange yes but what is more offputting is the lack of any true blacks in the whole video. Bringing the darkest parts of the image to true black really makes the footage from the XH2 shine.
It was such a pleasure to be the editor for this documentary. Thank you to dir. Anna Andersen, FujiFilm and Oliphant family for making it happen!
Such a beautiful story and so well edited together. I wish I could’ve been a part of this project as the colorist!
Beautifully edited!
The sensitive and loving family relationship is touching. I loved learning about it! Beautiful documentary work!

This was great! "I don't want to paint backdrops, I just want to be Violet" 😢

It was a great pleasure to watch this Doc!
A stunning masterpiece lies in the creation of a captivating backdrop!

Wonderful! My Oliphant backdrops are used almost every day.
Wow, this was so beautifully written, shot and produced; it's just a gem of a little film!
You two sound just like my wife and daughter. Exactly the same dynamic. Mother: "Do this." Daughter: "I know! I know!" Priceless. :)
The Colorgrading is so awesome. I would be interested in the grading process, but think Mr. Harvey won't tell his magic. Great Job - Thanks

Fantastic short film, I met Mrs. Oliphant years ago in NY. Her work is the best.
Beautiful colours!

Cool doc, I’ve know about Oliphant for years but never knew who was behind it. Thanks

Lovely. Beautiful work.
How do I go about getting Fuji gear for my doc??
Wonderfully done. What were the lenses used on the X-H2?

Only 6K views after 5 days. Fuji needs to find a new marketing team.
"Sarah doesn't do well in math, because she's an artist".. In my case, "Waleed doesn't do well in math, because he's an idiot" :)
I been using the I’m an artist/photography BS my whole life
You can't die from cervical cancer anymore? News to me
To be fair, it is not inspiring or relatable. It's a job done good and sold well. Like a Hasselblad camera or Hahnenmühle paper.
Hasslblad.. jeez only the most expensive well made camaras in the world
