This is Part 7 of my very first time playing Genshin Impact. Genshin Impact is an action role-playing game developed and published by miHoYo (with publishing outside mainland China under Cognosphere, d/b/a HoYoverse). It was released for Android, iOS, PlayStation 4, and Windows in 2020, and for PlayStation 5 in 2021, with an Xbox Series X/S version coming in November 2024. The game features an anime-style open world environment and an action-based battle system using elemental magic and character-switching. A free-to-play game monetized through gacha game mechanics, Genshin Impact is updated regularly using the games as a service model.

Agreed, he even started the game because of the music! Playing genshin without music is like eating plain rice, sure you can, but you miss out on so much. Not even just the background ambience music, removing music also takes it away during main quests and it is SO important for the emotions the story wants to portray. If edited down videos are what it takes for Edy to be able to play with music then I don't think anyone will complain

Edygrim, just putting this out here since I think it'll help you a lot at this stage - do check out this short video on how to help make your Genshin Impact gameplay and progress easier. I used it a lot when I was at your level in the game till endgame and it really helped me tremendously, like informing me on what should I prioritize using my resources on (to level character levels, weapons or artifacts? etc.), at which adventure rank levels to do so and also who are the characters that are the most useful and I should be focusing on training so that I don't waste my time or in game resources. The channel in general has a lot of tips and videos for beginners to genshin which I found really made the game much clearer and gave me a proper direction on what I should be focusing on at any level in game. Also, at your level, just focus on doing the archon quests (which are the main storyline quests) and maybe some minor exploration, you can ignore or leave everything else and come back later. Also, once you reach adventure rank 24, you can get your dailies done through encounter points, instead of having to do commissions. You can get encounter points by doing things like opening chests, waypoints, statues of the seven, doing quests, and collecting oculi (the star things that ping you on the mini map).
Yeah unfortunately it's hard to dodge consistently in genshin when your internet ping is in the red. That's what makes shield characters so useful. You mention you'll have new characters in your next gameplay in your pinned comment. I'm hoping one of them will be a shielder, like Noelle (you get her first 10 pull on the beginner banner in the wish section). Then dodging won't be as much of an issue.
Also, you can heal your whole team by teleporting to a statue of the seven (the round blue bubble teleport points on the map).
You can use auto cook to cook multiple dishes at a time.

If you run out of stamina while gliding, click your mouse to do a plunging attack. As long as you're not super super super high up, it should negate enough of the falling damage so you don't die.
Despite what Kaeya says when you use his skill, that button doesn't freeze enemies on its own. You need hydro to do that. Enemies affected by hydro (the swirly blue icon floating above their head) will become frozen when hit with cryo, like with Kaeya's skill. Hydro can be applied either from another character that has that element, from the enemy naturally being infused/composed of it, or because of rain or going into a body of water.
You can "ice-bridge" with Kaeya. His E Skill has a short enough cool down that you can freeze the water, step out onto the ice and walk to the leading edge. Before the ice melts under your feet, his E Skill will be ready to use again allowing you to freeze another section of water for you to walk onto. It's a bit slow but when you can't swim the distance, it's one of your options.
Small combat tip.
It might help if you do Kaeya's ultimate then swap to Lisa and attack
Or do Amber's ultimate, Kaeya's ultimate then swap to Lisa and attack.
You might get a reaction that will do more damage on the enemies!
Try to use reactions , it makes the game much easier . If it gets difficult to remember what does what, i have a tip . When I first started i used to remember how elements react irl . Water +fire = vaporize or water+electro= electrocute etc .
friendly tip: if you are on your wind glider, a few metres up in the sky and you want to get to the ground quickly without taking fall damage, you can just attack in the sky and you will get down real fast (still get a bit of fall damage for SUPER high distance though)

Cryo (Ice, Kaeya's element) is very powerful in early games. You just need to apply hydro (water, rain element) and then put cryo in. You can also do it in reverse order.
They should give you free Barbara, who is a healer and a hydro catalyst (book) user. Use her for easy freeze all the time.
edit: note that Barbara isn't the only hydro unit around, so take your time exploring. If you want to rush, you can go to Fontaine now and get the hydro Traveler as well.

Okay Please tell me you have gotten your mail because of all the free goodies that have come in since Natlan. Also looks like you have characters with buffs you have not put on. I like watching you play these sections but I swear at the screen a LOT while I watch. I hope you are having fun!
Have you considered streaming this on Twitch? That might be more ideal for the gameplay, you can keep the music and maybe even add a cam if you wish
