Never understood why Harry Kane was taking corners during the Iceland game. The guy is 6’2” and is a striker!

@@dequanmsealey1356 True we've seen the likes of Van Persie do it at Arsenal. But the difference is that it actually worked he could actually whip in a corner. We dont want our 6'2 striker taking corners if hes shite at them. Even stevie Wonder could see that Kane on set pieces wasnt working. And the fact that Roy couldnt even see that. Immediatly change it and put someone like Rooney on them instead is worth the sacking in itself.
@@botnaldo7432 taking corners and scoring headers are skills, they are many 6ft+ players that take corners and many 5 footers who score good headers

Yes. Apparently taking accountability isn't necessary. He's so likeable but this tournament has always left such a bad taste in my mouth. He claims he didn't need to be there since he was leaving the England job but I doubt that would've been an issue had he won the tournament given that his contract has come to an end.

Hodgson has proven himself to be a top manager throughout Europe and in England with the likes of Fulham and Palace. Unfortunately, he just doesn't seem suited to sort of jobs that get incredible media pressure such as England and Liverpool.

Gareth Southgate needs to step up and really think about the team he chooses. I have a feeling he chooses people he likes the best rather than who is actually best. I mean...why tf was Dier selected over Coady, otherwise we ain’t got a chance for the Euros
